If you guys don’t know me – I am a diehard when it comes to Sports and DFS. I have the luxury of not only watching every game but also using Data as well to break things down to construct proper lineups. My articles with feature a CORE for your NBA lineups. These are guys I consider Cash Safe. I will also dive into some GPP pivots and sleeper picks. Draftkings has incorporated a late swap now for NBA. Fanduel is removing the lowest score in your lineups so there is some strategy there to take more risks with punts and sleepers. Pricing will be listed as Fanduel first then Draftkings after.

We have a huge slate tonight. If you feel overwhelmed – Do not HESITATE to play some of the express slates. I recommend leaning on the DOMINATION STATION and RESEARCH STATION or you’ll be a kid at the candy store not knowing what to do. Oh yeah – Don’t forget the SIM MODEL which runs over 5,000 different outcomes!
CORE/CASH
PG – Darren Collison (4900/4400) – Collison is a bit underpriced here on both sites. On b2b’s – both sites release their slates before the prior end slate ends and tend to just do what I call…”lazy pricing”. So Collison’s price hasn’t changed. He doesn’t have TREMENDOUS upside. His floor is there though especially without DIPO in the lineup. Collison faces off the best DvP against PGs tonight in Phoenix. He will get you about 25-30. If he stacks up steals he could get up to 40. Doubtful though…for GPPs I’d pivot off Collison. For Cash, just load em in.
SG – Rodney McGruder (4900 on both) – McGruder hasn’t been blowing people away lately but he’s getting tons and tons of minutes. This helps his floor a ton – However, I don’t think he has great upside to win a tournament. I like him in cash and would pivot off him in GPPs.
SF – Justice Winslow (5000/4200) – Mr. Winslow will be one of your chalkier players tonight. It really has been the same story with these Miami players now for a while but they still get the usage and minutes and make for great cash options. Winslow, unlike McGruder, has the upside to win you a GPP. He just hasn’t done it lately.
PF – Blake Griffin (9800/9300) – The PF position is jam-packed with overpriced mid-tier options with Blake being at the top. The Knicks are the second worst team on tonight’s slate against PFs and like I said this position is thin. We don’t really want to overthink it too much in cash. Blake will be high owned in cash so let’s just plug him in. The last 3 games against the Knicks he has dropped a 55/45/35. He fouled out in the game he dropped 35…so that was an outlier.
C – Andre Drumond (10600/9600) – Will see Kanter all night and have no issue dominating him. He should have no issue tonight giving us a 20/20 performance. If he adds and blocks or steals – enjoy the 60 he will deliver.
GPP/PIVOTS
PG – Lonzo Ball (6700/5600) – Lonzo! If ya’ll don’t know – Lonzo doesn’t like Jamal Murray. I am a sucker for narratives in Basketball. Added motivation. Well, it’s shown. Last 4 out of 5 games against the Nuggets, Lonzo has killed it. We are talking GPP winning killed it. Couple upper 40s, and even a 50. At this price, I love him for GPPs.
SG – Dwayne Wade (5500/5300) – Not sure what it is, but Dwade absolutely destroys Atlanta. He threw down a few 45 point efforts as a Bull, and sits in the upper 20s as a member of the Heat. The risk here is his minutes or I’d toss him into my cash lineups. He did just play 34 minutes and drop a 50. Miami needs to win guys. I see Wade’s minutes going up during these injuries. I like Wade as a pivot off some of the other chalkier Miami guys.
SF – Lebron James (11200/9400) – Recent performances stink to possibly lower ownership but last 3 games against Denver he has gone 60+ each time. As simple as it gets. Sign me up for Lebron in GPPs with that kind of upside.
PF – Kyle Kuzma (5700/5200) – Kuzma is hit or miss. Really does depend if his shot is falling. However, against Denver he has dropped a near 50 and hasn’t gone under 25 in his last 5 games. I like that floor and upside in my GPPs
C – Enes Kanter (7600/6800) – Oh boy…We are playing the KantGod. As you may not know yet, the Knicks and Fizdale are experimenting with rotations. They’ll probably be doing this all year. Well, right now, Kanter is being tested again. So we play him – watch him score tons of points and play no defense. As DFS players, that’s what we like!
