PITCHERS

This is a really ugly pitching slate here tonight, as it’s basically Jokisch and then about 6 feet of poo-slingers, and then the rest of the guys on this slate.

Eric Jokisch ($9,400/$28) – Jokisch is head and shoulders above anyone else on the slate, and he’ll be chalky on both sites but for good reason. He’s a borderline lock for me with how bad the pitching on this slate is, I’ll likely be over on ownership here, especially on FanDuel. He has a miniscule 1.63 ERA and a WHIP of under 1.00. He doesn’t have a ton of K potential but he gets a really good matchup here and should pitch deep into this game. Jokisch is an ALL format type play here tonight, and a borderline lock for me with how bad the pitching on this slate is.

William Cuevas ($8,000/$27) – This play is largely matchup based, as he gets to face off against the worst team in the KBO and worst overall offense in the KBO. He’s been all over the place, as he either shuts people down, or gets lit up, not much in between. He was really sharp in his last start against Lotte, going 7 innings, K’ing 5 and not allowing a run. KT is also currently the highest favorite on the slate at -188. He makes more sense for a CASH type play tonight, given the lack of pitching on this slate he is 2nd safest option here behind Jokisch.

Chan-Heon Jung ($7,100/$28) – Jung has gotten off to a slow start this year, as he started the season injured and has made 5 starts this year, winning his last 3. He’s allowed only 5 ERs over his last 19 2/3 innings pitched, and that last game against Samsung really stands out as it shows his ceiling, in which he struck out 11 guys over 7 innings and ruined the slate. SK is the 2nd worst offense in the KBO and he makes for a great SP2 play here, as I don’t see him being too highly owned on either slate. Jung makes for an ALL format type play for me tonight, as his ceiling is matched only by Jokisch on this horrible pitching slate and he should go underowned as an SP2 on DraftKings.

Ricardo Pinto ($7,700/$24) – Pinto is going to be my GPP special of the night, as he doesn’t get the best of matchups here against this LG team, however, he does a great job of keeping the ball in the park, as he’s allowed only 1 HR this year over 50 2/3 innings. Outside of Ramos, there isn’t much power on this LG team, and aside from his last start where he got roughed up by Kiwoom, he’s allowed less than 2 ERs in 4 of his last 6 starts. Pinto is going to be a GPP only play as the blowup potential is there as LG can string hits together, but if he can keep Ramos in check he should avoid too much damage.

Hitting STACKS

Here are several of my favorite hitting teams for tomorrow. For the purposes of this article, our hitter focus will revolve around teams to stack. You can also see a detailed look at individual hitters by gandering over to at our KBO Cheat sheets! The cheat sheets have core plays highlighted in blue as well as other cash and tournament options.

Tonight’s Cheatsheets are coming alive!  You have time to jump in, save hours of tedious research, and apply our help for the overnight slate.  You unlock core plays to build around, key pieces to stacks, great 4 and 5 star one-offs, and detailed coaching notes providing the why behind the play.

NC (vs Raul Alcantara) – I expect a ton of runs to be scored in this game, as the top 2 offenses in the league face off once again here tonight. I like Doosan a bit more here in this game, as Alcantara is the better overall pitcher, but I don’t expect either guy to go unscathed, and Doosan’s bullpen hasn’t been great this year, so if NC can get his pitch count up early they can score some runs here, love their power upside.

DOO (vs Sung-Young Choi) – I actually prefer Doosan here tonight, as Choi has an ERA just under 7, and he already got lit up by this Doosan team earlier this year as he didn’t make it out of the 4th inning. More upside here but they’ll be heavily owned, but for good reason.

SAMSUNG (vs. Adrian Sampson) – Sampson has been flat out pitiful so far this year, as his attempt to resurrect his career isn’t going the way he planned. He has an ERA just under 6 and he gives up a ton of hits and base runners every game, as shown by his 1.64 WHIP. He doesn’t K many people either, so I expect Samsung to have some success here tonight.

KT (vs. Min-Woo Kim) – KT has scored 23 runs over their last two games and they’re really heating up at the plate. The combo of Rojas and Baek-Ho Kang make for a deadly pairing with big time power upside. I love them as a secondary stack here tonight.
