Happy Thanksgiving to my peeps in the US! Are you still in a turkey coma? If the answer is yes, I like how you roll. Try to clear those cobwebs soon, though. The Army is at the forefront of the industry. Normally, I explain that we are the best, but what makes us the best is the personal touch and that we are a learning group. We give you our picks and let you know how we are feeling for each slate, but the bigger takeaways are the coaching for each slate. We teach you how to research and what to look for. Heed these lessons and you will see your game rise to new heights.

Before I get to the games, in the spirit of the season, I just wanted to pause a minute to say how thankful I am for each and every reader of my column. From California to the UK, from Boston to Australia, I want to extend my deepest and most sincere thanks! Now, let’s get to the gameweek 13 breakdown for EPL DFS.

Brighton v Leicester City

Brighton is coming off back-to-back losses and is 3-0-2 in their last 5 matches. Leicester is 1-2-2 in their last 5 and have gotten points in their last 3. Leicester has had some time to grieve and I think they can finally start putting themselves back together. They still have quite a bit to work on though as this team has largely underachieved this season. I do feel like it is coming at some point soon, though. When looking at the expected goals metric, Leicester has only scored a third of the goals they have been expected to score in their last 3 matches.

Brighton has done their best work at home all season. Digging deeper into their recent form sees those last two losses on the road and 2 of those 3 wins at home. There is so much potential in this game. James Maddison could feature after returning to practice following a knee injury. Brighton absorbs so much pressure, that I would not hesitate to use a set-piece taker on the road. Over the last 3 weeks, Brighton has conceded the most crosses in the league. That brings the center backs, Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk, very much into play in any format on Fanduel.

Everton v Cardiff

Kudos to Cardiff on a good result last week. My advice is to take those good feelings and put them in a box and lock it away for after this one is through. I am looking at a one-sided affair in this one, provided everyone keeps their emotions in check. It appears that Gylfi Sigurdsson should return and I like him in cash. The big question, for me, is “How high will Richarlison’s ownership be?”. Considering his price, he could go under-owned and I love his spot tomorrow. Forwards tend to fare quite well when Cardiff comes to town.

Fulham v Southampton

I like this match in GPP. It really could go a number of ways and it is one I will be breaking down for the VIPs. Honestly, we have seen them score, we have seen them not. I like Fulham a bit more than Southampton but this does feel like a draw. I have the slightest of interest in Jean Michael Seri, being at home, but there could be better spots. Southampton is banged up but I have plenty of interest in their forward(s). Charlie Austin could be that guy up top.

Hey! I just wanted to take a break to tell you about our Beat The Bookie service over at the DFS Army. With the supreme court ruling that sports betting is legal, the DFS Army has launched their “Beat the Bookie” site. This is where we have handicappers teaching members how to make bets as well as sharing their proven models. If you have ever wanted to try your hand at sports betting, it’s better to do it with the help of winners in your ear. We have teamed up with the site MyBookie. If you are a new user and deposit at least $50, you will get a free month of the DFS Army Beat the Bookie service.

Manchester United v Crystal Palace

Earlier in the week, it was a bit unsure just how many of the starters for the Red Devils would be healthy, but it seems like the international break was just enough and everybody should be good to go. Crystal Palace is still somewhat sneaky on the road. They can’t score at home but they can when they travel. Odds are that Manchester wins, but what if they didn’t? Ashley Young is worth a cash play. Play your Palace footballers in GPP only. I like the differential from the books to my model, but it’s worth noting that Man U still has the better win odds, if only slight.

Watford v Liverpool

With 7 matches such as these, you need to draw some hard lines. I really only like Liverpool in this match. There is a shot for a clean, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Watford were to spoil that endeavor. Watford remains a GPP one-off against a tough opponent. Since we are talking Liverpool, that means Mo Salah is a solid cash play and you can play Alisson in net. The rest is GPP for me.

West Ham v Manchester City

This breakdown echoes the previous. I only really want City pieces and that’s that. It should be said that the center backs against these dominating clubs are in play on Fanduel, but I am just focusing on the City attack. Here’s a nugget for you that, normally, I may keep for the VIPs. City is not as prolific on the road as they are at home and West Ham’s defense is barely above average, but at least it’s heading in the right direction. Everyone will see City and want to stack them. For their prices and the number of options we have, I will likely be limiting myself. The game has a 3.5 total and I like it to go under. I think they are better-suited for GPP, this week.

Tottenham v Chelsea

Tottenham hosts Chelsea in a showdown of two big 6 teams. Normally, we like the home teams in this scenario, but this one looks different. The Spurs have had some trouble scoring and while they are getting healthier, I think the opponent is too big for them. We have seen a resurgence in Chelsea, most notably in their defense. They have allowed 1 goal in the past 3 weeks and only 1 goal against on the road. I like Chelsea on the road. My targets for the hammer will be handled in our coaching channels that you should join if you haven’t already.

That’s the game breakdown for this week. Remember, this is a top-level view and things can change. Of course, you know about the most important hour in the soccer DFS world. We will always have free content but the good stuff is saved for the ones who are willing to go the extra step. We will stand with you if you stand with us. Good luck this week!
