KBO Top Plays – June 2nd

🙌 This KBO Slate locks at 5:30 am EST! 🙌. Not too bad as the fish won’t wake up and edit lineups like the rest of us. Reserve your entries, read this article, check out some of our other tools below and win da monies 💰 It’s as simple as that 😊

PITCHERS

This slate is decent in terms of pitching options. FanDuel is doing website updating so they don’t have any options for us today, so we’ll have to play exclusively on DraftKings for this slate.

Jae-Hak Lee ($8,700)

Lee has solid this season as the Dinos #2 behind an even studlier Koo, take a look – 4.37ERA/1.32 WHIP/9.93 K/9 and 13.1 DK PPG. All of these stats are a bit inflated as he had one really bad start so I expect him to build on the success he had last start. He gets to face an SK team that has the 2nd lowest team ISO in the KBO at .096 and K at a rate of 8.2/9. They also have the 2nd lowest team wOBA at .282 and these are all things we look for when trying to find pitching options. NC is also currently as -222 favorite, so Vegas is in line with my process here as well. He is an ALL format type of play here tonight.

Odrisamer Despaigne ($8,200)

I am intrigued here, as the matchup screams stay away, but Despaigne’s numbers have been top 5 in the KBO so far this year. Check out his line in 5 starts this season – 1.69 ERA/0.94 WHIP/8.7 K/9 and 21 DK PPG. This is a bit more risky of a play though as Doosan is a top 2 offense in the KBO. Despaigne has been really good so far this year though, and I think he’ll be a bit under-owned due to the matchup. He makes for a really good GPP play here tonight, but there is definitely some risk here.

Ki-Young Im ($7,300)

Im should go way under-owned tonight as I think most people will flock to Lee and Despaigne. Im has run into some bad luck lately, but he gets a good matchup here against a Lotte offense that has fallen off of a cliff production-wise over the last 2 weeks. He has made one start already against Lotte as well this year, going 8 innings while allowing 1 run and striking out 4 on his way to a 25 DK FP performance. Currently Lotte ranks dead last in overall team wOBA and team ISO and they average about a K per inning. I love him as a leverage play here and he comes at a nice discount to Lee. Im is an ALL formats play here tonight.

Tae-In Won ($6,800)

Won has found his groove after struggling a bit in his first 3 starts. He put up a monster game in his last start with 31.6 DK FPs. The biggest thing is that he cut down on his walks, and if he continues to do that tonight he should have a solid start here if he can avoid the one-man wrecking crew that is Roberto Ramos. He’s not a big K guy, but we are really limited on our pitching options here tonight as overall it is pretty lackluster. Won is a GPP only play for me due to LG’s offense being solid against RHPs.
