CFL DFS Week Nine – Quick Glance

Winnipeg @ BC
The Bombers come off of a bye week riding a four game win streak. The Lions will be looking to bounce back after a devastating last second loss to Saskatchewan last week.
These teams can both put up points. BC is averaging 25.7 points per game while the Bombers are averaging 24.7 , second and third most in the league.
Winnipeg is allowing 106.6 rush yards per game (most on the slate) but it’s hard to trust the BC run game. BC is allowing the most Draftkings points to rb on this slate (18.0). This could be a good spot for Andrew Harris – as long as he doesn’t get vultured inside the 5 by backup qb Sean Mcguire who has 6 rushing tds on just 12 attempts.
Going For Two
In this section I will identify two of my top CFL plays from each game based on a couple of metrics that I have created (full Value and Ratings data is available to our VIPS in my weekly cheat sheet and Research Station):
- Value: Player data and performance from multiple categories weighted against the player’s weekly Draftkings salary
- Rating: A metric that measures how a player ranks in various categories vs players of the same position

Montreal @ Hamilton
Montreal comes in riding a two game losing streak while Hamilton has won two in a row with third string QB David Watford.
Hamilton passing game might get a boost if Masoli is ready to go and wr Addison may be back as well. Montreal gives up the most DK points to wr and qbs on the slate. Keep an eye on Hamilton’s depth chart once it gets released.
As for Montreal’s passing game, Vernon Adams has been looking deeeep. He has an absurd ADOT of 13.2 – the only problem is that his completion percentage is under 59%. Even with his accuracy issues, his receivers are still benefitting. Lewis is averaging 16.7 DK and Wienke is averaging 19.3 (and he’s only $6100)

Saskatchewan @ Calgary
Saskatchewan has won two in a row coming off of last week’s last second win in BC. Calgary has only managed one W in their past four games.
I’m interested in the Saskatchewan passing game in this one. Calgary is allowing the second most DK points to wr and qbs on the slate. Saskatchewan has a few cheap wr that you can stack with Fajardo and still have plenty of money left to fill out the roster with studs. The Riders spread the ball around so it’s not always easy to pinpoint who is gonna get fed., especially after Ricardo Lewis’ coming out party.
