Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Michael aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

I want to give a quick shoutout to VIP Member “bob226226” on their $100,000 win over the weekend!! Kicking off the playoffs strong!

Philadephia 76ers @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 229.5

Vegas Spread: Phi -9.0

We’ll kick this playoff Memorial Day slate with the Sixers as they look to take advance to the second round as they have their eyes on sweeping the Wizards. These main three guys on the Sixers continue to be too cheap particularly on DraftKings… Embiid under $10k, and both Simmons and Harris under $8k, they’re all elite options in this one. They’re more expensive on FanDuel, but it’s still a fantastic spot for them, and on a two-game slate, no issue going right back to them here. Danny Green hit five three-pointers in the first half last time out, but that’s what he does, he didn’t score in the second half. He’s a streaky guy that you can expect to be volatile in your lineup, so more of a GPP guy. The last guy I would have much interest in on Philly is Seth Curry, and the fact that he’s cheaper than Green is really intriguing to me, I much prefer Curry here. From the Wizards, the big news is Russell Westbrook is coming into this one as questionable, but in a win or go home game, I’ll have a tough time thinking he won’t be on the court. I’ll operate under the assumption that he’s a go here, but keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates regarding his status. Bradley Beal has been pretty consistent this series and we know he’s going to play massive minutes, he’s a solid option on both sites here. If Westbrook ends up sitting, Beal has a 39.9% usage rate and 1.5 fantasy points per minute, so he would become a priority if that’s the case. Ish Smith is another guy that comes in as questionable for the Wizards here, he left with an injury last game but ended up returning, so I would assume he’s good to go here as well.. but yet again, keep an eye on that Breaking News Feed for updates. He’s been fairly solid this series and on a two-game slate we may be starved for value, and he makes sense. Rui Hachimura isn’t a sexy play by any means but his price has come down to a more playable level on both sites. We know he’s going to play nice minutes, the matchup just kind of sucks and I’m not convinced he’s all that great of a basketball player. Daniel Gafford is a guy I like a lot, he looks so much better than any other big man the Wizards have, he’s going to play 20+ minutes at a nice price tag. Probably more of a DraftKings play due to being center eligible on FanDuel, but you can make a case for GPP to get your lineup different on what should be a chalkier slate. Lastly, the obligatory, Davis Bertans is in play for GPP remark.

5-star play: Joel Embiied, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris (DraftKings), Russell Westbrook

4-star play: Danny Green, Seth Curry, Daniel Gafford

Deeper Value: Davis Bertans, Daniel Gafford

GPP Sleeper: Ish Smith, Rui Hachimura, Davis Bertans

Utah Jazz @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 225.5

Vegas Spread: Utah -6.0

Starting with the Jazz as they look to take a 3-1 series advantage. Donovan Mitchell saw his minutes go up last game and I would think he’s clear of any sort of restriction. I do like the price tag on him quite a bit. We’re used to him being closer to $9k, so I think you can fire him up comfortably on both sites. Mike Conley is cooking this series, he has at least 49 DraftKings points in each game this series. The Grizzlies have struggled with opposing point guards on the season so I have no issue going right back to him. Rudy Gobert is another guy you can go right back to the well on, he’s probably your cash center today if you’re not able to get up to Joel Embiid. The rest of this team is more GPP guys than anything with pieces like Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, and Royce O’Neale. From the Grizzlies, things start with Ja Morant here, we know he’s going to play around 40 minutes and attempt to put the team on his back. He’s been pretty good in this series and makes for a nice option in all formats. Jonas Valanciunas is your GPP pivot off Rudy Gobert, it’s a tough matchup with Gobert, but they’ll need him out there and he’s a really nice point per minute guy. Dillon Brooks is a guy I like a lot for this Grizzlies team, he’s the perfect playoff guy… he shot 1-7 from three-point range last time out and still scored 37 DraftKings points, you can go back to him as well here. Kyle Anderson is never a sexy option, but he’s looked great this series, I’d rather take a shot on him over Jaren Jackson on this team who we’ve seen be a bit more handsy than you’d like against a physical Utah offense.

5-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley, Ja Morant

4-star play: Rudy Gobert, Bojan Bogdanovic, Dillon Brooks, Jonas Valanciunas, Kyle Anderson

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson, Royce O’Neale, Joe Ingles, Jaren Jackson Jr.
