DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Draftkings and Fanduel Advice March 1st

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

We are back with a crazy seven-game slate today. This article will focus solely on Fanduel. This does not mean they are not viable on Draftkings as well, just that you’ll have to figure out if the prices work for Draftkings. With that out of the way, let’s take a deep dive into what this slate has to offer off the bench.

CORE PLAYS

SG – Lou Williams ($7,600): I’m sure you are becoming sick of seeing Sweet Lou in here, but there’s a reason for this. He is the top 6th Man of the season so far, and it’s not even close. He gets a fantastic matchup in a fast-paced game. Sign me up in all formats!

SG – Jeremy Lamb ($6,400): Lamb has been on fire since moving to the bench. His last two games he has gone for 46.5 and 47.8 FDPs. Before that, he faced up against the Nets and laid a dud in 18 minutes. This is a chance for him to rectify that error. He makes for an interesting hybrid and GPP play.

SF – Nikola Mirotic ($5,800): With Giannis being a little limited right now, Mirotic is picking up minutes and getting more production going. In his last game, he broke the 40 FDP barrier. He gets a nice matchup here in a high total and hammer game tonight. The low minutes and questions over Giannis limit Mirotic to just a hybrid and GPP play here though.

GPP PLAYS

SF – Nemanja Bjelica ($3,900): Bagley is out for a while, opening an opportunity for Bjelica to pick up 20-25 minutes. Factor in the fantastic matchup he gets against the Clippers and you have the makings of something special. The questions over his minutes make him just a GPP play though.

PF – Harry Giles III ($4,800): This is a play I am not that fond of; however, we need to cover it. Giles will be a popular option tonight, in a fantastic spot. That said, he is really priced up here. His price has me worried here, but the matchup and possible upside make him a GPP play.

PF – JaMychal Green ($3,800): JaMychal Green makes for a nice play here. This will be a fast-paced game and his size will be needed here for this one. He will see around 25 minutes tonight and at his price makes for an excellent drop-score candidate.

C – Alex Len ($3,500): With John Collins questionable, Len could find himself picking up a few extra minutes here tonight. Len went for 32.5 FDPs in 22 minutes last time against the Bulls. If Collins is out and he gets 20-25 minutes, he could very possibly go for 10x here. He makes for an interesting drop-score candidate in GPPs.

Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
