Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Boston Celtics @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 211.0

Vegas Spread: Mil -1.5

We’ll kick this slate game off with the Celtics side of things as they head into Milwaukee looking to avoid elimination and force a game seven. Robert Williams will come into this one as questionable after missing the past two games, so keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates surrounding him. I’m kind of thinking he’ll play just due to this being a win-or-go-home game and that’s how I’ll break this one down. If he does play, I would have no issue going right back to him and would think he plays around 25ish minutes. Jayson Tatum has at least 52 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and will play all the minutes he can handle here. If he could start shooting better from three-point range he would have a legit ceiling game… that said, he’s 5-27 in his last three games. He’s a great option at this price tag in all formats. Jaylen Brown had a nice bounce-back game last time out as well and is a guy they’ll need if they want to sneak out this win. Al Horford has been the player of the series for the Celtics and is a guy I’ll go right back to here, he’s averaging 43.65 DraftKings points per game in this series. Marcus Smart is a fine option as well, he’s priced right about where he should be and is a solid secondary piece. If Rob Williams is back I would expect Grant Williams to go back to the bench and has really struggled over his past two games. He should still see 25+ minutes off of the bench, but I can’t say I love the price tag at this point. Then we can round this team out with Derrick White who has played important minutes for them over their last two games and has produced nicely at a cheap price tag. He’ll look like a serviceable value option in this one. From the Bucks, it sounds like Khris Middleton is getting close to returning and if this was a do-or-die game he might be playing, but they’ll give him a few more days meaning we’ll likely see Grayson Allen in the starting lineup again. I played a good amount of Allen and Pat Connaughton last time out and both are guys I like going back to here, the Bucks need the shooting from these two as the Celtics crash in on Giannis and Holiday in the lane. Speaking of Giannis Antetokounmpo, he has at least 61 DraftKings points in four of his last five games and is the top spend-up option on the slate yet again. Jrue Holiday is a guy I’ll go back to as well, he’s playing all the minutes he can handle and has at least 20 shot attempts in five straight games with Middleton out. Bobby Portis snuck his way back into the rotation as the Bucks went somewhat small with Lopez off the court to close game five. I would consider Portis more of a GPP guy due to the volatility of his minutes, but the ceiling and price tag are nice on him. Then we can round the team out with Brook Lopez who saw just 20 minutes as the Celtics were a bit smaller with Rob Williams out… I would give Lopez a boost if Rob is back for this one, giving him a better matchup.

5-star play: Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday

4-star play: Robert Williams, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Al Horford, Pat Connaughton, Bobby Portis, Grayson Allen

Deeper Value: Derrick White, Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton, Wesley Matthews

GPP Sleeper: Grant Williams, Derrick White, Grayson Allen, Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis, Pat Connaught, Wesley Matthews

Quick shoutout to VIP member “Cenzamatic” on a massive $20k win earlier in the season! Sometimes paying up for double studs works, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant brought it home for him with the help of some Stanley Johnson and Pistons value. Good work and congrats man!

Memphis Grizzlies @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: GSW -8.0

We’ll start this game off with the Grizzlies who are coming off of a massive game five and will look to force a game seven back in Memphis with a win tonight. Ja Morant will be out for this one again meaning Tyus Jones will get the start at point guard again and still seems too cheap, especially on DraftKings where he’s just $5.7k. I do still think he’s in play on FanDuel as well, he has at least 35 FanDuel points in back-to-back games. One guy that I’ve been high on with Morant out is Jaren Jackson Jr., he’s been a core play for me in the past two slates and will be a guy I go right back to here. Jackson has a 30.1% usage rate and 1.27 fantasy points per minute with Morant off of the court this season and as long as he can stay out of foul trouble, he should produce. We can go right back to Steven Adams as well who should start at center again and has seen at least 22 minutes in back-to-back games, he would’ve played more last time out if they didn’t blow the roof off of the house. Then we get to these mid-range guys in Dillon Brooks and Desmond Bane who will both look good here. I do like Brooks slightly more just because I don’t think Bane is healthy and we know Brooks is going to go out there and shoot until his arms fall off. Kyle Anderson has looked good over his past two games but most of his production came in garbage time last time out, so more of a secondary option for me. The same can be said for De’Anthony Melton, but will still look good for tournaments with Morant out. His minutes are always so volatile which makes it uneasy to roster him. From the Warriors, everyone on this team struggled last time out, but returning home should help here. I like going right back to the well on Steph Curry who has at least 51 DraftKings points in two of his last four games and we know has a massive ceiling. Guys like Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson are more tournament options than anything due to the scoring dependency they provide, but much like Curry, both have massive ceilings. I won’t have a problem going to Draymond Green, but he’s never really a priority for me due to the low usage rate. That said, his price did come down but hasn’t produced more than 30 fantasy points in any game in this series. Andrew Wiggins was pretty bad in that game as well but has looked good in this series and is a guy I like as a secondary piece in this price range. Then we can round this team out with GPP guys like Kevon Looney and Otto Porter Jr., Adams starting for the Grizzlies actually helps the production for Looney since his minutes will be more secure.

5-star play: Tyus Jones, Steven Adams, Jaren Jackson Jr.

4-star play: Dillon Brooks, Desmond Bane, Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins

Deeper Value: Kyle Anderson, De’Anthony Melton, Kevon Looney, Otto Porter Jr.

GPP Sleeper: Kyle Anderson, De’Anthony Melton, Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, Kevon Looney, Otto Porter Jr.

NBA Lock of the Day: Jaren Jackson Jr. (DK – $7.0k; FD – $7.9k)

As I mentioned in that Mem/GS breakdown, I’m going right back to the well with Jaren Jackson here. He has a 30.1% and 1.27 fantasy points per minute with Morant off of the court this season. The biggest issue he has is foul troubles, but they’ll be aggressive with his minutes with it being a win-or-go-home game. At this point in the day, I would think he makes my core, but check out our VIP Cheat Sheets as we get closer to lock for staff picks on Core plays, 8x locks of the day, and tiers notes as well!
