Full Court Press:

Los Angeles Clippers @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 225.5

Vegas Spread: PHI -1.0

Starting with the Clippers, the main two guys you’ll want to target is obviously going to be Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. They lead the team in usage, and both will likely need to come out to play here if the Clippers want to win this game. Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams will also likely play heavy minutes here, as they are their two best players off the bench. However, outside of these guys there isn’t much to like on the Clippers.

For the Sixers, Joel Embiid is back and draws an elite matchup here against that weak Clippers interior. He has beasted against them in the past so I expect him to do it again. Ben Simmons is going to be my favorite of the remaining three as Pat Beverley is likely out again tonight, but I wouldn’t pair him and Embiid. Tobias Harris is also in play for cash games. Al Horford is also in play here more for GPPs.  Josh Richardson is back and is dirt cheap especially on FanDuel. Furkan Korkmaz makes for a deeper GPP play, as he seemingly can’t miss right now.

5-star plays: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Joel Embiid

4-star plays: Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Montrezl Harrell, Lou Williams

Deeper Value: Josh Richardson, Furkan Korkmaz

GPP Sleeper: Furkan Korkmaz

Chicago Bulls @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 230

Vegas Spread: WSH -3.5

For the Bulls, your main guy is going to be Zach LaVine as he checks a lot of the boxes I look for for fantasy. Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter are likely out again tonight, which opens value for both Cristiano Feliciano and Luke Kornet, along with Thaddeus Young. However, I’m not going out of my way to play those guys. Ryan Arcidiacono has been playing well off the bench and is dirt cheap as well. Chandler Hutchison has also been filling up the stat sheet and makes for a decent value play as well.

Bradley Beal is still an elite play here, as the Wizards will need his scoring here tonight as the both of these teams are pretty lax on defense. Thomas Bryant is out tonight, which opens the door for both Ian Mahinmi and Moritz Wagner to play big minutes as they’ll likely split the minutes at C. Davis Bertans and Ish Smith are also firmly in play for GPPs and won’t break the bank. Ish should see solid run here as well and will likely draw the start again. Shabazz Napier was also added to the Wizards, he’s a decent play off the bench, but if they end up starting him tonight then I’ll have a lot more interest.

5-star play: Bradley Beal, Zach Lavine

4-star play: Davis Bertans, Thaddeus Young, Chandler Hutchison

Deeper Value: Ish Smith, Shabazz Napier, Moritz Wagner, Ryan Arcidiacono

GPP Sleeper: Moritz Wagner

San Antonio Spurs @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: EVEN

For the Spurs, a lot is going to depend on the health of DeMar Derozan, as he sat last night. If he is out, then I’ll have some serious interest in both LaMarcus Aldridge and Dejounte Murray as they were the guys who performed with him out last night. Pop is weird though so one of those guys may even sit on a B2B as well. Derrick White and Trey Lyles have also been playing well for value and are deeper GPP shots, along with Patty Mills.

For the Thunder, their guards draw a really solid matchup here, namely Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as both are playing 30+ minutes and the Spurs have been struggling against guards all year long. Steven Adams also is way too cheap on FanDuel and is trending upward everywhere, I don’t love the matchup but he is just too cheap. Nerlens Noel is also a nice value play here as he’s been playing 20+ minutes a game and can get you 25-35 FPs. Dennis Schroder has also been playing really well along with Danilo Gallinari, both are solid GPP plays here tonight as well.

5-star play: Chris Paul, Shai-Gilgeous Alexander

4-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, Dejounte Murray, DeMar Derozan, Steven Adams, Danilo Gallinari

Deeper Value: Dennis Schroder, Nerlens Noel, Patty Mills, Derrick White, Trey Lyles

GPP Sleeper: Patty Mills, Steven Adams

Portland Trail Blazers @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: EVEN

From the Blazers, CJ McCollum is back, but that hasn’t slowed down Damian Lillard as the bucket seems to be as big as an ocean for him right now. They are both in play here tonight, but my preference is obviously going to be Dame with the monster games he’s been putting up, especially given the fact that the Pelicans can’t defend PGs to save their lives. Hassan Whiteside has been a bit volatile as of late but I don’t mind going right back to him in GPPs, as he grades out as the 2nd best C on the night behind Embiid. Lastly, Carmelo Anthony and Trevor Ariza are fine GPP options, with my preference going to Carmelo. Gary Trent Jr. has also been seeing some solid minutes off the bench and has been playing well.

For the Pelicans, if Lonzo Ball sits again then I’ll be going right back to Jrue Holiday as he’ll be way too cheap and had a monster game last time out. Zion Williamson also gets a great matchup here, as Carmelo simply doesn’t play defense and Zion should out hustle him all game long. Derrick Favors also draws a favorable matchup as Whiteside is very poor defensively. Josh Hart has been playing big minutes off the bench and is a decent value play here as well. This will be one of my favorite games to target outside of the hammer game.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, Hassan Whiteside, Jrue Holiday, Zion Williamson

4-star play: Derrick Favors, Lonzo Ball, CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony

Deeper Value: Trevor Ariza, Gary Trent Jr.

GPP Sleeper: Gary Trent Jr.

Boston Celtics @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: 231

Vegas Spread: HOU -2.5

The Celtics are basically back to full strength, and they’re going to need it tonight against the Rockets. Kemba Walker is going to firmly be in play here, as Westbrook doesn’t play D and he is way too cheap again. Gordon Hayward draws another elite matchup and checks a lot of boxes for me here as well, he has the higher ceiling of him and Jaylen Brown and will see a boost if Brown is out as he rolled his other ankle last game. Jaylen Brown is also firmly in play, and is more of the cash game option while Hayward is your GPP guy, however, he rolled his ankle last game so he may not play in this one. Jayson Tatum is also firmly in play here, as he draws an elite matchup here as the Rockets struggle against stretch 4s. Marcus Smart is also probable tonight, and draws a nice matchup if he starts in place of Jaylen Brown. Daniel Theis is also in play if he starts again tonight and if he starts, bump down Enes Kanter.

For the Rockets, my preference is actually going to go to Russell Westbrook tonight, as he sat last game and should be fresh for the Rockets 3rd game in 4 night. James Harden is still going to be a 5 star play here as well, but I like the discount you get with Russ, plus Russ kills the Celtics. Danuel House Jr. has been playing really well as well and will likely play some solid minutes again tonight. Their new addition Robert Covington should also see an uptick in minutes here tonight as he settles into this rotation. PJ Tucker unfortunately checks a lot of boxes for me tonight as well, but he is very fluky so be careful there.

5-star play: Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward

4-star play: Jayson Tatum, Robert Covington, Danuel House Jr., Marcus Smart

Deeper Value: Daniel Theis

GPP Sleeper: Robert Covington, PJ Tucker, Daniel Theis
