The iRacing Pro Invitational race this week will be at Talladega Superspeedway. We will see some interesting rule changes for this week. Let’s run down the changes we will see:

  • 39 car field including Jeff Gordon
  • Top 3 finishers from Richmond will start from rear of the field (Byron 40th, Hill 39th, Kligerman 38th)
  • Top 10 qualifiers will be inverted. 1st will actually start 10th, 2nd starts 9th.. etc 10th place qualifier will lead the field to the green flag.
  • Draftkings will score based on driver’s qualifying speed. Not based on inversion.
  • 70 lap race with manual cautions and three Green-White-Checkered attempts
  • 1 fast repair available
  • Qualifying scheduled for 12:50 with DFS lock scheduled for 1:10. Both subject to change

The DFS Army is excited to be offering some new tools this week to help its members achieve success at DFS eNASCAR. We will, of course, offer our Domination Station for MME lineup creation. Here is the latest entry list for the race on Sunday!

DFS Strategy

The strategy for both sites are going to be slightly different do to place differential. For DraftKings you have place differential to contend with. Meaning Byron, Kligerman, and Hill will see a ton of ownership starting in the back. ANy driver starting in the back will have elite upside. For FanDuel this will be completely different as place differential is not a part of their scoring system. It will simply be about picking the highest finishing drivers.  We should expect numerous big wrecks just like real life Superspeedway racing. Hitting on the drivers who make it to the end and can finish upfront will, of course, be key for both sites.

This will conclude this edition of eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Preview.
