Full Court Press:

Golden State Warriors @ Charlotte Hornets

Vegas Total: 210.5

Vegas Spread: CHAR -3.0

Starting with the Warriors, the big news here is that Draymond Green will play tonight, so he’s a great option here as he’ll run the point and is still underpriced. Ky Bowman will be relegated back to the bench so he’s not in play for me here tonight. Alec Burks is also in play here, as the Hornets don’t play much defense either, and if his shot is falling he has a nice 40+ FP ceiling. I like this game quite a bit from a DFS side since I don’t see a whole lot of defense being played. Eric Paschall continues to see big minutes and the Hornets have struggled against opposing big men on the season. Finally, Glenn Robinson and Willie Cauley-Stein make for fine GPP options as well.

From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham is the guy you want on this team right now as he has been Mr. Consistency. The same can be said for Terry Rozier as he is averaging 31.6 Draftkings points per game on the season. Miles Bridges has 28+ Draftkings points in three straight and makes sense in this price range while PJ Washington is more of a GPP option along with the rest of this team. This whole Hornets team gets a favorable matchup here, as neither team really plays defense and it should be a pretty fast paced game.

5-star plays: Devonte’ Graham, Draymond Green

4-star plays: Terry Rozier, PJ Washington, Alec Burks, Eric Paschall

Deeper Value: Miles Bridges, PJ Washington

GPP Sleeper: Alec Burks, Miles Bridges, PJ Washington, Eric Paschall

Milwaukee Bucks @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total: 225.5

Vegas Spread: MIL -8.5

From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a usage rate of over 35% and is averaging over 60 Fantasy points per game this season. He should be able to do whatever he wants in this matchup and probably the best raw points option on the slate. Brook Lopez is probable for this game, so looks like our Robin Lopez value option is over for the time being. Khris Middleton’s minutes just aren’t there yet, I’ll wait until they’re back to where they should be. Eric Bledsoe is not in great form, I’ll wait for him to get back to his usual self, he’s normally a very streaky player. Lastly, Donte DiVincenzo continues to put up solid games, you could do worse in this price range. If you think it gets out of hand here, Pat Connaughton is a nice deep GPP option as he commands the usage on the 2nd unit.

From the Pistons, this is a tough matchup, as the Bucks are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. I don’t have a good amount of interest in Andre Drummond or Blake Griffin as they both have tough matchups and are on the 2nd half of a B2B. Luke Kennard has been a bit all over the place as of late, that said he’s getting a ton of minutes against a team that is worse against the guard position. Derrick Rose has a 33.5% usage rate off the bench and the spot that the Bucks have struggled a bit against this year in the PG position. If he plays on the B2B he’s firmly in play here.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez

Deeper Value: Luke Kennard, George Hill, Robin Lopez (if Brook sits)

GPP Sleeper: George Hill, Pat Connaughton, Derrick Rose

Phoenix Suns @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: 213.5

Vegas Spread: PHX -1.5

Starting with the Suns, Devin Booker is the most expensive guy on the team but this is due to the ceiling he has, not his floor. In a matchup against a good defensive team however, I find him hard to roster as this isn’t one of his ceiling matchups. However, if you’re looking for safety at a position/salary Ricky Rubio has been the far more consistent player this season, although in bad form right now after returning from injury, keep an eye on him as he’s a GTD right now. Kelly Oubre is a guy that I like to get to in GPPs because of his massive ceiling, and he would see a solid boost if Rubio was to sit out this game. Dario Saric has been playing really well, but with Baynes back it’s tough to go there as he’ll split minutes with Kaminsky. Finally, Aron Baynes is a fine mid-range center option as he is probable here.

This is one of the lower paced games on the night, so you could get away with fading here if you wanted to. From the Magic, Jonathan Isaac gets a great matchup here, and the Magic rely on him defensively and on FanDuel he’s always in play with his ability to rack up those peripheral stats, but you can go with him with Nikola Vucevic still out, however, Aaron Gordon being back does take away some of his usage. Evan Fournier is playing a ton of minutes lately and really playing good basketball, he’s been scoring a ton lately without Vuc and they’ll need him to do so again tonight in what should be a pace up game for the Magic. Markelle Fultz is now getting a consistent 30ish minutes, I don’t hate it if you happen to land on him. Mo Bamba isn’t going to play a ton of minutes but he’s a pretty efficient fantasy producer. There are a few pieces here that I like.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Jonathan Isaac, Evan Fournier, Devin Booker, Ricky Rubio, Markelle Fultz, Aaron Gordon

Deeper Value: Markelle Fultz, Dario Saric, Frank Kaminsky

GPP Sleeper: Mo Bamba, Markelle Fultz

Miami Heat @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: 210

Vegas Spread: BOS -6

From the Heat, Jimmy Butler is going to be the premier play on the Heat, I like this matchup for him he should be able to stuff the stat sheet and even with Winslow back he’s still going to have the ball in his hands a ton and he always gets up for big games like this against a tough Celtics team. He’s never more than 10% owned either and I like him a lot even on a B2B as the Heat have been playing everyone tough. Bam Adebayo has been playing really well, and gets a nice boost against a weak Celtics interior.  Kelly Olynyk, Justise Winslow, Kendrick Nunn, and Tyler Herro are all in play here, especially if Dragic is out again tonight. Winslow would see the biggest boost if Dragic is out.

