Kickin it on the Pitch w/ TreyJ – Gameweek 25 EPL DFS for Fanduel & Draftkings

Is there anything better in DFS than a midweek sweat in soccer?  You’ve got 2 hours of intense action and then it’s over.  Hopefully, you ran well.  There are plenty of ways to go with this slate.  Let’s have some fun.  Before we get to the good stuff, though, let me tell you about my team, the DFS Army.

NFL DFS is pretty much over, but NBA continues to be very lucrative with winners every night in the army. We have had nine 5 or 6 figure wins in the last 3 months.  We have only strengthened our offering and we did it for you.  The best aspect of your subscription continues to be the ever so popular slack chat where you have access to industry pros and specific DFS coaches. That is where the magic happens. Use promo code GOAL for 10% off your lifetime subscription ($36/mo after discount) and start taking your DFS game to the next level! You will get more here, for less, than anywhere else.

If you are still wary and wish to try before you buy, check out these options that could get you a free month of the DFS Army! You won’t be disappointed. The testimonials on our home page speak for themselves.

That said… Welcome to gameweek 25.

Chelsea v Bournemouth

This match makes the column not only because of the high total but also because of history.  We can learn from history.  These teams average 2.83 goals per match over their last 6 tilts.  Now, Chelsea is struggling to find themselves but this does look to be a spot where they can salvage 3 points. If Eden Hazard is starting up top, I do like his prospects.  Chelsea has lacked finishing ability, and while they are searching for reinforcements, Hazard did provide a bit of a spark the last time he started in that position.  Luckily for him, Bournemouth is a team where you can run at the defense.  He can be cash viable.  If someone else starts at striker, they are only GPP worthy.

Everton v Leicester

I am all for this game. Over their last 6 matches, they have averaged 3.23 goals per match.  Gimme gimme gimme!  Everton has been struggling to score lately and Leicester is on a 3 game clean sheet streak.  Take your shots in GPP, but for cash, stick to the Leicester side of things.  Before we get to my cash play, there is one thing to watch for as lineups come out. Riyad Mahrez has asked for a transfer and Chelsea is interested.  Keep an eye on the situation.  I like Mahrez, but if he is sat in preparation for a deadline deal, I am moving to Marc Albrighton.

You may notice that there is no third game here.  7 games on the slate and you give us 2 breakdowns? The third game would be our weekly City check-in.  I am fading Aguero.  I’m glad I rostered him last week, but this week I’m about Raheem Sterling.

Best of the Rest

This is the part of the show where we highlight some cash plays for the games we didn’t really get a chance to talk about or the best cash plays left on the slate.

  • Shane Long, SOU – Brighton has given up a lot of shots to forwards and they have given up a lot of goals, overall, in recent games.

  • JBG, BUR – He figures to cross a lot from open play and Burnley is a resilient team on the road.  If they go down early, I expect him to get busy.

  • Darryl Janmaat, WAT – He is a solid (steady) option at defender and playable in all formats.

Between the Sticks

Here are my choices for GPP Goalkeeper.  If you are a regular reader of mine, then you know I like going for the saves.

  1. David De Gea, MUN – Here’s a name not normally seen in the section.  Tottenham shoots a ton and Man U will cede some possession.  How good will that Man U defense be? GPP only.

  1. Nick Pope, BUR – Pretty sure he is a permanent fixture in my article but there is a good reason for that.  Any format.

.

  1. Jack Butland, STK – Watford has an entire squad on the injury report and they just got their manager fired.  I don’t think this is a quality spot for them on the road against Butland.

If you read this article and you said “Wow, these stats are cool. I didn’t know that before.”, then know that they are only the tip of the iceberg and there is so much more inside our VIP team sheets.  You will find massive stats and our new defense-by-position chart, as well as my player picks, and more.  Join us and take your game to the next level. See you in slack and good luck in your contests!
