Full Court Press:

Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: LAL -6.5

Kemba Walker is likely out again tonight, which makes my favorite play from the Celtics Gordon Hayward as he is always in play for his ceiling, despite a tougher matchup. Jaylen Brown is also firmly in play, and is more of the cash game option while Hayward is your GPP guy but with Walker out he’s a really good play here. If Daniel Theis sits, Enes Kanter makes for a solid value play, but I’ll like the guy who starts. Jayson Tatum is also firmly in play here, as he has a 30+% usage rate when Kemba is off the floor but I don’t love the matchup. Marcus Smart is also probable tonight, and draws a nice matchup here as they’ll need his defense

Your two main targets here are going to be LeBron James and Anthony Davis as those two dominate usage. Avery Bradley has picked up his play of late as well, but if I’m going to target value here it’ll be him or Danny Green. Kyle Kuzma is also a fine value play, but I’ll go more in depth here in my Showdown sheet.

5-star plays: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Gordon Hayward

4-star plays: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Daniel Theis

Deeper Value: Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma

GPP Sleeper: Kyle Kuzma

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: DEN -12.5

With KAT out for the forseeable future, this is now going to be D’Angelo Russell’s team. However, he’s also out again tonight, so this will be a very interesting game tonight, as on paper the Nuggets should destroy them here. Malik Beasley and Josh Okogie are also firmly in play here, as they’ve been starting since the big trade and are playing big minutes I like Beasley a lot tonight as he’s been their main scorer since coming over, and won’t have to compete with D.Russ for touches. Naz Reid is also going to take on a bigger role here with KAT out, along with James Johnson, both guys should play big minutes here, I prefer the one who starts Juancho Hernangomez is also in play for value as he’s been playing big minutes as well. Jordan McLaughlin may also draw a start here tonight, and will be a nice value option. The blowout risk is real, but I think the Wolves are more about development right now, so I see these guys playing regardless of the score.

For the Nuggets, it looks like Will Barton is back here, which bumps down Michael Porter Jr.  He’s a decent value especially on FanDuel. Nikola Jokic should have a solid game here, but I don’t really want to pay up at C when I have Whiteside in a much better matchup. Jamal Murray draws a great matchup here, as the Wolves struggle against guards, but the blowout risk is real here. Gary Harris has looked off the past few weeks. That’s about all I really like from the Nuggets here. Maybe some Jordan McRae if you think it gets out of hand early.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Will Barton, Jamal Murray, Naz Reid, Malik Beasley, Juancho Hernangomez

Deeper Value: Jordan McLaughlin, Naz Reid, Malik Beasley

GPP Sleeper: Jordan McLaughlin

Indiana Pacers @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: TOR -5.5

For the Pacers, this is a pretty nice matchup for Domantas Sabonis he’s been a bit volatile as of late but I’ll chalk that up to difficult matchups, and he draws a nice one here, so he should bounce back especially with Gasol continuing to be out. Malcolm Brogdon is still a little underpriced here as well, and Oladipo is doubtful here with a back injury. TJ Warren and Jeremy Lamb will also see a boost with Oladipo off, I actually really like Warren here tonight. Myles Turner is back tonight, but I’m not going there outside of GPPs.

Pascal Siakam is going to be your main play here, as he has been playing really well but I don’t think he has a crazy ceiling against this Pacers team. Kyle Lowry also gets a great matchup here, as he’s destroyed the Pacers the past 2 games they’ve played. Fred VanVleet is also firmly in play for GPPs, but I prefer Lowry. Serge Ibaka is also a nice GPP play but he is a bit volatile even with Marc Gasol still out. There’s not a ton to love here, as this should be one of the slower paced games tonight.

5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowry, Domantas Sabonis

4-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, TJ Warren, Fred VanVleet, Serge Ibaka

Deeper Value: Jeremy Lamb

GPP Sleeper: Jeremy Lamb, Serge Ibaka

Washington Wizards @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: EVEN

Bradley Beal is still an elite play here, as the Wizards will need his scoring here tonight and the Bulls can’t defend guards at all. Thomas Bryant is a GTD tonight, and if he is out then Mahimni and Moe Wagner will split minutes at the 5. If Mahinmi is out again then Wagner makes for an elite value play only if both those guys are out. Davis Bertans and Ish Smith are also firmly in play for GPPs and won’t break the bank. Ish should see solid run here as well and will likely draw the start, however, if Shabazz Napier ends up getting the start, Napier is going to be the guy I want.