From Boston, Kemba Walker looked great coming back after missing one game, he’s still way too cheap on FanDuel at $7,700, so he’s a borderline core play for me once again until they get his price right.  Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have been playing pretty good but I would prefer Brown as he seems more consistent at this point even with Kemba back. Marcus Smart is doubtful for this game as well, which would be a boost to Brown the most along with Tatum. Daniel Theis is way too cheap here at $3,900 as he’s been a solid FPPM guy and has been starting over Enes Kanter. He’s only in play for me if he starts though.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler, Kemba Walker

4-star play: Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Bam Adebayo

Deeper Value: Justise Winslow, Tyler Herro, Kelly Olynyk

GPP Sleeper: Justise Winslow, Tyler Herro, Daniel Theis (if he starts)

Brooklyn Nets @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 227

Vegas Spread: BKN -3.0

For the Nets side of the ball, Kyrie Irving will be out again here which will make Spencer Dinwiddie again a very viable play although his price is getting up there. He’s just so consistent and gets massive usage with Kyrie out, I like him in what is a really good matchup for him against Trae Young, who is still very turnover prone so an additional steal or two isn’t out of the question here. Jarrett Allen is coming off another really good game, and just put up a 60 burger a few games ago, but also saw his price skyrocket, he’s only in play if DeAndre Jordan is out again and even then it’s a bit of a steep price for me. Joe Harris is in play for GPPs but I don’t love the matchup. Taurean Prince is very volatile but makes a lot of sense for GPPs with Kyrie still out.

From the Hawks, it’s really two guys for me, Trae Young and Jabari Parker. Trae Young is finally priced where he should be at over $10k, and he has a massive usage rate. Jabari has struggled ever since going bonkers against the Bucks, I like this as a solid spot for him, as the Nets really struggle against opposing front courts. Lastly, De’Andre Hunter is doubtful for this game, which gives a boost to Cam Reddish and DeAndre Bembry as Crabbe has also already been ruled out. If Huerter is ruled out again, both of those guys will play huge minutes at low price tags.

5-star play: Spencer Dinwiddie, Trae Young, Jabari Parker

4-star play: Jarrett Allen (if Jordan sits)

Deeper Value: Joe Harris, Taurean Prince, DeAndre Bembry, Cam Reddish

GPP Sleeper: DeAndre Bembry, Cam Reddish

Memphis Grizzlies @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 222.5

Vegas Spread: CHI -5.5

From the Grizzlies, Ja Morant will be out for a few weeks which vaults Tyus Jones into the starting point guard role for this team. Tyus Jones will start once again, but his price is starting to catch up a little, but he’s still way too cheap on FanDuel. Just as Jonas Valanciunas was starting to get real minutes and smashing his opponents he gets hit with a questionable tag as he’s still dealing with an illness again tonight. If he misses again, guys like Brandon Clarke and Bruno Caboclo will see extended run. Jaren Jackson and Jae Crowder are GPP options to round out this game.

Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine is playing on another level right now and has 47+ fantasy points in two of his last four, and the Grizzlies of new really don’t play much defense, he’s an elite play here. I don’t love the price on Wendell Carter Jr., but you could do worse as a mid-range center option, especially if JoVal is out again tonight as the Grizzlies won’t have the size to matchup with him. Lauri Markkanen just feels too expensive for the production he is putting up right now. Tomas Satoransky is playing great basketball as of late and makes sense here. Finally, Colby White will likely be in my GPP player pool all season.

5-star play: Zach LaVine

4-star play: Tyus Jones, Wendell Carter Jr., Jonas Valanciunas (if he plays), Lauri Markkanen

Deeper Value: Coby White, Tomas Satoransky

GPP Sleeper: Coby White, Tomas Satoransky

Indiana Pacers @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 209.5

Vegas Spread: PK

Starting with the Pacers, this is a good spot for both Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis who have been two of the more consistent fantasy options all season long. Jeremy Lamb continues to play big minutes, I like him as a secondary option in all formats. TJ Warren is actually showing some consistency as of late, that said, I know what we’re getting into with him and I don’t like the price tag. Myles Turner isn’t in the best of form, and he has a tough matchup down low against Adams, so I’m not too high on him here, especially with this low total.

