Bristol Motor Speedway

The final race of round one of the Cup Series playoffs will take place at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Bristol night race is one of the most anticipated races of the season and for good reason. Lots of beating and banging. Wrecks and Carnage. Multiple leaders and close side by side racing. It has it all. With lap times under 15 seconds, things happen incredibly quick. This often leads to many mistakes and accidents which can result in a lot of shakeups when it comes to running order and finishing positions. We do tend to see long green flag runs at times in the middle of the race which can lead to tons of cars getting lapped, and one driver really racking up the laps led. Final race for all three series in some form or fashion this week so there is a lot to pay attention to.

Cup Series Race

Race Preview

500 laps this week. FIVE HUNDRED!! That means we are all about the dominators for this race. I am playing an absolute minimum of two in each lineup but I will be force feeding as many three dominator lineups as possible. The Gibbs and HMS cars are 100% the top threats but the Penske trio should be considered as sneaky threats as well.. Because the spring race was run on dirt, it will be the first race here since last fall when six cars finished on the lead lap and *checks notes* Kevin Harvick won. Bristol over the last couple of years has migrated back to being a bottom feeder track thanks to the traction compound that is applied. Hopefully, that is the case for this week as well.

NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Outlook

The four biggest threats to dominate and win will start in the top 4 spots. Gragson is on a roll and has a Bristol win to his name from last year. Allgaier has dominated this track with laps led but has failed to get the finishes he deserved. Ty Gibbs is simply a beast and Gibbs cars have been amazing here for as long as one can remember. Hemric has been the odd man out in terms of wins this year but he has been very fast in general and this is a good track for him. I like pairing a couple of these drivers together in two dominator strategies and then looking to hit on some value plays from there. 250 laps in this race so dominators will be massive. Sam Mayer will get a lot of love and Ty Dillon is in a great spot as well. Cassill, Moffitt, and Clements are some GPP plays I really like personally.

NASCAR Truck Series DFS Outlook

Solid 200 laps so dominator points are important. With Sam Mayer starting at the very back though we will be treating him as a top partner for the main dominator. For this reason, I will use a dominator setting of at least one or at least two if Mayer is marked as a dominator. There are a ton of good value options which open things up massively for lineup making. Fogleman, Roper, Truex, Hill, Alan, Greenfield, and Coby are some of my favorites. All these drivers all you lots of flexibility with lineup making. This should be a fun race with lots of lineup making potential. Very interested in how this one plays out. I have Sheldon Creed and John Hunter Nemechek as the favorites for the win with Gilliland and Zane Smith as the next in line if either has issues. Chandler Smith is another sneaky threat
