Slate Overview:

I’m switching things up a little bit this week, as there are two Wednesday games, a Thursday game, and 2 Friday games:

  • Wednesday: Ohio (O/U 60, -5) @ Miami (OH), 7:00pm ET
  • Wednesday: Toledo @ Northern Illinois (O/U 55, -4) 8pm ET
  • Thursday: Wake Forest @ NC State (O/U 57, -17)  7:30pm ET
  • Friday: Lousiville @ Syracuse (O/U 57, -21)  7:00pm ET
  • Friday: Fresno State (O/U 60, -2.5) @ Boise State, 10:15pm ET

QB

FanDuel

**$4,000 QB Alert ** Wake Forest QB Jamie Newman (4000 FD) will be drawing the start with Hartman out for the season.  I like pairing him with one of Rourke (10200 FD) or Dungey (10300 FD). Rourke is slightly safer, but Louisville is very poor this year so I am fine with either.  Ragland (9800 FD) and Finley (9000 FD) are my GPP guys, facing poor pass defenses.  For Wednesday, I am all-in on Rourke/Ragland.

DraftKings

For Wednesday’s slate: Ragland (8400 DK) has been outstanding of late and I love the discount we get from Rourke (11400 DK). Rourke is a stud though, and I will try to include him in cash and punt a few WR spots. This may be a great 1 QB day in GPPs, as I don’t really care for Peters since NIU has a very solid defense (#14 S&P Defense) and Childers is more of a game manager at this point and unlikely to hit value.

RB

FanDuel

Harbison (7300 FD) is my favorite play, as he has been getting a lot of carries lately.  Then I like Mattison (9900 FD) , who has been a workhorse for Boise, and Reggie Gallapsy Jr. (8600 FD) who should have a solid day for NC State. Jarveon Howard (6300 FD) might be interesting if Moe Neal is out for Syracuse, but they have used a lot of running back by committee, so  this may be a Friday only play. For Wednesday only, Young/Haribson is okay.

DraftKings

For Wednesday’s slate: I like K. Young and Harbison the best and Oulette and and Irons are interesting if you are fading Rourke. Miami-Ohio’s Alonzo Smith is a ok GPP Play. I love K. Young on DK because he is very involved as a pass catcher.

WR

FanDuel

  • Top Tier: Harmon, K. Johnson, Richardson,
  • Mid Tier: Meyer, Sorenson, J. Meyers
  • Value Tier: S. Washington, Mayock
  • Wednesday Only: Meyer, Sorenson, Robinson, Mayock

DraftKings

For Wednesday’s slate: Again, I like the top 4 priced WR’s  (Sorensen, D. Johnson, C. Thompson, and White). White is just outside my constructions thus far. I am trying to work up a narrative that Rourke will be okay, and Ouellette and Irons will smash, but I have no problem with wanting to play Rourke and White. Ball State’s Mayock and Robinson are okay punts.

Good Luck and Happy Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday!
