Astros – Lance McCullers Jr
Rundown:
This game has opened with a total of 8. Of the two games today, I feel like this is the one that has the blow-up opportunity. Now that I have said that, I expect the TB game to end up 8-6. The Astros have hit Lynn really well in their careers while McCullers can offer struggles and the White Sox lineup is extremely potent. We have seen what postseason baseball is about over the last two days as offenses can struggle. The big thing for the Astros is all of the postseason experience they provide. They have some of the largest postseason resumes in the MLB.

Rundown:
This game has opened with a total of 8. Color me shocked as I just didn’t expect to see the Rays go with McClanahan in game 1 and then Shane Baz in game 2. It’s a different era for the Rays at this point as they just keep plugging in pitchers. Both teams have plenty of power against LHPs but there is also plenty of Ks to be had in this game. We know how volatile a guy like E-Rod can be but he also can be absolutely elite. He struck out 24 Rays in 21 innings this season but did allow 11 earned runs.
