Rudy Gobert Claps Back After Undisputed Co-Host Skip Bayless Calls Him “Soft”

People love attacking Rudy Gobert these days.  The latest was Fox Sports 1’s Skip Bayless, co-host of the morning show “Undisputed” with Shannon Sharpe.

We all know former NBA players have taken their shots at Gobert.  Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal is a repeat offender on this list. But, Shaq was a dominant force for years, has four NBA Championship rings, and knows how to compete with some of history’s best big men down beneath the rim where sweat and words fly like Brittany Mahomes opened a victory bottle of champagne.

But, when a talking head like Skip Bayless foams at the mouth?  It’s a different ballgame to Rudy Gobert.

Rudy Gobert Retaliates via Social Media

Gobert didn’t take long to respond via Twitter…

The Utah Jazz big man also wondered if people would speak like Bayless did if they were standing in the same room face to face.  He brings up a good point regarding today’s internet emboldened hot-takers…

Today’s society often exhibits a reluctance to think about consequences.  One has to wonder, if in the same room, would Rudy react to Skip like Mike Tyson did recently to a drunken plane passenger feeling invincible?

The Twitter handle of @TMZ captured the gist of what many of us hope happens to these loud mouthed, hot take, low content talking heads some day…