This is probably going to be the game to target here, as both these teams play very fast and with very little defense. Zach LaVine is going to be your main target on this Bulls team, as he put up 58 FPs on the Wizards not too long ago. Thad Young has also been playing out of his mine the past few games with Hutchison out, and he is out again tonight. Shaq Harrison and Coby White also make for some nice value plays, although I’d like Shaq more if he starts. Ryan Arcidiacono has been starting for the Bulls, and makes for a decent value as well, but his upside is limited here.

5-star play: Bradley Beal, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Thad Young, Coby White, Thomas Bryant, Davis Bertans, Ish Smith

Deeper Value: Shabazz Napier, Moe Wagner, Shaq Harrison, Ryan Arcidiacono

GPP Sleeper: Shabazz Napier, Moe Wagner

San Antonio Spurs @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 221.5

Vegas Spread: OKC -5.0

For the Spurs, it looks like DeMar Derozan is gonna be your main target, as he always destroys the Thunder for some unknown reason, but I’m not really loving this game as both these teams are defensive minded. LaMarcus Aldridge sees a usage downgrade with Derozan back, and draws a tough matchup against Adams, but he’s still in play here. I don’t really like anyone outside of those two guys for the Spurs, as this game isn’t really one we want to target. Derrick White would be a value option if you need one with how well he’s been playing. Dejounte Murray has also been playing really well over the past 2 weeks.

For the Thunder, their guards draw a decent matchup here, namely Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as both are playing 30+ minutes and the Spurs are susceptible to guards. Steven Adams will also have to play heavy minutes to bag bodies with Aldridge so he’s a bit underpriced here as well. Nerlens Noel is also a nice value play here as he’s been playing 20+ minutes a game and can get you 25-35 FPs. Dennis Schroder has also been playing really well along with Danilo Gallinari, both are solid GPP plays here tonight as well, as the Thunder will need their scoring to keep up here tonight.

5-star play: DeMar Derozan

4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Steven Adams, Chris Paul, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroder, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dejounte Murray

Deeper Value: Dennis Schroder, Nerlens Noel, Derrick White

GPP Sleeper: Dejounte Murray

New Orleans Pelicans @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: NOP -8.0

Brandon Ingram is back and healthy, which will put a cap on both he and Zion Williamson’s ceiling, but both are great plays against a team that doesn’t play defense. Lonzo Ball and Jrue Holiday are also in play here, but with Ingram back it also limits Holiday’s ceiling as well. Josh Hart should still see some big minutes off the bench, and this should be one of the highest scoring games on the night. Derrick Favors also draws a favorable matchup here as the Warriors are a mess in their front court as well.

For the Warriors, Draymond Green has already been ruled out tonight so Marquese Chriss, Eric Paschall, and Andrew Wiggins will likely be your 3 main options for the Warriors tonight. All 3 of those guys should play heavy minutes and dominate usage. Jordan Poole and Damion Lee are also going to be playing big minutes, with my preference going to Poole here. Ky Bowman and Juan Toscano-Anderson are also deeper GPP plays that could pay off here.

5-star play: Zion Williamson, Andrew Wiggins

4-star play: Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, Marquese Chriss, Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole

Deeper Value: Ky Bowman, Juan Toscano-Anderson

GPP Sleeper: Juan Toscano-Anderson

Detroit Pistons @ Portland Trail Blazers

Vegas Total: 225

Vegas Spread: POR -4.5

For the Pistons, your main target is likely going to be Christian Wood here, as he’s really taken over for this team and is their main option on offense. Derrick Rose is also going to be in play for GPPs here, as he has elite upside as long as he plays, and the Blazers are really bad at defending the PG position. Thon Maker also draws a favorable matchup here, and has actually been playing pretty well since Drummond left town. Langston Galloway will also continue to play big minutes off the bench and is a deeper GPP play as well.

From the Blazers, CJ McCollum is going to be your premier play here, as Dame has already been ruled out, he’ll be chalk, but it’ll be good chalk as he has a 35% usage rating with Dame off the court. Hassan Whiteside has been a bit volatile as of late but I don’t mind going right back to him tonight as he’ll take on a bigger offensive role with Dame off the court and the Pistons front court is a mess as well. Carmelo Anthony and Trevor Ariza are fine GPP options, with my preference going to Carmelo. Anfernee Simons and Gary Trent Jr. will also be in play for value here, as both see boosts with Dame out.

5-star play: CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside

4-star play: Derrick Rose, Christian Wood, Carmelo Anthony

Deeper Value: Thon Maker, Langston Galloway, Trevor Ariza, Gary Trent Jr., Anfernee Simons

GPP Sleeper: Gary Trent Jr., Anfernee Simons
