(FREE!) NBA Full Court Press Breakdown, Advice, and Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Jan. 26th, 2021

Full Court Press Breakdown for NBA DFS 1/26:

Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

The winning has come early and often this season! Congrats to VIP Member – “Fatherofthree” on his $150k NBA win!! Adding to the list of winners already this season!

Los Angeles Clippers @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

For the Clippers, we’ve got some big news here, as both, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are both out tonight due to COVID protocols, so this will open up a ton of value for this Clippers team. Ivica Zubac is in play for GPPs, as he’s been playing heavy minutes off the bench, but its hard to trust him as they tend to roll with the hot hand between him and Ibaka. Pat Beverley is also out here tonight due to his knee, so the Clippers will be very limited here. Nic Batum has also been playing heavy minutes (36 last game) and while he’s not a great FPPM producer there isn’t a ton of value yet on this slate and he should smash tonight given the amount of usage that is up for grabs tonight. With both of Kawhi and PG13 being out tonight, it’ll open up a ton of value here for the Clippers, Reggie Jackson, Lou Williams, Terrence Mann, and Luke Kennard should also see major usage boosts, but we’ll need a starting lineup before we figure out who the plays are.

For the Hawks, we are waiting on a lot of news here that will change the slate depending on how it goes. Trae Young is a GTD again after missing last game, same story for Clint Capela, if both of those guys are in here tonight then I’ll be targeting this game and both of them quite a bit especially against what is essentially the Clippers 2nd team.  John Collins would be the biggest beneficiary if both of those guys miss, and he’s still a bit underpriced especially on FanDuel. Cam Reddish is probable tonight, but the guy I want here is De’Andre Hunter as he’s been crushing it the past few weeks, I’ll like him more if Trae misses. Kevin Huerter is also in play here especially if Trae misses, that would also put Rajon Rondo in play as well here, but the price has come up a bit. Keep an eye on our VIP Coaching forums for updates particularly for this game.

5-star play: Trae Young, Clint Capela (if they play)

4-star play: De’Andre Hunter, Lou Williams, John Collins

Deeper Value: Ivica Zubac, Terrence Mann, Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard

GPP Sleeper: Terrence Mann, Luke Kennard

Washington Wizards @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: Hou -2.5

For the Wizards,  Davis Bertans, Rui Hachimura, Ish Smith, Deni Avdija, and Mo Wagner are all out due to COVID protocols, so the Wizards are still shorthanded here. Again, keep an eye on the VIP Coaching forums for updates throughout the day. With how shorthanded this team is in the frontcourt, Robin Lopez should be forced into pretty big minutes along with Alex Len who was just signed this week, both make a lot of sense for tournaments at the very least especially since the pace of this game should be insane between these two teams. Bradley Beal is a premier play here as well, as is Russell Westbrook against his most recent old team. With all those guys out, Jerome Robinson will likely start again here, as he had a great game last time out and even Isaac Bonga saw 33 minutes. The target here will be Garrison Matthews, as he he saw 35 minutes off the bench last game, and if you’re looking to get really different, Cassius Winston could see some run off the bench here in a very fast paced game.

For the Rockets, Christian Wood is still doubtful tonight, so that opens up the door for DeMarcus Cousins should be in for a big game once again, especially against Washington’s lack of front court. John Wall and Victor Oladipo are both really good plays here as well with Wood out, as this should be the highest total game of the night. Eric Gordon is a great play here as well, as he’ll see even more usage with Wood out. P.J. Tucker is also a solid value with Wood doubtful, and David Nwaba saw 27 minutes off the bench as well, but there is going to be a ton of value on this slate, and I think I’d rather play the value guys from the Clippers with Kawhi and PG out.

5-star play: Bradley Beal, Russell Westbrook, DeMarcus Cousins

4-star play: John Wall, Victor Oladipo, Garrison Matthews

Deeper Value: David Nwaba, P.J. Tucker, Jerome Robinson, Alex Len, Robin Lopez

GPP Sleeper: Cassius Winston, Isaac Bonga, Robin Lopez

New York Knicks @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: Uth -10.5

For the Knicks,  Julius Randle is still crushing, but the price is still very playable given the production, he put on another show last night and he’s been smashing all year long and this is a favorable matchup for him again tonight, as I think the Knicks can keep this one close as they surprisingly are bad against bigs from a fantasy point perspective. The price on RJ Barrett is a solid play, as he’s coming off of a poor shooting night, but the matchup isn’t as good as Utah is one of the better defensive teams in the NBA. Elfrid Payton has triple-double every time he steps on the court but and he’ll see more minutes if Rivers misses again tonight, but with Alec Burks back it limits his upside a bit. Mitchell Robinson has been solid but he’ll see a lot of Gobert tonight so that tempers his ceiling a bit. Immanuel Quickley is also a decent value play tonight, but he’s only in play for me if Rivers misses once again.

From the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell has been white hot the past few games, and while he’s a streaky player he should go underowned here given the pace of this game, but he could break the slate if he keeps shooting like he is. The price on Rudy Gobert is really intriguing as well, he should be able to take advantage of Robinson down low and is in a really nice spot if you’re looking for another cash game center to play outside of Cousins. Mike Conley is a fine secondary option I have no real lean on him in this one at his price tag, especially given all the value we should have on this slate. Lastly, Jordan Clarkson and Bojan Bogdanovic are solid tournament options as scoring threats in this one.

5-star play: Julius Randle, Donovan Mitchell

4-star play: RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson, Mike Conley, Elfrid Payton

Deeper Value: Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks

GPP Sleeper: Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson
