PITCHERS

We actually have a pretty decent pitching slate here tonight, as we have a few big names pitching tonight in some really solid matchups….now let’s dig in!

Dan Straily ($9,200/$28) – Straily has gone from being a human pitching machine in the MLB, to an absolute stud in the KBO as his ability to pitch to contact really favors his here. Over his last 5 starts, he’s thrown 33 2/3 innings allowing only 4 ERs which is an ERA of 1.07, he has a WHIP of 0.87, 37K’s which averages out to 9.9 K’s/9. He has to face off against this Kia team that has lost 4 of their last 6 and they are scuffling at the plate outside of Tucker and Ryeong-Ho. He shouldn’t have any difficulty here tonight in that department. Lotte is also a strong favorite at -188 and Straily is your top option on a pretty bad pitching slate here tonight. Straily is an ALL format type play here tonight, as he’s been on fire lately with that 1.07 ERA over his last 5 starts.

Mike Wright ($9,500/$27) – NC is also a -188 favorite on the night, and Wright has already shut down this KT squad once already this year. He has some decent K upside in this spot, and if he can get by Rojas and Kang he should cruise in this spot here tonight. I like Straily as your #1 option here tonight, but Wright isn’t too far behind. I expect them to be heavily owned in cash on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Wright is an ALL format type play here tonight, as he has some solid K upside but he’s been pretty consistently safe outside of his last start.

Tyler Wilson ($8,500/$24) – I’m not too high on Wilson here tonight, as it appears that Kiwoom is starting to get it together offensively over their past few games. The bright side with Wilson is that Kiwoom does most of their damage via the longball, and he’s allowed only 1 HR over his last 37 IPs. He doesn’t have as much K upside as the two guys listed above here, but he makes for a really strong GPP play if you are looking to save some salary on both sides. He’s had some success against Kiwoom as well, going 6 1/3 while K’ing 6 and allowing only 2 ERs in his first start against them. Wilson is a GPP only play here tonight, as Kiwoom has been hot, but if he can keep the ball in the park he should have success again here tonight.

Hui-Kwan Yu ($7,200/$26) – Here’s your cheap GPP special of the night as Yu and Doosan are heavy favorites once again here tonight at -175 and he’s been sharp lately. He has a 5-1 W-L record to go along with a 3.68 ERA and he should get plenty of run support again here tonight. He was also lights out in his first start against SK earlier this year, going 7 innings and K’ing 5 while allowing only 1 ER. He doesn’t have as much K upside as other guys on this slate, but he’s cheap, especially on DK. He makes for a really solid GPP option here tonight, especially on DraftKings where he is dirt cheap.

Hitting STACKS

Here are several of my favorite hitting teams for tomorrow. For the purposes of this article, our hitter focus will revolve around teams to stack. You can also see a detailed look at individual hitters by gandering over to at our KBO Cheat sheets! The cheat sheets have core plays highlighted in blue as well as other cash and tournament options.

Tonight’s Cheatsheets are coming alive!  You have time to jump in, save hours of tedious research, and apply our help for the overnight slate.  You unlock core plays to build around, key pieces to stacks, great 4 and 5 star one-offs, and detailed coaching notes providing the why behind the play.

NC (vs Min-S00 Kim) – NC has the best offense in the league and they have guys from top to bottom that have massive power (see Aaron Altherr batting usually 7th or 8th). They get to face off against Kim here tonight, who has an ERA just under 8 and has been getting shelled every single time he takes the mound. They will be chalky here but for good reason.

DOO (vs Jong-Hoon Park) –  Doosan has scored 38 runs over their last 4 games and get to face off against Park who has been a bit up and down this year. Doosan has the 2nd best record in the league, behind only NC and the 2nd best offense to boot. I know it’s cliche to say stack them and NC again here tonight, but it’s been consistently winning money so I’m going to keep doing it until the money train goes elsewhere.

KIW (vs. Tyler Wilson) – This is my hedge stack of the night here, as I recommended Wilson earlier in this article, but this Kiwoom team has been getting it together offensively, and Byung-Ho Park is long overdue for some positive regression as he his hitting around the Mendoza line. Not many people will be on them tonight either.

SAMSUNG (vs. Shi-Hwan Jang) – Samsung has been on fire since starting this Hanwha series, as they’ve scored 23 runs over their last two games and get to face off against a guy with an ERA hovering just under 7 as well. Another great spot for them to succeed once again here tonight as they should be into Hanwha’s bullpen early again tonight.
