Jaguar Lou’s Jamboree

Pitcher(s)

Noah Syndergaard is my favorite pitcher on tonight’s slate. He faces a red-hot Milwaukee Brewers team that Despite their red-hot streak, couldn’t have worse stats against a Pitcher. Syndergaard has very impressive BvP stats against Milwaukee, holding them to a .170 batting average with 19 strikeouts over 49 at bats. I’m hoping Milwaukee’s recent successes keep Syndergaard’s ownership low but regardless of his ownership or Milwaukee’s recent streaks, Syndergaard has an extremely favorable matchup against a team that strikes out often. Don’t be afraid to roster the New York Mets ace tonight against Milwaukee, although I would invest in a hedge lineup in case of the possible scenario of a homerun derby in Miller Park tonight.

With many other pitching options, I do think your next best option at Pitcher is Luis Severino. You’re going to want to pay up at this position tonight, while there are cheap GPP plays, they do not carry the upside that Syndergaard or Severino have considering their strikeout potentials. You want 60 points from your pitcher? Play the same lineup twice, one with Severino, one with Syndergaard.

Other GPP options: Jon Gray, Reynaldo Lopez, Ross Stripling & Sean Manaea

Stack(s)

My favorite stack of day are the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers face Clayton Richard, who struggles against the entire team. I’m not joking. The ENTIRE team. Batter vs. Pitcher stats show seven out of the nine expected Dodger batters tonight with extremely favorable matchup’s. These players include Justin Turner, Chris Taylor, Yasiel Puig, Matt Kemp, Logan Forsythe, Cody Bellinger and Austin Barnes. Take your pick for the late-night hammer. Many of these players are extremely cheap, allowing flexibility for the rest of your lineup. The Dodgers are favored at -192 with a 7.5 O/U.

The New York Yankees are a nice stack against Andrew Heaney tonight in Yankee Stadium. The Yankees are NOT my favorite stack simply because you’re paying through the roof for all of their players including Torres at 4200 on FanDuel…are you kidding me? I mean I know he’s killing it recently but that’s a big jump) I do think the Yankees will produce tonight just don’t get too sneaky. Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and any other powerful right-handed batters are the viable plays within this New York Yankees stack. Heaney allows a higher long ball percentage to opposing righties than lefties and has yet to allow a homerun to a left-handed batter so far this season. Andrew Heaney has been pitching well as of late, but I think the Yankees can produce 3+ homeruns against him and the Los Angeles Angels bullpen. With the wind in New York blowing out to center at 12 mph and the Yankees favored at -250 with a 9 O/U, you’ll get what you’re paying for.

Other Favorite Stack(s): Boston Red Sox

**Hanley Ramirez was designated for assignment earlier today – DO NOT PLAY**
