DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Winning Fanduel Advice April 4th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army

We have a small three-game slate to deal with tonight. On such a small slate, remember to play light and focus on GPPs. Preferably single entries and small entry GPPs. There aren’t many good options off the bench tonight, especially with numerous injuries forcing reliable bench producers into starting lineups. However, this has never stopped us from bringing you a few solid 6th Men options. Let’s dive in!

6TH MEN

PG – TJ McConnell ($3,600): JJ Redick and Jimmy Butler are questionable. If both can’t play today, TJ McConnell is in line to play upwards of 25-30 minutes. At his price, he makes for an excellent drop-score option on this slate.

SG – Pat Connaughton ($4,800): Connaughton is averaging 30 MPG over his last five games, with three 30+ FP efforts in that span. If Kris Middleton can’t go tonight, he’ll play a similar number of minutes, and stands to benefit if Butler is out. This is a good spot for him, making him a solid hybrid/GPP option tonight.

SG – Jordan Clarkson ($6,500): Clarkson has quietly been putting up solid numbers for the Cavs recently. His minutes are a little inconsistent, but he has been averaging over 30 FPs per game over his last 6 games. He is in line for around 30 minutes tonight in a good matchup. He is GPP viable here.

PF – Marvin Bagley III ($7,500): Bagley is the top option off the bench tonight. He’ll play 27-30 minutes tonight in a fantastic matchup against the Cavs. He has 50 FPs upside in this matchup and makes for an excellent all-format play.

Those are your sixth men of the day1 Good luck out there Army!