From the Thunder, it’s tough not to like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, however, he is not in good form, he has had a tough go the past week or so, but I think he can bounce back in a game like this at very low ownership. Chris Paul is going to get you 35-45 FanDuel points on most nights and makes sense here as a cash option, but his price is just a little too high for me. Both Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams are also in play here given. The problem is that Gallinari is very scoring dependent, and I like the matchup more for Adams, as he’ll be playing hard on defense against Turner. With the low total here, I’m not going out of my way to play guys here.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Domantas Sabonis

Deeper Value: Steven Adams

GPP Sleeper: Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 229

Vegas Spread: DAL -4.5

This game has a nice total, so targeting guys in this game could turn out to be very profitable as this game should be pretty competitive as well. From the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns now has over 50 FanDuel points in 4 of his last 6 and is coming off a down game against the Grizzlies where he wasn’t really needed that much. He should be able to do whatever he wants in this game, he’s an elite play. Andrew Wiggins has been a different player this year, so much that he is now running the point for the Wolves relegating Jeff Teague to coming off the bench, I like him for GPPs here. As I said Jeff Teague was moved to the bench last game, but I think this helps his usage and will still see good minutes, love him for GPPs as Dallas isn’t great at defending PGs.  Jarrett Culver, Josh Okogie, and Gorgui Dieng are all deep GPP plays on a 10 game slate as well.

Starting with the Mavericks, it’s really two guys here for me, Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis will be the lower owned of the two, but Luka is an elite play even at his elevated price tag. I expect both of these guys to show out here tonight, even on the 2nd half of a B2B. Porzingis should play here as well, as he didn’t play much last night as he was dealing with foul trouble all game long. If you have to go anywhere else on the Mavericks, Tim Hardaway Jr. is in play if he continues to start, but he is very scoring dependent, but the Wolves have been struggling at defending guards this year.

5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns, Luka Doncic

4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Kristaps Porzingis

Deeper Value: Jeff Teague, Tim Hardaway Jr.

GPP Sleeper: Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Okogie

Los Angeles Lakers @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 209.5

Vegas Spread: UTA -2.5

From the Lakers, it’s really just LeBron James and Anthony Davis for me. Both have usage rates above 30% with this Lakers team and they both also have elite ceilings, if you have the salary for either of them do it. However, I’m tending to lean that this will be more of a LeBron game as he AD draws a pretty difficult matchup down low against Gobert. This game has the lowest total on the slate once again, so I’m not going out of my way to play guys from this game unless its LeBron.

Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell has been shooting the ball really well, but in a slower paced game like this I’m not going out of my way to play him. Rudy Gobert is in play here as well, but he draws a difficult matchup against AD downlow and I see those two battling it out defensively, making each of them better plays on FanDuel. . Bojan Bogdanovic finally had a bit of an off game but has been one of the more consistent options on this team, he’s in play as well, if his shot is falling he’s going to be deadly, as the Lakers have struggled a bit to guard the perimeter. I’ll save Mike Conley for GPPs along with Joe Ingles for some value.

5-star play: LeBron James

4-star play: Anthony Davis, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert

Deeper Value: Joe Ingles, Royce O’Neale, Rajon Rondo

GPP Sleeper: Joe Ingles, Rajon Rondo

Sacramento Kings @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 218

Vegas Spread: POR -4.5

From the Kings, Buddy Hield is the boom-or-bust guy on this team, but he plays massive amounts of minutes which keeps him in play for me. Bogdan Bogdanovic is considered questionable for this game but just doesn’t feel healthy right now, as he’s been carrying that tag with his hamstring for over a week now. Richaun Holmes gets a positive matchup here, as the Trailblazers have been bleeding points to opposing bigs all year long, he’s firmly in play for GPPs. You can also throw Nemanja Bjelica and Harrison Barnes in that category as well, especially if Bogdanovic is out.

This game has a decent total for the night, so we’ll want to target it as the hammer game as well as it should be relatively close according to Vegas. Damian Lillard is obviously your number one option from the Trailblazers, but he draws a difficult matchup as Cory Joseph has been playing some great defense for this Kings team, but he’s firmly in play here. This puts C.J. McCollum squarely in play as they’ll need his scoring as well in order to keep pace in this game. He also plays a little with the second unit so Dame doesn’t completely take away his usage. Hassan Whiteside also is firmly in play here, as the Kings are pretty mediocre against bigs this year. It’s just going to depend on whether or not he feels like showing up tonight, as is his calling card.

5-star play: Buddy Hield, Damian Lillard

4-star play: C.J. McCollum, Richaun Holmes, Bogdan Bogdanovic,  Hassan Whiteside

Deeper Value: Anfernee Simons, Cory Joseph

GPP Sleeper: Anfernee Simons, Skal Labissiere, Cory Joseph
