Indianapolis Motor Speedway
We have yet another road course this weekend with bot the Cup Series and Xfinity Series taking on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. IndyCar will also have a race there this weekend. Should be a lot of fun. Both these races will run roughly the same length as Watkins Glen did and offer very similar strategy plays. Last year the Xfinity Series ran the only race on this circuit with Chase Briscoe taking the win. NASCAR/IMS added different curbing in a few corners but overall the racing will be extremely similar to last year. Since road course races are very similar overall it won’t be too hard to figure out who the best plays are. Trends are usually very easy to figure out and the DFS Army Research Station is the best place to get all the practice and track history info for each driver.

NASCAR Cup Series DFS Outlook
Not going to spend too much time here as it is a fairly straight forward situation. This is the first race on this circuit for the Cup Series. Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson for HMS will be favorites to win with Christopher Bell and Martin Truex big threats from JGR. We will have Austin Cindric and AJ Allmendinger in this race as well offering incredible value and race winning upside. This race will likely be a bit chalky on both sites due to the pricing situation and the ability to play a lot of top drivers. It’s frustrating to see that both sites really didn’t have a clue how to price this weekend. SuperDraft is the same way with Allmendinger and Cindric at stupid multipliers. We will have practice speeds for this week which will help. Once we get the qualifying order we can see the best values are and attack from there. Much like Road America, you never know what weird things can happen.

NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Outlook
Super simple race this week. Cindric, Allmendinger, and Ty Gibbs will battle for the win. We have a few random driver changes for this week as well. Austin Dillon and Kevin Harvick will run the race. We also have Sage Karam in the 31, Will Rodgers in the 24 for Sam Hunt, and Austin Hill in the 61 for Hattori. There are a few other randoms but they might not matter unless they make the race. There are 44 cars on the entry list with only 36 making the field. That means 8 cars will not qualify for the race. On top of that, the pricing for this race is moronic. I expect lineups with between $2000 to $5000 having extreme viability. Frustrating pricing job by Dk but building lineups will be easy and you can do whatever you want essentially.
