Full Court Press:

Charlotte Hornets @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 232.5

Vegas Spread: Was -3.5

Pace: Cha +2.5

We start things off with the Charlotte Hornets, who seemingly always seem to be underpriced. The Research Station loves Willy Hernangomez tonight as a value play, projecting him to hit 8x. With Cody Zeller out for tonight’s game, there will be extra center minutes to go around. I’ve been targeting the Wizards with centers all year, this seems like it should be a good spot for Hernangomez. Marvin Williams will also pick up some five minutes tonight, he’s been getting a consistent 30 minutes recently, but isn’t the most consistent player. He makes for a good mid-range option. Jeremy Lamb and Nicolas Batum are both good shooting guard options, I like Batum for cash and Lamb for GPP. Finally, Kemba Walker is my favorite play here, in three games against the Wizards this season he is averaging 51.1 Draftkings points per game. From the Wizards, Bradley Beal continues to produce consistent fantasy production. He’s expensive, but his floor is so high right now that I won’t be talking you off of him. Bobby Portis has scored 40+ fantasy points in three of his last four games and draws a nice matchup here. I love playing Tomas Satoransky and that won’t change tonight, in three games versus the Hornets this season he is averaging 32.3 Draftkings points per game. Trevor Ariza, Jeff Green, and Jabari Parker are all GPP plays for me given that they will cut into each other’s production.

5-star play: Kemba Walker, Willy Hernangomez, Bradley Beal, Tomas Satoransky

4-star play: Jeremy Lamb, Nicolas Batum, Marvin Williams, Bobby Portis

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Willy Hernangomez

GPP Sleeper: Trevor Ariza, Jeff Green, and Jabari Parker

Los Angeles Lakers @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Pace: Det +5.3

Starting with the Lakers, LeBron James seems to be going over his minutes’ restriction in the past two games. However, he likely won’t play much more than 32 per night. Given the matchup and the slate size, I won’t talk you out of him, but I’ll be going elsewhere. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope might be my favorite option from the Lakers. He’s scored over 20 fantasy points in his last two games and gets a little revenge on his old team tonight. Other than that, Rajon Rondo and Kyle Kuzma are the only other two Lakers I have interest in from this Lakers team tonight. From the Pistons, the whole starting five is pretty much in play here. The Lakers rank 28th against opposing centers, Andre Drummond should have a field day. I like Blake Griffin here, but I would just prefer Drummond. They also rank 27th in defense against opposing point guards which make Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard and Ish Smith all viable values plays.

5-star play: Andre Drummond

4-star play: LeBron James, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Reggie Jackson, Blake Griffin

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Ish Smith

GPP Sleeper: None

Sacramento Kings @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 233.0

Vegas Spread: Phi -9.0

Pace: Phi +2.0

Starting with the Kings, Nemanja Bjelica has been playing 25+ minutes lately with Marvin Bagley out. He’s a 1.01 fantasy point per minute guy on the season, so he makes for a nice low range option. De’Aaron Fox is a nice play here too, it’s not a great matchup, but in a face paced game like this, I’m willing to take a chance. Willie Cauley-Stein scored 37.8 Draftkings points against this team earlier this season and makes for a good play tonight as well. Buddy Hield and Harison Barnes are GPP plays for me tonight. From the Sixers, the whole starting five projects relatively similar from a point per dollar standpoint, other than Tobias Harris. Ben Simmons is probably my favorite play from this tier given that the Kings rank 30th in defense against point guards this season. With that said, Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler are certainly in play as well. JJ Redick also makes for a decent mid-range option.

5-star play: Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid

4-star play: Nemanja Bjelica, De’Aaron Fox, Jimmy Butler, JJ Redick

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None

GPP Sleeper: Buddy Hield, Harison Barnes

Milwaukee Bucks @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: 220.0

Vegas Spread: Mil -5.0

Pace: Mia +4.6

Starting with the Bucks, they are coming off of two days rest, so they should be pretty healthy in this one. The thing with the Bucks is, they are all priced as they should be. Giannis Antetokounmpo scores an elite 1.71 Draftkings points per minute and makes for a great spend up option tonight. Eric Bledsoe is beginning to get a little too cheap, in two matchups with the Heat this season he is averaging 33.3 Draftkings points per game. Khris Middleton is averaging 32.6 points per game in those matchups. Brook Lopez may have a tough time down low but has proven he can still get his points from behind the three-point line. From the Heat, I’ll be targeting the shooting guards in this one. The Bucks have had trouble against shooting guards all season, ranking 29th in defense against them. Dwyane Wade and Josh Richardson are both on my radar tonight as nice mid-range options. Other than that there isn’t much to like from the Heat, I want to like Hassan Whiteside but the minute consistency just isn’t there.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Dwyane Wade, Josh Richardson

