Indiana Pacers @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total: 216.5

Vegas Spread: Ind -6

I don’t love the outlook of this game much, as both of these teams play at a slower pace, as shown by the 216.5 total, however there are a few studs here that we can target so let’s dig in. First off is going to be Domantas Sabonis as the matchup for his is really good going against Allen, who was a guy we always targeted when he played for Brooklyn. Myles Turner has also been having a career year, but consistency is still an issue with him, so he’s GPP only but definitely in play with his ceiling. Malcolm Brogdon has been having a great year, and he was back last game after missing, so that is a bump down to both TJ McConnell and Jeremy Lamb, but Lamb did miss last game as well, so if he misses again the biggest boost goes to Brogdon here. Doug McDermott and Justin Holiday are both solid value options as well, especially if Lamb misses again tonight. For the Cavs, they finally seem to have found their young core to build around in the form of Collin Sexton and Jarrett Allen. Sexton draws the better matchup here, especially if Lamb is out as he won’t have to deal with his length. Allen draws a tougher matchup going up against Sabonis and Turner, but he is still firmly in play for GPPs with the workload he’s been getting. Dean Wade has continued to start, but Cedi Osman is the guy you’ll want to target here, especially if coming off the bench, especially if Prince is out again tonight. Darius Garland is also a part of that young core, but going up against Brogdon is a tough matchup for the young PG. If you’re looking for a deep GPP special as well, Dylan Windler has been playing very well off the bench, and would become a really solid value if Cedi Osman were to miss this game for whatever reason.

5-star play: Collin Sexton, Domantas Sabonis

4-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, Myles Turner, Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland

Deeper Value: Cedi Osman, Dean Wade, Dylan Windler

GPP Sleeper: Cedi Osman, Dylan Windler

Utah Jazz @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

Here we finally have a game for the Jazz where it appears that we can target, just as we did last game where they had a total of over 235. This game should be really fun to watch so this is one I’ll be targeting for sure.  Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is going to be your main target, but I really won’t be going out of my way to fit him in, as we all know that Philly is tough on guards, but he’ll get a major boost if Conley is out here. Another option is going to be Rudy Gobert, but the matchup isn’t the best going up against Joel Embiid who does love to bang downlow. However, that could be a motivator for Rudy as he likes to get physical as well and I can see him and Embiid going at it tonight. If you’re looking for deeper GPP options, Bojan Bogdanovic and Jordan Clarkson should play solid minutes, especially if Conley is out again tonight. Especially Bojan as he went crazy the other night as his shooting is finally starting to turn around after being cold most of the year. The guy who gets the biggest boost if Conley is out is going to be Joe Ingles as he’ll play a ton of minutes in that event, and he’s cheap everywhere so he’ll likely be a core play tonight if that is the case. For the Sixers, Joel Embiid has really been lighting it up lately, and while the matchup here isn’t the greatest, it is still one we can target and take advantage of. The Jazz allow a surprising amount of FPs to bigs still despite Gobert being great defensively. He’s the best play on this Sixers team. Ben Simmons has been tearing it up over the past week as well, and if Conley is out again then the matchup just gets that much better with his size and length. Tobias Harris is a GTD as well, he’s missed the past 2 games, if he is in he is a solid cash option. However, if he is out, it will make Seth Curry a very solid value as he’ll move up in the pecking order offensively. I also have some interest in Shake Milton here as he plays heavy minutes off the bench and he lit it up last game going for 20+ actual points. Furkan Korkmaz would also be in play if Curry were to miss for any reason.

5-star play: Joel Embiid

4-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris (if in), Shake Milton, Bojan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: Seth Curry, Shake Milton, Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic

