DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Winning Fanduel Advice April 5th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande . I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army. If you are not yet a member, we have something special for you right now. Use the link here and promo code “BLANDE” to get 20% off your subscription.

It’s #FreebieFriday over here at the DFS Army, and the DFS gods have blessed us with a thirteen-game NBA slate tonight. If that isn’t big enough for you, then I have no idea what else would be. The size of the slate is not proportional to the good options we have off the bench. Injuries have forced the top bench options into starting lineups. That said, let’s take a deep dive into the best of what’s left on the bench tonight.

Shoutout to Kearg24 for this amazing performance last night. A cool $20k off an $8 investment!

CORE PLAYS

SG – Dwayne Wade ($6,300): Wade approaches the end of his career and looks to close it in style. He’ll be a top option over the next few games. He is playing well at the moment and averaging right around 30 MPG. He makes for a good Hybrid/GPP option tonight.

SF – Jeff Green ($4,200): With both Jabari Parker and Trevor Ariza out, Jeff Green gets the main backup forward role. He’ll play close to 30 minutes tonight. The matchup against the Spurs is not the best on the board, but it is an exploitable one, especially if he matches up with Rudy Gay on the second unit. At his price, Green makes for a solid all-format play tonight.

PF – Serge Ibaka ($5,700): While everyone keeps focusing on Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka has quietly been doing work off the bench. He is basically playing the same number of minutes as Gasol. The matchup against the Hornets who struggle mightily against bigs, also suits his skill set. He makes for a formidable option in all-formats off the bench tonight.

It’s not just NBA! The wins keep piling up in MLB as well! What are you waiting for to join us?

GPP PLAYS

SG – Terrence Ross ($5,400): Ross worked his way out of a huge slump in his last outing. He’ll look to build on that in a superb matchup against the Hawks tonight. The Hawks are really bad defending any position, and with Bazemore out, they barely have anyone that can truly stop Ross. He makes for a solid GPP option off the bench.

SG – Jordan McRae ($4,500): McRae has put up 24+ FPs in three of his last four games. He is getting around 20-25 MPG. This is more than enough for him to meet value at his price tag. He could see some additional minutes today with all the injuries the Wizards are dealing with, increasing his upside in this matchup. He makes for an interesting drop-score GPP target.

SF – Chandler Parsons ($4,300): Memphis will once more be without its best players. This opens the door for Chandler Parsons to play around 25 minutes tonight. He has been pretty consistent, putting up around 26 FPs when given around 25 minutes. This is more than enough to meet value tonight. Given the matchup, he makes for a solid drop-score GPP target.

PF – Johnathan Williams ($3,800): With all the injuries the Lakers are dealing with, the young guns are getting solid run. The matchup against the Clippers is fantasy gold for bigs, and Johnathan Williams appears to be a beneficiary. He is getting minutes which translate into fantasy points. He is an excellent drop-score candidate tonight as he is likely to get 25-30 minutes.
