DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Winning Fanduel Advice March 19th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

Welcome to another edition of 6th Men on this six-game slate. It’s another six-game slate, but this time around there are actually some great plays off the bench. Let’s get a look at the hidden gems the bench has for us tonight.

CORE PLAYS

PG – Spencer Dinwiddie ($5,800): Dinwiddie will play right around 30 minutes tonight, especially with Crabbe out. He is in a good spot here against the Kings who struggle to defend PGs. At just 5.8k, he should have no trouble hitting value, and he has tremendous upside here as well. He is a core play.

PF – Montrezl Harrell ($8,200): Harrell is currently on a streak of three straight 44+ FP games. At his price and given the way the slate sets up, it is quite possible you get him here tonight at lower ownership. His matchup is excellent tonight. Given the matchup and form, he is a solid cash option. Given the potential to be low-owned he makes for a nice tourney play. He is a core play today.

PF – Marvin Bagley III ($6,200): Bagley is slowly finding his form, and he should see his minutes increase tonight to around 25 minutes. That’s more than enough time for him to crush the Nets who are abysmal when it comes to defending bigs. The spot is excellent, and his projected low ownership makes it even more enticing. He is a core option tonight off the bench.

GPP PLAYS

PG – Alex Caruso ($5,400): Caruso’s price is getting up there but given his production, you can’t really fault FD here. He has put up 28.5, 31.8, and 42.6 FDPs in his last three games. Tonight, without LBJ, presents an opportunity for him to test his ceiling even further. He makes for a hybrid/GPP play due to his salary.

SG – Jeremy Lamb ($6,500): Lamb is playing inspired ball right now, putting up 37.1 and 35.3 FDPs in his last 2 games. He gets a good matchup here tonight against the 76ers and will be able to avoid Butler for a portion of it since he is coming off the bench. If his shot is falling, watch out. He is a GPP option here tonight.

SF – DeMarre Carroll ($4,100): Carroll makes for an interesting play tonight. Allen Crabbe is out, opening minutes for Carroll. He is in line for right around 30 minutes of the bench here and in this excellent matchup against the Kings, he could explode. His price is too low, making him one of the top drop-score candidates on this slate.

These are your 6th Men of the day. Good luck out there Army!
