DFS NBA Lineup Strategies – Blande’s 6th Man – Draftkings and Fanduel Advice Feb 10th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

It’s a Sunday and on top of that, we have small slates. Play EXTRA LIGHT today and only GPPs. On Fanduel we have a two-game early and main slate. On DK we have a two-game early slate and three-game main slate. I’ll cover the top 6th Men from both slates in this article. Let’s dive straight in!

Nice wins yesterday all around! Nice work here by Furioustylez75! There were many more too!

EARLY SLATE

SG – Reggie Bullock (5100/3000): Bullock makes his debut for the Lakers today. He could be thrown into significant minutes if Josh Hart misses this game. In such a scenario he could easily see 25 minutes. He is a shooter, the kind of player that thrives around LeBron James. His price on DK is just too low, making him an excellent punt play tonight. He is too expensive on FD due to the unknowns.

SF – Jake Layman (4700/3900): Layman is averaging 29.7 DKPs in 30.1 MPG over his last 3 games. Given the minutes and production he is putting up, he is too cheap on both sites for this matchup. With Rodney Hood joining the team, and Turner and Harkless being healthy, minutes aren’t guaranteed, but Layman really stands out here as a potential value play.

C – Dwight Powell (5800/4800): Since the trade of DeAndre Jordan, Powell has played 27 and 20 minutes, putting up 38.5 and 27.5 DKPs respectively. He is a big part of this Mavs team going forward and will be relied on in a matchup against the Blazers. He makes for a nice low-owned play here tonight, especially on DK where he is much cheaper.

MAIN SLATE

SG – Terrence Ross (5700/5300): I love Terrence Ross here tonight, even though he cost me thousands last night. The matchup against the Hawks is fantastic, we saw Lamb have a career night against them last night. Aaron Gordon being questionable will only boost Ross here. Love him on all sights, probably the first play into my lineups.

SG – Bogdan Bogdanovic (6000/5000): Bogdan remains too cheap on both sites, especially DK. He has tremendous upside against the Suns and a solid floor. Over his last 5 games, Bogdan is averaging 27.3 MPG. In his last 2 games, he has gone for 31 and 32.25 DKPs in 32 and 34 minutes respectively. He is too cheap here, just play him.

SF – Kelly Oubre Jr. (7200/5900): The price on FD for Kelly Oubre is ridiculous, but he is playable on DK. This is not a play I’ll go out of my way to roster, but Oubre clearly has the upside and is averaging 37.3 DKPs in 33 MPG over his last 4 games. The return of Booker will limit his upside a little here, but he is still playable at 5,900 on DK.

Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