GPP Sleeper: Shake Milton, Joe Ingles

Detroit Pistons @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

This isn’t a game that I’ll be heavily targeting as the Piston’s rotation is very hard to predict right now as it is basically just a revolving door at this point. The only guy who gets consistent minutes and is heavily relied upon is Jerami Grant as he has been their anchor ever since joining the team. Toronto is middle of the pack against SF/PFs so I won’t be heavy on him. Saddiq Bey has really shined as well with his new role as he was the only other player to break 30 minutes in their last game, but consistency is an issue with him. Isaiah Stewart has also been playing heavier minutes the past few games, he presents a decent value as well. Only other Piston I will consider is Josh Jackson and even then his price has come up a bit. For the Raptors, Fred VanVleet has been lights out all year, and the matchup is great here as he’ll play close to 40ish minutes as long as this one stays close and he has 45+ FP upside. Kyle Lowry also triple doubled in their last game, and the matchup is solid for him as well, but I won’t pair the two. Pascal Siakam missed last game, but he is very much in play here as long as he is healthy. OG Anunoby would be the biggest beneficiary if he misses this game. Chris Boucher also started in his absence, and he’s shown that he has a nice ceiling so he’s a solid GPP play. I actually like him more if Siakam is in because he’ll come off the bench and get blowout run.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowry, Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey

Deeper Value: Josh Jackson, Dennis Smith Jr., OG Anunoby

GPP Sleeper: Chris Boucher

Brooklyn Nets @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

This game should be interesting, as it’ll all depend on whether or not the Rockets can stay competitive in this one, as they’ve been having a down year, especially after getting blown out by the Grizzlies and then that snooze fest against the Cavs last game. For the Nets, it looks like Kevin Durant will be out again, so that puts both Kyrie Irving and James Harden in the spotlight as the matchup doesn’t get much better for both of them, and we also get the revenge factor for Harden here, after his bitter trade out of Houston. My hope is that one of them will sit tonight (Kyrie) and just let Harden go crazy.  Joe Harris has been very up and down this year, but with KD likely still out here he will be thrust into a bigger offensive role as well. Bruce Brown has been playing heavy minutes as well, but outside of Harden and Kyrie I don’t think I’ll be targeting any other Nets unless we get more injury news as we’ll need one of them to be out to open up some value. For the Rockets, they just look horrible after releasing Boogie. Victor Oladipo was back last game, but he looked like he didn’t want to be in Houston either, so I’ll likely fade him here. If he ends up missing this game again then it’ll be up to John Wall, he is really the only guy I have faith in on this team right now after he showed up last game. Eric Gordon is a GTD as well after missing last game, he becomes very playable if Oladipo misses for whatever reason. Danuel House will likely also start, and he is in play here for value as well. Justin Patton has also been thrust into the starting role for the Rockets, he is squarely in play for GPPs as a value play.

5-star play: James Harden, Kyrie Irving, John Wall

4-star play: Victor Oladipo, Eric Gordon, Joe Harris

Deeper Value: Jeff Green, Justin Patton, Danuel House

GPP Sleeper: Jeff Green

Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

The Hawks are scuffling right now, and a lot of that reason has to do both with injuries and with Trae Young really in a cold spell. This isn’t a great matchup for him to breakout of it either, but we know he’s going to break out at some point. Clint Capela has been their anchor in the interior, but he draws a difficult matchup as well going up against Vuc. John Collins actually draws the best matchup of any of the Hawks, and he has come on the past few games as well. I like him here tonight. Kevin Huerter should also play heavy minutes here especially if Cam Reddish is out again. Danilo Gallinari is also a nice play off the bench, as he’ll dominate usage because Bogdan Bogdanovic will likely still be on a minutes limit here. For the matchup, the main star here is going to be Nikola Vucevic as he has been on an absoulte tear since Gordon went down, and nothing about that changes tonight. Evan Fournier gets a fantastic matchup here, as the Hawks have really been struggling against 2s/3s and he has stepped up in Gordon’s absence especially offensively. Michael Carter-Williams will also hold onto the starting role here, as he looks like he’s finally getting comfortable as he had his best game of the year last time out. Terrence Ross is always in play for GPPs as well but you don’t want to pair him with Fournier as the two eat into each other’s production. Al-Farouq Aminu is a decent GPP value play as well, but on a 10 game slate I don’t think you need to go there.

