CFL DFS Week Six – Quick Glance
I have now added Draftkings projections into our CFL Research Station. A lot can happen in a week for Canadian fantasy football. I won’t be updating this article with any roster changes etc but will be providing updates in our Discord channels.
Hamilton @ Toronto
Hamilton gives up 109 rushing yards per game on average. Toronto would be smart to try to establish the ground game but they are only rushing the ball 17 times per game on average. Toronto will be sticking with Arbuckle even though he got yanked in last week’s Labour Day game.
CFL All Star Brandon Banks is the highest priced WR on the Drafkings slate. He has underwhelmed to say the least. He’s averaging 7 targets per game but has yet to break 15 DK points this season. Even with his lack of production, he still has an average ownership of 36% so far.

In this section I will identify two of my top CFL plays from each game based on a couple of metrics that I have created (full Value and Ratings data is available to our VIPS in my weekly cheat sheet and Research Station):
- Value: Player data and performance from multiple categories weighted against the player’s weekly Draftkings salary
- Rating: A metric that measures how a player ranks in various categories vs players of the same position

Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg
The Bombers went into Regina last week and backed up their trash talk by shutting down the Riders, limiting them to 8 points and 276 total yards. Fajardo remains the highest priced QB after putting up 7.54 DK points and tossing three picks.
The Bomber passing game may get a boost with potential injuries to the Saskatchewan secondary (Gainey & Purifoy)

Calgary @ Edmonton
Edmonton returned after their battle with COVID-19 and beat the Stamps 32-20. I love the Edmonton passing game here as Calgary is giving up almost 320 yards per game and allowing the most DK points per game to wr and second most to qb.
It’s still not known if Bo Levi will get the start or not. If he doesn’t, Jake Maier will attempt to hit 300 passing yards for the 4th consecutive game.

Ottawa @ BC
BC returns off of the bye week and gets a juicy matchup vs Ottawa. The REDBLACKS are allowing over 310 passing yards per game and giving up the most DK points to qbs.
For Ottawa, Dominique Davis gets the start at QB. He provided a spark in the passing game, putting up 29 DK points coming off of the bench. He’s shown that he can put up decent numbers but he also turns the ball over a bunch.
