Welcome back to the DFS Army’s flagship NFL podcast “Geek’s Vegas Lines for Fanduel and Draftkings” where Kevin, Mitch, and Choppodong discuss the more relevant plays for this week’s NFL slate. Kevin is the founder and CEO of the DFS Army, and is also ranked in both MMA and NFL on Rotogrinders for you DFSers out there. Mitch is also ranked in NFL and has hit the ground running in the Army with a numbers-focused coaching style. Chop, well………Chop is chop. The notorious smallaballa and everyman, Chop’s niche seems to be providing off color humor at the wrong times, throwing these guys off their games, and generally keeping everyone in the Army grounded from our 5-star generals to our newest privates by focusing on the fundamentals of construction and bankroll management.

DFS Army Week 6 Rewind
@huntersinclair qualifies for the live finals in Key West! This will be his second consecutive year representing the DFS Army at a live final.
We also had quite a few winners in the DFS Army from those doubling their bankrolls to those going triple and beyond. By following our recommendations, seeking advice within our VIP slack community, and directly interacting with our coaches, Army members are having another year of success as we approach the midway mark of NFL. This is a look back at some of our bigger wins from week 6.

Week 7 NFL Games to Accompany the Podcast
- I enjoy playing these games/slates now that the other primetime games are being separated off onto their own slates.
- I worry about KC and their short week. But, OAK’s defense is pretty bad.
- Do you see those numbers vs WR1 and WR2? I keep telling people KC is a bend but don’t break defense. Do we like Michael Crabtree?
- Lots of bad games this week. So bad this is one of the “juicier” ones.
- Are we targeting CLE defense with everyone this week?
- The TEN secondary is bad, but can we target anyone from CLE here?

- I’m kind of shocked JAX is only a 3 point road favorite. I don’t like this game total.
- Leonard Fournette is chalk, but darned pricey.
- We don’t attack the JAX secondary this year, but is Jacoby Brissett still viable?
- Another low total. This one under 40.
- Does Joe Flacco make it through the season?
- MIN defense looks to be in a good spot, but does Flacco throw enough or deep enough anymore to make big mistakes?
- Another brutal game. 38.5….this is going the wrong direction.
- Could this game be where two bad teams meet up and blow the doors off?
- The DvP numbers have a lot of green in them.
- Another pretty ugly game.
- Tampa faces a tough paper defense this year. I can’t imagine anyone being exciting here.
- Tampa also has a bad defense and tends to go M.I.A. Do we like Tyrod Taylor? Who will he throw to?
- Yet another exciting game total of 40. At least we may have bottomed out with the bad games.
- CHI isn’t terribad on defense. Do we consider Cam Newton in anything but GPPs? What about huge Ed Dickson?
- I don’t know the CAR defense’s road splits, but is it even worth looking up given the CHI situation?
- People seem high on this game. Is it because it’s all we have? Or, is there something statistically there I’m not seeing?
- Drew Brees on road…..nuff said.
- Backup QB with Aaron Rodgers done. Now, with RB committee, who can we trust?
- Division game. Decent total.
- With Adrian Peterson having great game, of course people will chase points. Should they, though? This also cuts into Carson Palmer’s volume if they use a lot of AP/AD.
- Todd Gurley is hitting high on radars this week, but ARI can apparently defend the run. GPP only?
- DAL on road, so not exactly what we look for. But, this week, we take what we get.
- Ezekiel Elliott for one more game at least. Running backs tend to help running QBs. Do we trust Dak Prescott in cash on the road?
- DAL allows QBs to put up points. Do we dare?…
- Back to the muck with a 41 point total. Another division game, too. Donuts probably has numbers for their first game.
- Lots of red on both sides of this chart, and an ugly total. I think this game is a fade. We’ll see if the boys agree.
- 40 seems to be the lucky number this week.
- SEA defense is hitting high on projections. Which do we factor heavier? Going across the country, or playing the crapstorm Giants?
- If this SEA defense falls flat, who is doing the damage? Eli Manning probably throwing high volume again. Evan Engram?
- Good Lord with these low 40s totals! I hate this week, honestly. Another division rivalry.
- Trevor Siemien (can we just take the “i’s” out of his name and call him semen?) quietly put up 376 yards passing. Emmanuel Sanders sits. How does this effect DeMaryius Thomas? More volume? Double coverage?
- Standard rule applies…..no Philip Rivers or receivers. But, can DEN shut down Melvin Gordon? (Game 1 stats, Mitch)
- Huge total. I ranted on The Wishbone about how I hate Draftkings for taking these games away from us. Lots of goodies here.
- Can I get Geek to rap some House of Pain DFS style?
- Tom Brady appears to be the safest QB on this slate when we look at checking boxes. Thoughts?
- Who are we looking at for a Primetime slate perspective?
- Solid game makes the Primetime slate intriguing if you like the 2 game luckbox fests. I might have to throw darts this week, though.
- Looks like these are two more chalky QBs in Kirk Cousins and Carson Wentz. I have them both on my season long team. Gun to head…….Geek? Mitch?
- Outside of Chris Thompson, are we playing any RBs on a main slate? Or just the primetime slates?