5-star play: Nikola Vucevic

4-star play: Trae Young, Kevin Huerter, John Collins, Clint Capela, Evan Fournier

Deeper Value: Danilo Gallinari, Terrenec Ross, Michael Carter-Williams

GPP Sleeper: Michael Carter-Williams

Charlotte Hornets @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

This game should be loaded with fantasy goodness, as the T-Wolves play 0 defense and the Hornets are starting to pick up the pace with LaMelo at the helm, I don’t think we get a blowout here either so this is definitely a game to target. Starting with the Hornets, the big news will be whether or not Gordon Hayward suits up, and him and Zeller were both out their past two games. I’m going to write this as if both of them are out again tonight assuming they won’t want to push them against this bad Wolves team. LaMelo Ball has turned into the catalyst on this offense, especially with Graham out who appears out again tonight as well. That also thrusts Terry Rozier into play as he has shown a high ceiling in games like these, but he has had some consistency issues with his jumper, so he’s more of a GPP play for me. PJ Washington dudded hard last game against the Blazers, but we can use that recency bias in our favor here as the Wolve are horrible against bigs as well, I love him if Zeller is out again tonight. Malik Monk ahas also been playing really well off the bench, but consistency is going to be an issue with him as well so he’s a GPP only play for me. Bismack Biyombo would also be playable here IF he starts which is a possibility with him matching up against KAT. For the T-Wolves, with Malik Beasley on suspension, Karl-Anthony Towns averages 1.53 FPPM with him and Russell off the floor, this should be a ceiling game for KAT as long as he doesn’t get into foul trouble again. Anthony Edwards has also been phenomenal over the past few weeks, and his role only increases with Beasley off the floor, with him and Russell off the court he has a 33% usage rate. I’ll be going back to the value train in Jaylen Nowell again as well as he will see a ton of minutes off the bench. Ricky Rubio is also playable here, as he thrives in faster paced games like these and he doesn’t break the bank. Jarred Vanderbilt also draws a favorable matchup, and he’s been playing heavy minutes as well.

5-star play: LaMelo Ball, Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star play: PJ Washington, Terry Rozier, Ricky Rubio, Anthony Edwards, Jarred Vanderbilt

Deeper Value: Jaylen Nowell, Ricky Rubio, Malik Monk

GPP Sleeper: Jaylen Nowell

Chicago Bulls @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 236.5

Vegas Spread: Nop -5.5

This is going to be the game I want to target the most here tonight, as both of these teams play at a very fast pace and not much defense. The Bulls have been playing much better, and they’ve been led by Zach LaVine who has been having a career year and he dominates usage in this Bulls offense. Coby White has a decent price as well, but he’s a GPP play for me because if he doesn’t get off to a hot start then Tomas Satoransky will eat into his minutes. Wendell Carter Jr. has also been playing heavy minutes, but the matchup isn’t the best for him here tonight going up against a combo of Zion and Adams. Patrick Williams will also continue to start here, he’s a decent value but I won’t go out of my way to play him. For the Pelicans, they have been white hot and they should continue that streak here tonight as the Bulls allow a ton of FPs to basically all positions. Zion Williamson draws a fantastic matchup here, as the Bulls have been getting torched by opposing big men and he has been white hot as well. It bodes well for Steven Adams as well, along with Wily Hernangomez who has been playing solid minutes off the bench. Brandon Ingram has started to turn it around after his cold spell as well, and he gets a great matchup here as well at the 3. He’s a solid GPP pivot off of Zion. Lonzo Ball gets a solid matchup as well, and Eric Bledsoe is even in play here tonight. This is a game we want to target heavily.

5-star play: Zion Williamson, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Coby White, Wendell Carter Jr., Steven Adams, Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball

Deeper Value: Eric Bledsoe, Patrick Williams, Tomas Satoransky

GPP Sleeper: Steven Adams, Wily Hernangomez

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

The Thunder are scuffling a bit right now, as they still have a good amount of injuries that they’re dealing with as George Hill and Hamidou Diallo are both out again, so that makes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander your main target on this Thunder team as he is going to have a sky high usage rate here once again. Al Horford has a decent matchup as well, and he’s the #2 on this Thunder team. Darius Bazley is also in play here, but he takes more of a back seat when Horford is healthy. My dark horse here is Theo Maledon as he has really exceeded all expectations in his rookie year. The Mavs actually give up a ton of FPs to opposing PGs, so he’s one of my favorite GPP value plays on the day. For the Mavericks, it appears that Kristaps Porzingis is going to stay put, and he gets a great matchup here as the Thunder are a bit undersized in their front court and he’ll just be able to shoot right over them. Luka Doncic is a triple double machine and the ceiling is sky high for him on a slate where I don’t think that he’ll be too heavily owned. Josh Richardson is also a great value option here, as he finally got it going last game, and he is the key to this team as if he thrives then they can really start making a run to get into the playoffs. Maxi Kleber even got it going last game, and he’s in play again if he continues to start on a slate that has some decent value especially in the hammer game.

