Milwaukee Bucks @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: 225.0

Vegas Spread: Mil -13.5

I’ll get started with the Magic, the big news to watch for here is Aaron Gordon as he is questionable here, not that I really want to play him, but if he’s out it opens up more in this Orlando offense particularly in terms of value. If he’s out again we can go back to guys like James Ennis, Gary Clark, and even gives DJ Augustin a few more opportunities. Nikola Vucevic shredded the Bucks in the first two games of this series but came back down to Earth last game. I still think he’s a great option as that pick and roll will get him open looks at a bunch of three’s. That said, the guys I want to target here are guys that can shoot the three because that’s what the Bucks are going to give up, they’ll make the other team beat them by hitting shots. This means guys like Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross are excellent options and really pretty cheap. Evan Fournier has been non-existent in this series and I keep waiting for him to break out, but I’m getting to a point where I’m going to make him prove it to me before I play him again. Lastly, Markelle Fultz is pretty cheap as well and makes sense as a secondary option or if you’re looking for some value. From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 62.4 DraftKings points per game in six games against the Magic this season, I don’t think I need to tell you that he’s an elite play here. Khris Middleton finally had a decent game last time out, we knew it would come, I’m okay going right back to him here. Eric Bledsoe has at least 28 DraftKings points in all three games in this series, the minutes are consistent a good option in the mid-range at guard if you need one. Lastly, Brook Lopez has back to back games of over 25 DraftKings points after having a dud in game one, he’s a nice pay down option at center should you need one.

5-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Giannis Antetkounmpo

4-star play: Evan Fournier, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Terrence Ross, Markelle Fultz

Deeper Value: Gary Clark, James Ennis

GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez, Eric Bledsoe

Houston Rockets @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Hou -3.5

Starting with the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander struggled to start out this series but has at least 44 DraftKings points in two straight games. This is a great game enviroment for him and a guy I like getting to here. Steven Adams actually ended up played 35 minutes last game which I didn’t think would happen at the beginning of the series. He’s going to produce if he’s out there with how small the Rockets are, he’s a solid option in that price range. Chris Paul is playing massive minutes and should be out there to run this team in hopes to get them back and even up this series. Danilo Gallinari and Dennis Schroeder both have been playing well and are excellent secondary options and are solid in GPPs as well. Lastly, Luguentz Dort will be out there as much as he can in order to guard James Harden, so if you need a dart throw on a guy that’ll see minutes I guess there’s an option for you. From the Rockets, it’s going to be the James Harden hasn’t been as productive as I thought he would be this series with Westbrook out. That said he did come back with a 61 point DraftKings outing last time out. I just think I would prioritize Giannis over him, especially in cash games. Eric Gordon has three straight games of at least 30 DraftKings points, that said, his price has come way up to $6k, I’m not sure I love him at this price tag. Robert Covington has kind of fallen off lately, he’s a full fade for me as Jeff Green is really cutting into his minutes and production. Lastly, I’ll go right back to the Jeff Green well here, he’s getting all the minutes here and running as the team’s big man, his price is perfect as well.

5-star play: James Harden, Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

4-star play: Danuel House, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder, Eric Gordon, Jeff Green

Deeper Value: PJ Tucker

GPP Sleeper: Dennis Schroeder

Indiana Pacers @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: 216.5

Vegas Spread: Mia -6.0

Starting with the Heat, Jimmy Butler will continue to put the team on his back in hopes they can bring out the brooms and sweep the Pacers. I like going right back to him here even at an elevated price tag. Bam Adebayo has had two good games and one bad game in this series, however, that one bad game came because of foul trouble. I’ll go right back to him here, the Pacers are sneaky bad at rebounding so Bam can get in there and get himself a double-double. Goran Dragic has scored at least 30 DraftKings points in six straight games and is the model of consistency here, he’s still too cheap. Lastly, Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro are priced similarly, if I was picking one it would be Herro, he just has more ways to get you there whereas Robinson needs to knock down his threes. From the Pacers, it sounds like everyone is healthy here so we don’t need to worry about anyone potentially sitting. TJ Warren will continue to get this matchup against his “buddy” Jimmy Butler, he’s played well throughout this series and a guy that is certainly in play for GPPs. Myles Turner is playing well and has big upside with the blocks which can boost even a bad fantasy day, I don’t love the price but I’ll consider him here. The guy I want here is Malcolm Brogdon, Brogdon always played well in playoff games for the Bucks and is one of the more consistent producers on the court. He’ll take leadership here and run this offense, I like him a good deal here, and makes for an excellent cash game play at a reasonable price tag coming off a 68 point fantasy outing last time out. Lastly, Victor Oladipo hasn’t really done anything special, he’s more of a GPP option and not someone I’m thrilled to roster.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Malcolm Brogdon

4-star play: Goran Dragic, TJ Warren

Deeper Value: Jae Crowder

GPP Sleeper: Myles Turner, TJ Warren, Victor Oladipo

Los Angeles Lakers @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 224.5

Vegas Spread: Lal -7.5

We’ll get things started with the Blazers here, Damian Lillard is still overpriced even though his production is down, at this price tag I’m going to find the money for one of the four other studs. That said, he’s in play for GPP simply due to his ability to take over a game. Jusuf Nurkic has not looked great in this series, and in a tough matchup, I’m willing to fade him here at a big price tag. CJ McCollum’s back injury doesn’t seem to be impacting his play all that much, as he’s coming off a 51 point fantasy outing last time out, he’s a solid play knowing that he’s going to play big minutes. Carmelo Anthony makes for solid secondary options as well if you fall in this range. Lastly, Hassan Whiteside will start again for this team as they try to clog up the paint a bit. I love the price tag on him here, if he gets 25 minutes like he’s been getting, I like his chances of getting you value. From the Lakers, you know where the production is coming from and it’s LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Both are solid plays here, if I needed to pick one it would be LeBron just because Davis may have his hands full with Nurkic whereas LeBron has nobody that can guard him on Portland. LeBron had a massive game in game one and game three, he’s a guy I’m going to continue to target throughout this series. The only other guy I would really have interest in is Kyle Kuzma, that said, he hasn’t done anything this series, so he’s a deeper GPP play than anything.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, LeBron James, Anthony Davis

4-star play: CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside, Carmelo Anthony, Kyle Kuzma

Deeper Value: Danny Green, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

GPP Sleeper: Kyle Kuzma, Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkic

NBA Lock of the Day: Jeff Green (DK – $5.4k; FD – $5.5k)

Kawhi Leonard was my lock yesterday and came through with 55.75 DraftKings points and was able to hit 5.7x value on his price tag. I’m going to go to Mr. Jeff Green on today’s slate, he’s simply too cheap for the production and opportunity he’s getting. He’s essentially taken that Robert Covington role in this offense and playing all the minutes he can handle. He’s played 37 and 38 minutes in each of his last two games and coming off a massive 43 point fantasy outing last time out. Averaging 35.3 DraftKings points per game against the Thunder is enough to get me interested and at a cheap price tag, I love me some Jeff Green! Tweet me (@MadnessDFS) your lock predictions and if your player gets over 6.5x I’ll give you a shoutout on Twitter, let’s have some fun with this!
