(FREE!) NBA Full Court Press Breakdown, Advice, and Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – April 15th, 2021

Full Court Press Breakdown for NBA DFS 4/15:

Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. We also have NEW pricing options, where you can sign up for WEEKLY access as opposed to be committed for a full month, so you have no excuse to try us out! With that said, let’s get it started!

Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

It sounds like Giannis Antetokounmpo may be out again here, but so may some of the stars on this Hawks team as well. I would think Giannis sits here, they don’t necessarily need him in this matchup, but keep an eye on that Breaking News Feed nonetheless. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton have been less than impressive with Giannis out over the past few games, but Middleton turned it on last game and the matchup is great for him so I really like both of them again here tonight. It doesn’t seem like they’re the lock and load plays we had with this team last season. That said, on a short slate, they would be pretty strong options here. Bobby Portis didn’t start for Giannis last game as the Bucks chose to start Pat Connaughton instead, his minutes went down to 23 but he still put up 34 DraftKings points, he would be a great option in this matchup as well. I would really only have interest in Connaughton and Brook Lopez if Giannis were to sit, but you can get to Donte DiVincenzo as a secondary option. Now for the Hawks, Trae Young is a GTD again here tonight after missing the other night so that is something to keep an eye on. If he were to miss then Bogdan Bogdanovic and Brandon Goodwin would both become premier plays at their respective prices. Kevin Huerter would also see a nice bump here and would go overlooked in GPPs. Clint Capela is also a premier play here tonight, but he is a GTD as well, so if he misses then it opens up minutes for Nathan Knight who would be a really nice value play here, so keep an eye on news overall.

5-star play: Khris Middleton, Clint Capela (if in)

4-star play: Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Lou Williams

Deeper Value: Nathan Knight, Brandon Goodwin, Pat Connaughton

GPP Sleeper: Kevin Huerter

Golden State Warriors @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

Now for the Warriors, Steph Curry has been on fire these past few games, and he’s a premier play tonight after coming off multiple 50+ FP performances and the Cavs are horrible against PGs as well. Kelly Oubre Jr. missed last game, so if he is out again then it opens up more usage for Andrew Wiggins as he had a really solid game last night with him out as well. Draymond Green also gets a solid matchup here, but they’ll need him as James Wiseman is done for the year, and it also puts Juan Toscano-Anderson in play again here tonight for value. Now for the Cavaliers, both Collin Sexton missed again last night, so that makes Darius Garland a premier play once again if he misses tonight as well, if both are out then Matthew Dellavedova can resurge as a value play as well. I would assume he gets the start again if they sit, but his price has come up so keep an eye on that situation. It sounds like both Larry Nance Jr. and Jarrett Allen will play here after being out for about two weeks, keep an eye on any sort of minutes restriction here, if they’re a full-go I like them in this matchup, but be careful as they are on the 2nd half of a B2B. Kevin Love is likely to sit tonight on the 2nd half of a B2B, but more of a GPP guy nonetheless if he does suit up here. We can probably get off guys like Isaiah Hartenstein and Dean Wade unless Love is out as it would open up more minutes for them.

5-star play: Steph Curry

4-star play: Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Andrew Wiggins, Kevin Love (if in), Draymond Green

Deeper Value: Juan Toscano-Anderson, Larry Nance, Isaiah Hartensten, Dean Wade

GPP Sleeper: Isaiah Hartenstein

Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: Bos -6

This isn’t a game I’ll be targeting too heavily, as both these teams play pretty slow and this Lakers team really just is not good without LeBron and AD. Starting with the Lakers, it looks like LeBron and AD will still be out here so that puts the scoring load on both Dennis Schroder and Kyle Kuzma again, so they are going to be the two main options if you want guys from this Lakers team. If you’re looking for value, Alex Caruso and Talen Horton-Tucker are also solid plays, as is Montrezl Harrell as his minutes should be blowout proof as well. If Andre Drummond suits up for this one he would be a decent value play here as Boston isn’t good against bigs, but he’s becomes the new AD with a GTD tag every night. If he is out I will have some Trez. Now for the Celtics, we all know the drill by now, your main two guys are going to be Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as both has sky high ceilings and the matchup is good tonight. I give the slight lean to Brown here as he is cheaper with a similar ceiling. Kemba Walker is also in play here and is a bit underpriced as well. Robert Williams continues to start, and I like him again here tonight, but I just wish the Celtics would cut Tristan Thompson and really let this kid get after it. Marcus Smart is also in play for GPPs, but I wouldn’t get too excited about him unless Kemba is out.

5-star play: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown

4-star play: Kemba Walker, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Kuzma, Andre Drummond

Deeper Value: Montrezl Harrell, Alex Caruso, Marcus Smart

GPP Sleeper: Robert Williams, Andre Drummond

Sacramento Kings @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

This is the game I want to target, as we have what I expect to be a high total and it should be very competitive as well. Starting with the Kings, De’Aaron Fox has been really solid outside of one really bad game a few weeks ago but the matchup isn’t the greatest going up against CP3. Tyrese Haliburton seems to have hit that rookie wall over the last month, which benefits Buddy Hield as he’s seen an uptick in usage as we saw last night, but he performed well in their last game and neither guy breaks the bank, I prefer Haliburton here though as the Suns are solid defensively. Richaun Holmes is out again here, so that opens up minutes for Damian Jones who started last game, but the real beneficiary here is Hassan Whiteside as this game flow actually goes really in his favor, he’s a nice value play here tonight. Harrison Barnes also has been really solid despite his dud the other night, he’s in play in all aspects here tonight as well especially in cash games. Now for the Suns, Chris Paul and Devin Booker should have a field day here, as the Kings really struggle to defend guards and the two of them have been trending upward, especially Booker. DeAndre Ayton also has a great matchup here tonight, as the Kings are probably the worst defensive team in the NBA, especially now that Holmes is out. Mikal Bridges also plays well in fast paced games like these so he’s in play as well for GPPs. Lastly, Dario Saric should see some solid run here, and Cam Johnson even showed some signs of life the other night as well as his minutes are trending upward. I could even go to some Cameron Payne here in GPPs as well if you think this game blows out.

5-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Devin Booker

4-star play: Tyrese Haliburton, Hassan Whiteside, DeAndre Ayton, Chris Paul, Mikal Bridges

Deeper Value: Dario Saric, Damian Jones, Cam Johnson, Cameron Payne

GPP Sleeper: Hassan Whiteside

NBA Lock of the Day:

(Khris Middleton FD: $7,800 DK: $8,300)

Giannis has already been ruled out here tonight, and while he’s been a bit underwhelming we saw that spark last game as he went for 50 FPs and the price is still right around 8K on both sites. Add in a great matchup against the Hawks who has struggled to defend SFs all year and you have a great overall night for Middleton. I’m expecting him to crush in this one.
