Hi there! I’m Aaron/AFriedman15 (@AFriedman15DFS) and this is Friedman’s DK Tiers, where I will break down the DraftKings Tiers slate using information from the DFS Army NBA Research Station (RS), DFS Army Domination Station (DS), and other sources. I will generally try to write Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Weekends, but I may have some spare time on other days as well.
In my articles, I will use a few terms which may or may not be familiar:

Tier 1:
Karl-Anthony Towns is my top play of the day. I feel like I have written these words a lot, but this is as good of a “KAT” spot as you can get. The Clippers are 29th in aDvP against the center position and he is our top ranked player on the And1 rating system. Giannis might be projected for a couple more points, but this is a pacedown spot for him. I mostly want all the KAT in Tier 1 and differentiate in other tiers, but the other two players are always viable.
Tier 2 :
LeBron James has a very appealing price on DK Classic and I like taking a shot and grabbing him here in tier 2. I want to go either LBJ or Bradley Beal here too. We just got word in the early afternoon that LeBron will be available to play. Beal has a great matchup himself as the Lakers are 29th in aDvP vs. the shooting guard position. LBJ and Beal are the only guys I am looking at in Tier 2.

Tier 3:
Trae Young is my favorite play here with the Atlanta/New Orleans total right at 240. Both teams play at a a super fast pace and Trae will have the ball in his hands in what should be an amazing game for DFS purposes. I love him in all DK formats. My second favorite play comes from the other side of this game, where Julius Randle will benefit with Anthony Davis doubtful. Randle has put up some stinkers in the past week, but Atlanta always makes a great bounceback spot. I will definitely have a few shares of Randle, but I am far more comfortable with Atlanta’s rookie star.
Tier 4:
Opposite Trae Young, we will find Elfrid Payton who is now probable for Tuesday’s night’s barnburner. Beyond the pace and team totals, the Hawks are 30th in aDvP vs. point guards, so Elf is a pretty easy call for me here. In GPPs, I don’t mind Fox here as well. With regards to Fox, Luka Doncic enters tonight as a questionable, so if you are interested in Fox, definitely keep an eye on this and stay tuned to the coaching channels. But to me, Payton is the superior play.
Tier 5:
Marvin Bagley has been playing very well, and he is absolutely in play for Tier 5, as well, but my favorite player here is John Collins. There are a lot of nuts matchups on this slate, and John Collins is no exception as the Pelicans are 28th in aDvP vs. PFs. Over the past few weeks, the Pels have really struggled defending the post, so I am excepting a nice game out of Collins tonight. I love stacking Trae and Collins in all formats and grab a Bagley share in GPP as he has been playing very well.
Tier 6:
Lauri Markkanen is the nuts here, with Zach LaVine and Otto Porter already ruled out and Kris Dunn not expected to be available for tonight’s matchup vs. Toronto. The spread is a little concerning, but even in a blowout, Lauri has by far the highest ceiling in this tier. My next favorite play is Kyle Kuzma, but on this ten-game slate, I want to be overweight on the Lauri here.

Those are your DK Tiers! Some are going to be commonplace, and some won’t. These are players my research led me to and some will contain risk.
