PITCHERS:

Clayton Kershaw (@PHI)
His pitch count has been increasing with each start- somewhere around 100 pitches tonight is certainly within reason… Dodgers are -350 favorites, a number that is ridiculous (in a good way) for a road team… Kershaw’s K-upside is certainly the best on this slate

Patrick Corbin (@SD)
Padres are really struggling with the bats right now, not one of their hitters has a .300 avg over the last seven days… Corbin’s last start against the Padres was an absolute disaster (11 H/3 BB, 8 ER over 4.1 innings), but I think he’ll do fine against a team that is currently in a huge funk

Jameson Taillon (vs MIL)
Strikeouts, strikeouts, strikeouts… Only faced MIL once this season and struck out 8 in 5.1 innings

Dylan Bundy (vs BOS)
Terrible strikeout numbers (hasn’t allowed a ton of damage) against the Red Sox this season, but his opponent does have the largest IRT decrease (-0.4) and this game does have a total of 9, which is quite low for Camden Yards

Dan Straily (vs NYM)
1.74 ERA in two starts against the Mets this season… Very affordable ($7500 DK/6900 FD)… He has been the sacrificial lamb over these last few starts, but the Mets lineup is just not very good nowadays

CATCHERS:

Austin Barnes (@PHI)
Usually only starts against lefties, but it appears Dave Roberts looked at the splits vs Pivetta!

Wellington Castillo (vs BOS)
Hitting the ball hard lately and gets a favorable matchup against a bad pitcher in Fister

Christian Vazquez (@BAL)
6-for-16, 2 XBH (1 HR) over the last five games… 4-for-10, 1 XBH vs Bundy

James McCann (vs OAK)
5-for-15, 2 XBH over the last five games

Chris Iannetta (@SD)
7-for-19, 2 XBH over the last five games

Manny Pina (@PIT)
7-for-18, 1 XBH, 3 RBI, 4 runs over the last six games

FIRST BASEMEN:

Paul Goldschmidt (@SD)
8-for-17,4 XBH (3 HR) vs Perdomo

Cody Bellinger (@PHI)
8-for-20, 4 XBH (2 HR), 5 RBI, 6 runs over the last six games

Matt Olson (@DET)
6 HR, 10 RBI over the last six games

Greg Bird, Chase Headley (vs MIN)
* Bird: Hits for a lot of power at the bottom of the Yanks lineup… 2-for-3, 2 HR vs Santana
* Headley: Not hitting for a ton of power, but doing a great job of getting on base

Chris Davis (vs BOS)
6-for-18, 2 HR vs Fister

Wil Myers (vs ARZ)
8-for-17, 3 XBH (1 HR) vs Corbin

Joe Mauer (@NYY)
9-for-25, 3 XBH (1 HR), 8 RBI over the last six games

Dominic Smith (@MIA)
6-for-19, 4 XBH (2 HR), 6 RBI over the last six games

Tomas Telis (vs NYM)
Batting second at a very affordable price against a struggling pitcher in Harvey

SECOND BASEMEN:

Brian Dozier (@NYY)
Always dangerous against lefties… 8-for-25, 3 XBH (2 HR), 5 runs over the last six games

Jed Lowrie (@DET)
6-for-16, 4 XBH (1 HR), 4 RBI, 4 runs over the last five games

Chase Utley (@PHI)
Homecoming back to Philly… 4-for-11, 4 XBH (1 HR) over the last four games

Neil Walker (@PIT)
Another homecoming story, but Walker is actually from Pittsburgh

Dee Gordon (vs NYM)
6-for-13, all singles vs Harvey… Immense SB ability

Yangervis Solarte (vs ARZ)
6-for-14, 1 XBH vs Corbin

THIRD BASEMEN:

Nick Castellanos, Jeimer Candelario (vs OAK)
* Castellanos: 11-for-27, 7 XBH (2 HR), 7 RBI over the last seven games
* Candelario: 9-for-23, .500 OBP, 3 XBH (2 HR), 6 RBI, 8 runs over the last seven games

Justin Turner (@PHI)
Pivetta’s reverse splits favor Turner… .429 OBP, 4 XBH (1 HR) over the last six games

Manny Machado, Pedro Alvarez (vs BOS)
* Machado: 4-for-11, 2 HR vs Fister
* Alvarez: 6-for-10, 2 HR vs Fister

Asdrubal Cabrera (@MIA)
10-for-18, 4 XBH (1 HR), 4 RBI over the last six games

Todd Frazier (vs MIN)
3 HR, 9 RBI, 6 runs over the last six games

Jake Lamb (@SD)
5-for-16, 4 XBH (2 HR) vs Perdomo

Jordy Mercer (vs MIL)
Batting leadoff for the Pirates against a lefty, only $2100 on FD

7-for-20, 3 XBH (1 HR) vs Bundy

Freddy Galvis (vs LAD)
4-for-7, all singles vs Kershaw

OUTFIELDERS:

JD Martinez, AJ Pollock (@SD)
* Martinez: 10-for-23, 6 XBH (3 HR), 6 RBI, 8 runs over the last six games
* Pollock: 9-for-23, 6 XBH (1 HR), 10 RBI over the last six games

Eddie Rosario, Byron Buxton (@NYY)
* Rosario: 10-for-24, 6 XBH (5 HR), 7 RBI, 7 runs over the last six games
* Buxton: 9-for-23, 4 XBH (2 HR) over the last six games

Yasiel Puig, Curtis Granderson (@PHI)
* Puig: Pivetta’s reverse splits favor Puig… 9-for-26, 5 XBH (2 HR) over the last six games
* Granderson: Only $2500 on FD… Good history and swing for Citizens Bank Park

Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, Jackie Bradley (@BAL)
* Betts: 3 HR, 9 RBI over the six games… 5-for-20, 2 HR vs Bundy
* Benintendi: 8-for-24, 4 XBH, 6 RBI over the last five games
* Bradley: 5-for-15, 1 HR vs Bundy

Marcell Ozuna (vs NYM)
7-for-20, 2 XBH vs Harvey

Trey Mancini, Seth Smith, Austin Hays (vs BOS)
* Mancini: 10-for-28, 5 XBH (1 HR) over the last seven games
* Smith: 2-for-14, 2 HR, only 1 strikeout vs Fister
* Hays: Just called up recently, 2 hits in each of his last two games… Great value play ($2300 FD)

Rhys Hoskins (vs LAD)
DEEP tourney play, but this will be a fun matchup to watch as he goes against Kershaw