5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis

4-star play: Theo Maledon, Darius Bazley, Al Horford, Josh Richardson

Deeper Value: Maxi Kleber, Theo Maledon

GPP Sleeper: Theo Maledon

Golden State Warriors @ Portland Trail Blazers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

Here is another great game to target, as both of these teams play at a very fast pace and neither play much defense either. It is one of my favorite games here as well along with the Charlotte and Lakers game. Steph Curry looks like his old self, and he gets a great matchup here going up against Dame and the Blazers, who rank 26th against PGs over their last 7 games. He is going to carry this offense and I think he has legit 60+ upside tonight. Draymond Green is a solid play here as well, but his price has come up after his triple double last week. He contributes in a ton of categories, so his floor is pretty safe especially since the Blazers are bad against bigs. James Wiseman is also healthy, and he’s been trending in the right direction. He gets a great matchup against this Blazers team as Kanter is basically a revolving door at the rim. Kelly Oubre has also been solid over the past month after getting off to a horrible start to the season. He’s priced right about at value, and Andrew Wiggins is in play as well, but I’m never really excited to play him. For the Trail Blazers, Damian Lillard is their catalyst offensively, but the matchup here isn’t as good as it appears, the Warriors have actually been pretty tough on PGs this year. This should be a boost to Gary Trent Jr. as he has stepped up in McCollum’s absence, and Robert Covington actually had a ceiling game last time out as well. Enes Kanter will be my main target here though, as he gets a great matchup going up against the young Wiseman who isn’t very good defensively yet. Carmelo Anthony is also in play for GPPs as he handles the majority of the usage with that 2nd team offense.

5-star play: Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard

4-star play: Enes Kanter, Kelly Oubre, Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, Draymond Green

Deeper Value: Gary Trent Jr., Carmelo Anthony

GPP Sleeper: James Wiseman

Los Angeles Lakers @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

Here we have a very interesting situation, as LeBron didn’t make the trip to Sacramento so he will be out tonight along with AD already being out as well. Talen Horton-Tucker will slide into the starting lineup here and play all the minutes he can handle, and he’s under 4K on both sites, so he’s going to be my lock of the day. Dennis Schroder is also a premier play as the Kings are pretty bad defensively against guards. Kyle Kuzma is also questionable and he missed last game, so if he is out again then Markieff Morris will be a phenomenal value play as well. The Lakers provide a ton of value here tonight, as you can also go to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Alex Caruso and I’ll also go right back to Montrezl Harrell as well even after his dud last night. For the Kings, De’Aaron Fox is the premier play once again, as Haliburton has already been ruled out, so him and Buddy Hield will play a ton of minutes here. Harrison Barnes has also been phenomenal over the past week, he’s a great cash game play and has some upside in GPPs at his price as well. Marvin Bagley has also been trending upward and with no AD or Gasol he shouldn’t meet too much resistance at the rim. Richaun Holmes is also in play here as well from the Kings. Overall this is a great game to target for value.

5-star play: Talen Horton-Tucker, De’Aaron Fox, Dennis Schroder

4-star play: Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes, Richaun Holmes, Montrezl Harrell

Deeper Value: Alex Caruso, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Markieff Morris

GPP Sleeper: Markieff Morris, Harrison Barnes

NBA Lock of the Day:

 (Talen Horton-Tucker FD: $3,900 DK: $3,400)

With LeBron and AD out tonight, THT has a 29.5% usage rate and averages 1.34 FPPM and he comes in at near minimum on both sites. Don’t overthink this one as he is going to play a ton of minutes so I believe his floor is safe, and that ceiling is sky high tonight. Love him in all formats.
