Draymond Green Declares LeBron James as NBA GOAT Over Michael Jordan

The never-ending debate rages on.  This time with NBA veteran Draymond Green weighing in and making his choice.

As heard on UNINTERRUPTED’s “Throwing Bones,” the Golden State Warriors forward said, “By 2005, LeBron was the best player in the NBA. In 2020, he was still the best player in the NBA. He was the best player in the NBA no matter what the game did.”

According to Draymond, it is LeBron’s ability to constantly adapt to an ever-evolving game along with his longevity and dominance producing the key factors in his decision.

“When you look at the teams that LeBron has carried to championships or carried to the Finals. MJ didn’t beat the greatest team ever assembled. Nor did he run up against the greatest team ever assembled every year,” Green continued.

NBA Fans’ Debate vs Draymond Green Opinion?

Many NBA fans love to debate LeBron vs MJ, but rarely is anyone today including a third or fourth.  Jordan supporters cite his undefeated string of championships and innate competitiveness often willing his team to victory by seemingly flipping a switch.  LeBron James fans will often point to “The King” being less than 1,000 points away from becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

No matter your side, it’s clear in 2022, these GOATs are #1 and #2.  And, Draymond Green laid out some pretty decent points for his choice.
