Welcome to the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press. Here we will break down every game of the day for you to help get you started on your research each day. We’ll cover everything from Vegas Lines to Injury situations for each team on the slate each morning. The goal here will be to provide you with a solid base to start your research from each day. NBA Full Court Press for Saturday, March 16th

Both of these teams are on the 2nd night of a back to back but that’s not going to really scare me away from either of them here. This game has an elite game environment with a 232.5 total any the Pelicans only favored by 1 point.
For the Suns, the top target is usually Devin Booker and tonight is no different. This is a great game to target him and he’s in play in all formats tonight. Troy Daniels started last night with Tyler Johnson out but he didn’t play much only playing 15 minutes. He’s not really in play here for me outside of a drop score option. Mikal Bridges is more interesting as he played 37 minutes with Johnson out so I’ll have more interest in him if Johnson misses again. DeAndre Ayton’s price has been dropping because he hasn’t been putting up huge fantasy points games recently. However, the Pelicans allow 5% more fantasy points to Centers than the league average so this is a great time to jump on him tonight.
Jrue Holiday is out for the Pelicans again tonight and we’re expecting Anthony Davis to play. With Holiday out we can target Elf Payton again and he’s been playing great recently. Over his last 5 games, he has averaged 33 minutes and 39.6 fantasy points. He’s a better play on DK only priced at 6,900 vs 8,100 on FD tonight. Julius Randle smashed last night scoring 45 real points and 75.2 fantasy points. If Anthony Davis plays tonight Randle will get a little less usage but we only expect Davis to play 20 minutes or so which means Randle is still in play here.

Memphis Grizzlies 110.8 at Washington Wizards 113.3

This is a solid PACE UP matchup for the Grizzlies today. I love to target slow-paced teams like the Grizzlies when they get this extreme pace up matchups like this. That being said Mike Conley is one of my favorite plays today here vs the Wizards. This season the Wizards have a 111 defensive efficiency rating and allow 5% more fantasy points to point guards than the league average. Conley should have a great game here. Jonas Valanciunas and Joakim Noah are my next two targets here as the Wizards are pretty awful vs Centers this year. Valanciunas has more raw fantasy point upside but Noah is a much better value here only priced at 5,000 on Fanduel. Avery Bradley tanked last night while CJ Miles was on fire. These two along with Delon Wright are in play for me today in this matchup.
On the Wizards side of the ball, there are far fewer options for me today. The Grizzlies are one of the top defensive teams in the league thanks to their slow pace of play. Bradley Beal is always worth considering even in tough matchups and he’s been on fire recently. Over his last 5 games, he is averaging 54.1 fantasy points in 42 minutes per game. Everyone else on the Wizards is a GPP only target for me tonight

Not a ton to love here as this game has a pretty low 215.5 total on this slate. Kevin Love is going to be my top target if I decide to target anyone at all on the Cavs side of the ball. He’s been playing well since returning from injury averaging 35.2 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games. Colin Sexton has picked up his play as well and he’s now playing 35 minutes per game and averaging 30.8 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games. Cedi Osman and Jordan Clarkson would be GPP options for me here.
For the Mavericks we can target Luak Doncic in pretty much any matchup and today is no different. The Cavs are awful defensively with a 114 defensive efficiency rating and they allow 7% more fantasy points to shooting guards than the league average. Doncic has averaged 49.1 fantasy points over his last 5 games and this is an elite matchup for him today. Dwight Powell and Jalen Brunson find themselves in similarly elite spots today vs the Cavs. Both have been hot averaging over 30 fantasy points per game and each has been playing 35 minutes per game as well. Tim Hardway Jr, Maxi Kleber, and Dorian Finney Smith can provide you with some value if you decide to go this route as well.

Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder

No total yet on this game and we just got news that Kevin Durant will be OUT for the Warriors. I expect this game to have the highest total on the slate and the Durant news is going to lead to some high ownership for Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. With KD out Steph Curry has a 34% usage rate which leads the team DeMarcus Cousins and Klay Thompson are 2nd and 3rd at 32% and 31%. All 3 are great plays here without Durant. Klay has been the hottest Warrior as of late, averaging 43.6 fantasy points over his last 5 games. I think he’ll be a nice pivot off Curry who will likely be higher owned. Draymond Green would be a secondary target for me and Andre Iguodala will be a solid value play with Durant off the floor.
For the Thunder, everything has been running through Russell Westbrook lately. The team overall has been slumping a little losing 6 of their last 10 games but this matchup is elite for Russ nonetheless. He has scored 65 and 66 fantasy point in his last 2 games and you know he’s gonna bring that energy again tonight in this matchup. Paul George has been playing well recently scoring 50+ in his last two games. I don’t think he is quite right just yet after that shoulder injury but he’s still in play here as he can go for 60+ fantasy points in any matchup. Steven Adams and Jerami Grant round out the guys I’m interested in for the Thunder. Both will play 30+ minutes in what should be a competitive game.

Portland Trail Blazers 112.3 at San Antonio Spurs 114.3

The Blazers big 3 of Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, and Jusuk Nurkic is where most of my interest will be for the Blazers. Over their last 5 games, they have averaged 46, 35 and 40 fantasy points respectively. Enes Kanter, Al Farouq Aminu and Moe Harkless can provide some salary relief if you need it. If Moe Harkless is out again Rodney Hood is a great drop score value priced around min price on both sites.
On the Spurs side, the top two targets are DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge. Both are scoring over 43 fantasy points per game over their last 5 and I expect both to put up a similar score tonight. Jakob Poeltl has been picking up solid minutes since Pau Gasol was released. Over his last 5 games, he is averaging 25 minutes and 27 fantasy points per game. Derrick White is a nice ping-pong play with Lillard and he’s been averaging 34.8 fantasy points over his last 5 games. Rudy Gay is a solid mid-tier price play here as well and the Blazers allow 7% more fantasy points to small forwards than the league average.

Indiana Pacers 103.8 at Denver Nuggets 111.3

The Pacers are in a difficult spot today and their Vegas numbers back that up. A tough road game in Denver isn’t easy for any team and the Pacers 103.8 implied total is the lowest of any team on the slate today. All of the Pacers are GPP targets only here in this matchup. Myles Turner leads the team and has averaged 39 fantasy points per game over his last 5. Darren Collison is 2nd with a 34.6 average followed by Bojan Bogdanovic. The Pacers are team that plays very balanced to its tough to target any of their players too heavily in a tough matchup like this.
With Denver you know we can always target Nikola Jokic as he’s got 60 point upside in any matchup. I probably won’t go here tonight but he’s a great “pay up to be contrarian” option as most will likely choose to go another direction. Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap and Will Barton are my next three favorites if I chose to target any Nuggets. Millsap broke the slate a few days ago with a 50 burger but that’s not the norm for him. Still, you can expect a solid outing almost nightly but expect him in the 30-35 range. If you’re looking for value Monte Morris who busted hard the other night is still only 4,300 on Fanduel. We’ve seen plenty of upside from him and he’s a GPP solid target here for me. Another solid value could be Gary Harris who is simply too talented to be priced under 5,000.

Brooklyn Nets 106.3 at Utah Jazz 114.8

Tough matchup here for the Nets and they are currently projected to score about 6 points fewer than their season average. DeAngelo Russell has the highest usage rate and fp/min on the team and is currently priced under 8,000 on Fanduel. He’s got big time upside at that price and will be a solid tourney target here. Spencer Dinwiddie has been playing well averaging 34.7 fantasy points per game over his last 5. The matchup is not ideal but he’s a solid tourney target as well. The Nets are full of guys priced around 5,000 who can fill out our tourney teams. With Joe Harris, Caris LeVert, Rodinus Kurucs and Jarrett Allen. No cash plays here all tourney targets for me.
For the Jazz, I’ll be targeting Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Derrick Favors. Gobert and Mitchell have been scoring 40+ fantasy points per game over their last 5 while Favors has been pitching in 32 of his own. All 3 are solid plays here vs the Nets. Rick Rubio, Joe Ingle, Jae Crowder are all mid tier priced options who are all GPP options for me in this one.
