PITCHERS

We have another horrible pitching slate tonight, as no one on this list is “safe” but we have a few guys that are better than others. Well lets dig into it!

Tae-In Won ($7,700/$28) – You probably haven’t noticed, but Won has been PHENOMENAL over his last 4 starts…let’s take a look: 25 IP, 2 ERs for a 0.72 ERA to go along with a 1.30 WHIP and 17 K’s. He has a decent matchup here tonight as Kia hasn’t exactly been lighting it up offensively so far this year. With how hot he’s been and how bad the pitching on this slate is, he’s my favorite option on the slate here tonight and he doesn’t break the bank. Won is an ALL format type play here tonight on a slate where pitching is really really really bad and there’s no other way around it.

Jae-Hak Lee ($8,900/$27) – Lee has had some mixed results so far here this year, but he’s the best bunch of a group of bad pitchers that are on this slate. He’s the heaviest favorite on the slate tonight, as of writing this NC sits as a -294 favorite with no one else even coming close to -200. He’s going to be the chalk here tonight, but for good reason as there really isn’t much to choose from. I’d honestly be OK with you going elsewhere here, as the ceiling isn’t very high considering he doesn’t K many people. Lee is going to be a CASH game play here tonight, mostly due to the fact that he gets the best matchup and is the heaviest favorite on the night.

Casey Kelly ($9,300/$24) – Aside from last night, Doosan has been on a pretty big cold streak over the past few weeks. I don’t expect Kelly to go unscathed here, but on a slate where pitching is this bad, he presents a decent value on FanDuel, and makes for a decent option on DraftKings as well. He does have the element of surprise here as well, as Doosan hasn’t faced him so far this year, and with how LG’s offense has been performing over the last few weeks along with the fact that they have Ramos back… he has a really good shot at getting a W here. Kelly is going to be a GPP only play here, as the matchup and price aren’t great, but like I stated he has a solid shot at a W here tonight with how LG has been providing ample run support these last few games.

Warwick Saupold ($8,700/$18) – Saupold has been extremely up and down so far this year in the KBO, as he’s had some masterful performances, but regression has hit him like a ton of bricks over his last few starts. He shut down Doosan in his last start, and gets another tough matchup here against the best offense in the KBO in the NC Dinos. However, he’s already faced them this year having mixed results, but his strength is that he usually keeps the ball in the ballpark as he’s only allowed 2 HR’s on the year. If he limits the walks and doesn’t give up any long balls here, he should do just fine, especially on FanDuel where is price is criminally low. Saupold is a GPP only play here, as the upside is there especially on FanDuel, but the matchup is far from ideal so there is some blow-up potential here tonight.

Hitting STACKS

Here are several of my favorite hitting teams for tomorrow. For the purposes of this article, our hitter focus will revolve around teams to stack. You can also see a detailed look at individual hitters by gandering over to at our KBO Cheat sheets! The cheat sheets have core plays highlighted in blue as well as other cash and tournament options.

Tonight’s Cheatsheets are coming alive!  You have time to jump in, save hours of tedious research, and apply our help for the overnight slate.  You unlock core plays to build around, key pieces to stacks, great 4 and 5 star one-offs, and detailed coaching notes providing the why behind the play.

NC (vs Warwick Saupold) – This is a hedge play here, as I know I recommended Saupold here, but he’s been very hot and cold lately, and more-so on the cold side of things. NC has the best overall offense in the KBO and I’ll have shares of them along with shares of Saupold here tonight, especially since they’re one of the few offenses that are fully healthy here tonight.

LG (vs Jong-Gi Park) – LG has been LIGHTING IT UP this week and they got Ramos back as well which is a major boost in their power department as well. They’ve scored 34 runs over their last 4 games and people still continue to overlook them. Park hasn’t been good for this Doosan team, as most of their pitching staff relies on the run support they get to be successful. I think LG pulls this one out here tonight despite what Vegas says.

KT (vs. Adrian Sampson) – Sampson has been downright awful so far this year, as it looks like his hope of getting his MLB career back on track are slim if he keeps pitching like this. He has an ERA just under 8, and he’s given up 6 ERs in 2 of his 4 starts this year. KT has some big bats in their lineup, especially Rojas and Kang who are both healthy. I like my odds of stacking against him here tonight as he couldn’t even get out of his start against Hanwha without allowing 3 runs.

LOTTE (vs. Hyeong-Jun So) – Lotte has been swinging it well over the past few weeks, especially Dae-Ho Lee (3 HR’s over his last 5) and Jun-Woo Jeon (12 game hitting streak with 3 HR’s over those same 12) and So has been pretty bad as he has an ERA north of 6. I think we see a lot of runs scored in this game on both sides, and I’ll be game stacking it as well on both sides.