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None

GPP Sleeper: Hassan Whiteside

Phoenix Suns @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: 225.0

Vegas Spread: Hou -13.0

Pace: Hou +2.7

Starting with the Suns, DeAndre Ayton is probably my favorite play here. He draws a bit of a difficult matchup against Clint Capela, but the price tag is cheap enough to where we can go there. Devin Booker is always an elite GPP option and I think that’s how it should be tonight. He’s gone over 60 fantasy points in two of his last four games and will look to stay hot tonight against James Harden defense. Kelly Oubre, Josh Jackson, and Mikal Bridges are all GPP options as well for me here. From the Rockets, James Harden scored 72 Draftkings points against this team earlier this season and makes for one of the better plays on the slate. The only thing that is tough here is the price tag, but he’s earned it. I like Clint Capela battling with DeAndre Ayton here, he’s gone over 35+ fantasy points in four straight games. I like Chris Paul and Eric Gordon here as well, but with all these Rockets we need to be careful with a potential blowout.

5-star play: James Harden

4-star play: Chris Paul, Eric Gordon, DeAndre Ayton, Devin Booker

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None

GPP Sleeper: None

Portland Trail Blazers @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 235.0

Vegas Spread: Por -7.5

Pace: Por +3.6

Starting with the Trail Blazers, the Pelicans rank 29th in defense against opposing centers on the season which puts Jusuf Nurkic in a good spot. The also rank 27th in defense against opposing shooting guards, making CJ McCollum a good play as well. Damian Lillard draws the toughest matchup here, but with so many guys out for the Pelicans you can certainly make a case for him. I worry that this game blows out, but those guys will be big factors in it if it does. In terms of value, Maurice Harkless and Al-Farouq Aminu make for decent plays. From the Pelicans, there really isn’t much I like here. This team is a bit of a mess right now, my favorite play here would be Kenrich Williams. He’s coming off a bad game against Milwaukee but gets a chance to rebound here. Julius Randle and Elfrid Payton make for decent plays as well, but I would reserve them for GPPs only.

5-star play: Jusuf Nurkic, Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum

4-star play: Al-Farouq Aminu, Kenrich Williams

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Al-Farouq Aminu, Maurice Harkless

GPP Sleeper: Julius Randle, Eflrid Payton

New York Knicks @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: 216.0

Vegas Spread: SA -13.5

Pace: SA +1.7

We have the same old story with the Knicks, we can’t really trust them for cash, but if we can somehow project correctly who will get minutes we could be in good shape. The Research Station likes Noah Vonleh the most here, he’s gotten 30+ minutes in three of his last four games and makes for a nice GPP play. Emmanuel Mudiay and Dennis Smith are both deep GPP plays, but one will likely have a good game here. I’ve been targeting point guards against the Spurs all season, so I might take my chances and get a little exposure to them tonight. Other than that, there isn’t much to like from the Knicks tonight. From the Spurs, Derrick White draws the best matchup as the Knicks rank 28th in defense against opposing point guards. DeMar DeRozan scored 53.3 Draftkings points against the Knicks earlier this season, we can go back to the well here with him. LaMarcus Aldridge draws a great matchup as well, the Knicks rank 27th in defense against opposing power forwards. Patty Mills, Bryn Forbes, and Marco Belinelli are all solid value options.

5-star play: Derrick White, DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge

4-star play: Noah Vonleh

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Patty Mills, Bryn Forbes, and Marco Belinelli

GPP Sleeper:  Dennis Smith and Emmanuel Mudiay

Chicago Bulls @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total: 228.5

Vegas Spread: Lac -8.5

Pace: Chi +2.8

Starting with the Bulls, Lauri Markkanen draws a good matchup here. The Clippers rank 26th in defense against opposing power forwards on the season. He’s cooled off quite a bit since that hot run he was on for a few weeks, but this is a nice bounce-back spot. Kris Dunn is coming off one of his better games of the season against the Lakers and will look to keep it going today against Patrick Beverley and company. The Bulls are all kind of priced up here which makes it hard to target them but Zach LaVine and Otto Porter have been playing well enough where I won’t talk you off of them if you want to go there. From the Clippers, as always, Lou Williams is my favorite play. He leads the team in usage at 32.9% and averages 1.27 fantasy points per minute. Ivica Zubac draws the best matchup here, the Bulls rank 23rd in defense against opposing centers on the season. Other than that, Montrezl Harrell and Danilo Gallinari make for decent plays tonight, but better for GPP.

5-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Lou Williams

4-star play: Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, Otto Porter, Montrezl Harrell, Danilo Gallinari

Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Landry Shamet

GPP Sleeper: Montrezl Harrell, Danilo Gallinari
