  • Connecticut Sun @ Chicago Sky

The Sun are looking to keep their winning streak going against a Sky team that gives up a lot of fantasy points to opposing teams. Jonquel Jones and Chiney Ogwumike are prime targets to take advantage of the shaky defense of Stefanie Dolson. Both are strictly GPP plays due to their limited minutes. Alyssa Thomas is an all format play in this juicy matchup. Courtney Williams and Jasmine Thomas are in great spots, and playable in all formats. Jasmine Thomas fares better on the road than Williams, so she is the better play of the two tonight. Finally, Morgan Tuck makes for a cheap GPP punt.

The Sky will have their hands full today. Stefanie Dolson is in an exploitable matchup, but her inconsistency makes it hard to roster her. She is usable in limited fashion in GPPs. Diamond DeShields is an interesting GPP play today. She’s a little too expensive but is capable of exploiting this matchup today. I have no interest in guards against the Sun. You can always use Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot in GPPs, just remember it’s a brutal matchup. Finally, Cheyenne Parker and Alaina Coates make for decent GPP punt plays.

  • Indiana Fever @ Phoenix Mercury

The key play here for the Fever is Candice Dupree. She has a great matchup today and her team will need her to carry the load. I love Victoria Vivians today as well, the matchup against Talbot is an exploitable one for her. Cappie Pondexter makes for an excellent value play today, and along with Dupree and Vivians, is playable in all formats. Finally, the only other player I have any interest in is Kelsey Mitchell who makes for an interesting GPP play.

For the Mercury, the top play is Britney Griner. Fire her up in all formats. DeWanna Bonner has an excellent matchup against Candice Dupree she can exploit. I have limited interest in Stephanie Talbot today, mainly because there are better punt plays around her price range and the matchup is terrible. I’ll be fading Taurasi today due to the matchup, but she is a good GPP play and will garner a lot of ownership. I have little interest in anyone else on this Mercury team.
