Facing another southpaw tonight in Texas, Matt Moore, so let’s put Davis as the Dong Detector Cover. He has a .259 ISO against LHP this season with a 38% hard-hit%. Moore has been the person to target over the last month. He’s allowed a slate high 45% flyball rate and 1.16hr/9 to RHHs. Oakland will roll out a lineup full of RHHs. Good luck today Mr. Moore.
Jake Marisnick (HOU) OF
We call this one a heat check. Marisnick has a .281 ISO and a 54% Fly ball % against LHPs. Tyler Skaggs has only allowed 1 homer this season, but since last season he has allowed 1.26HR/9 to RHHS with a 37% hard contact%. BONUS: Marisnick is 4-4 against Skaggs with one homer.
Max Kepler (MIN) OF
Yankee stadium is a great hitter park and the Twins roll into tonight with RHP Masahiro Tanaka. Max Kepler owns a .367 ISO and a 33% hard-hit% of the last 2 weeks.
Miquel Sano (MIN) 3B
Same stadium as Kepler, Sano obviously gets the upgrade too. Tanaka allowed 1.9HR/9 to RHHs last 2 seasons and a 32% hard contact rate.
Kike Hernandez (LAD) 3B
Some reason, Hernandez has been a 1B, 2B, OF and now a 3B on Fanduel. I guess it’s their site , they can put him wherever seems fit. Anyhow a player with a .311 ISO against a split will always be inconsideration. RHP Jarlin Garcia has only allowed 0.88hr/9 to RHHs, but a 43% flyball rate.
Day Early Dongs
Mike Zunino (SEA) C
Should have known better than to put a starting catcher on the Sunday DD. Oh well, now Zunino will get a better matchup against RHP Carson Fulmer. Fulmer allows a career 1.5hr/9 and will easily be the pitcher to attack tonight.
Team Dong Stack
The Mariners get the matchup against RHP Carson Fulmer. Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz, Kyle Seager and Mitch Haniger, who has a MASSIVE .356 ISO and a 41% hard hit % against RHP. Seattle Stacks for all!
