College Football is BACK!!!!! It was taken away from us a few years ago and I could not be happier that it is back. I am going to briefly touch on where to find some information and data and where to really dig to find those golden nuggets for CFB. Join the DFS Army team today and let our team help you crush the competition today! No doubt this is the best time of year!
The one big difference from CFB this year from last is the S-FLEX spot which allows you to play 2 QBs, which is HUGE! We will more than likely look at 2 QBs when I dive deep into 8 game slate in another article.
Quarterbacks:
David Pindell (UCONN)
Only $6300, Pindell is a great option on this slate because of matchup and past performance against UCF. He’s facing the 115th ranked defense v the pass in 2017. Pindell posted a line of 201 passing yards, 96 rushing and 3 TDs for 30.6 DKPTs. He’s way too cheap to pass up.
Jonathan Banks (TUL)
This dual threat QB has some pressure to preform with Justin McMillan coming over from LSU. He averaged over 23 DKPts the final 5 games of the season. Banks needs to step up to help secure his job.
McKenzie Milton (UCF)
His price is way too high for the likes of me. He averaged over 33 DKPts a game and went over 40 DKpts twice. High scoring game is expected.
Others to consider: Taylor Cornelius (OKST), Tyler Huntley (UTAH)
Running backs:
Rodney Smith (MINN)
Smith should be the focal point for the Gophers offense with the starting true FR QB Zack Annexestad. Last week, the NMST defensed gave up 190 yards and 2 TDs, and in 2017 they allowed 25 rushing TDs. Smith is at $8500 which allows for some saving and has a great floor for cash games.
Matt Colburn (WF)
Facing a horrible run defense, 117th last year, that allowed 26 TD last season, Colburn has a chance to make an immediate impact to the College football DFS contests.
Zack Moss (Utah)
Top back in Utah who will probably be one of the highest owned RBs on the slate. He can do it all. He bulked up to 220 and is coming off a 1100 yard season.
Others to consider: Justice Hill (OKST), Adrian Killins (UCF), Jeremy Larkin (NW), VALUE- Zavier Scott (UCONN)
Wide receivers:
Greg Dortch (WF)
The top dawg in this offense. He’s coming off a freak injury that cut his breakout season short. Even with a new QB, he’s going to get the targets.
Dredrick Snelson (UCF)
This guy will be playing on Sunday’s soon. He’s priced up at $9600 for good reason. It will be very hard to fit him with UCF QB Milton but they can easily hook up with some scores against the weak pass defense of UCONN.
Jace Sternberger (TA&M)
He’s a Monster sized TE transfer from Kansas. His 6’4” frame will be a matchup nightmare. Hype train is running full speed with this guy. He had 8 catches, 147 yards and 2Tds during the spring game.
Tre Nixon (UCF)
Another transfer who is not priced correctly. At $3k, Nixon is going on be starting and I really hope he is overlooked.
Others to consider: Britain Covey (UTAH), Tyler Johnson (MINN), Bennett Skowronek (NW)
