DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Winning Fanduel Advice March 21st

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

Welcome to another edition of 6th Men on this six-game slate. While there aren’t a lot of solid 6th men to go to tonight, the few available are extremely good plays. This is one of those nights where you can feel comfortable playing four guys off the bench in the same lineup. Let’s take a look at the top options tonight.

CORE PLAYS

SG – Jeremy Lamb ($7,000): Lamb is one of my favorite plays at the SG position tonight. In his last 11 games, since moving to the bench, Lamb is averaging well over 31 MPG. He has been on fire for the Hornets too, going for 37.1, 35.3, and 42.7 FDPs in his last three games. His matchup against the Wolves is an excellent one, with all the injuries the Wolves are dealing with. Lamb makes for a core play tonight.

PF – Marvin Bagley III ($6,600): Bagley is too cheap on FD tonight. In his last two games, he has gone for 36.8 and 36.4 FDPs in 21 and 29 MPG respectively. His minutes will only continue to go up from here, increasing his upside. Add to the exceptional matchup he draws against the Mavs, and you have the makings for an explosion. He is an all-format core play tonight.

Hybrid/GPP PLAYS

SG – Monte Morris ($4,300): A healthy Torrey Craig cuts into the minutes for Morris. That said, Morris is relatively cheap tonight. He gets an excellent matchup against the Wizards who struggle to defend anyone. He should see 20-25 minutes and with the Wizards on the back end of a b2b, it’s possible he could get more if this game goes out of hand. All these make him a solid drop-score and GPP option tonight.

SF – Jae Crowder ($5,500): Crowder continues his fine form off the bench for the Jazz. He is playing 26 MPG over his last six games and has gone for 25+ FPs in four of them. He gets a good matchup against the Hawks here tonight. The Hawks have been playing much better recently, but they still leak points to opposing players, making Crowder a nice mid-tier option tonight in hybrid/GPP lineups.

PF – Josh Jackson ($5,400): With Kelly Oubre out, Josh Jackson gets to pick up a lot of minutes. In the last two games, Jackson has played 32 MPG, putting up 36.9 and 28.4 FDPs. The upside for Jackson is tremendous; he has a 50-point ceiling. The limiting factor has always been minutes. Now, he is getting those minutes and his scoring will be needed tonight against the Pistons. At his price, Jackson is a very good hybrid/GPP option tonight.

These are your 6th Men of the day. Good luck out there Army!
