Full Court Press:

Brooklyn Nets @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total: 220

Vegas Spread: Ind -7.0

Starting with the Nets, Spencer Dinwiddie finally had a bounce-back game last time out going for 49.5 DraftKings points. I don’t love the matchup with the Pacers, but he is averaging 42.1 DraftKings points in two games against them this season. Caris LeVert has been the biggest beneficiary of Irving being out, he has scored at least 39 DraftKings points in three straight games and grasping a lot of that usage. Jarrett Allen has been volatile as of late due to lack of minutes, he’s a fade here for me. DeAndre Jordan, on the other hand, is coming off a 40 point fantasy night and may be worth a GPP flier. From the Pacers, big men against the Nets continue to be something I’ll have interest in, he’s averaging 48 DraftKings points per game in two games against them this season. Malcolm Brogdon had quite the game against the Nets earlier this season in which he scored 57.5 DraftKings points, he’s priced about right here, however. TJ Warren is all over the place with his production, he’s strictly a GPP guy. I love the price on Victor Oladipo here, he played 28 minutes in his last game on his way to 25 DraftKings points, I will have a lot of him in hopes he hits that 30-minute mark. Lastly, you can make a case for Myles Turner in GPPs as well, however, he’s struggled in this matchup this season.

5-star play: Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LeVert, Domantas Sabonis, Victor Oladipo

4-star play: DeAndre Jordan, Malcolm Brogdon

Deeper Value: Victor Oladipo

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb, Jarrett Allen, Myles Turner

Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young went bananas in a double-overtime game last night in which he played 48 minutes on his way to 73 DraftKings points. I don’t like this spot quite as much but he’s shown an elite ceiling against almost all teams, great GPP option. John Collins has seven straight games of 40+ DraftKings points, he’s a great play and coming off a similarly huge game. Kevin Huerter is playing all the minutes he can handle right now and makes for a great play in all formats although his price is starting to get up there. From the Magic, Nikola Vucevic is coming off a 50 burger against the Bucks but has been pretty average against the Hawks this season. With Capela still out I don’t have an issue going right back to him here, however. This is the type of spot where Aaron Gordon should be able to take advantage and is in pretty good form, I have no issue with him for GPPs. The same can be said for Markelle Fultz, in what should be a fun matchup between him and young. Lastly, Evan Fournier makes sense as a secondary option and should be able to get up a decent amount of shots in an up-tempo game.

5-star play: Trae Young, Nikol Vucevic

4-star play: Kevin Huerter, John Collins, Markelle Fultz, Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Aaron Gordon, Markelle Fultz

Charlotte Hornets @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham is coming off a 50 burger and is averaging 41.8 DraftKings points in three games against the Pistons this season. Terry Rozier isn’t in the best form but he is averaging 32.3 DraftKings points per game in three games against the Pistons this season, he makes sense as a secondary option. Miles Bridges is on some kind of heater over the past four games scoring at least 34 DraftKings points in three of them. Marvin Williams was bought out by the Hornets and led PJ Washington to see 29 minutes against the Mavs, I’m interested to see if this is a more consistent 30+ minute guy due to this transaction. From the Pistons, Andre Drummond was traded to the Cavs which opens up a ton of usage and minutes in that frontcourt. We saw both Thon Maker and Christian Wood in two games without Drummond since the deadline, but it seems as if Wood will be the more consistent producer. I would expect Maker’s production to fall off when John Henson becomes more available for this team. Wood is seeing 1.27 fantasy points per minute with Drummond off the court this season and makes a lot of sense as the new starting big man for this team.  Reggie Jackson is in pretty good form but has gotten to a price where I really don’t love him especially if Derrick Rose plays, he’s currently questionable.

5-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Christian Wood

4-star play: Terry Rozier, Miles Bridges, Reggie Jackson, Derrick Rose

Deeper Value: John Henson

GPP Sleeper: PJ Washington, John Henson

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Wolves, it doesn’t sound like D’Angelo Russell will be questionable here, so keep an eye on him in case something changes. Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a pretty massive 57.25 fantasy outing last game in which the Wolves impressively put up 142 points on the Clippers, I don’t love the matchup, but he’s pretty matchup proof. Josh Okogie is a pretty bland play for me, there are other flashier guards on this team I like more if Russell is out. Jordan Mclaughlin dropped 48 DraftKings points last time out and will likely get the start if Russell is forced to sit again and would be a solid play in that scenario. Jarrett Culver is in terrible form and is a fade for me until he figures some things out. Lastly, it looks like the wolves may have found their new two-guard in Malik Beasley who went for 48 DraftKings points last time out, I like him again here. From the Raptors, Kyle Lowry is currently questionable while Norman Powell is still out. If Lowry plays he becomes a very viable play against a bad defense. If he sits again, I’ll go right back to Fred VanVleet who should play all the minutes he can handle here and I would expect him to be up near that 40-minute mark in a great matchup against a Wolves team that doesn’t play much defense. He has a 27% usage rate and 1.19 fantasy points per minute with Lowry and Powell out this season. This is a great Pascal Siakam spot, targeting big men against the Wolves has been profitable all season and KAT is not someone I’m afraid of on defense. With these guys out for the Raptors, he sees 1.26 fantasy points per minute and he scored 64 DraftKings points against them earlier this season. Serge Ibaka is in play if Gasol is out again, but if Gasol is in I’ll likely fade both. Lastly, Terence Davis should see minutes in the 30’s here with Lowry and Powell out and has at least 35 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and makes a lot of sense as a value option here.

5-star play: Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star play:  Serge Ibaka, Terence Davis, Kyle Lowry (if active), Jordan Mclaughlin (if starting), Malik Beasley

Deeper Value: Terrance Davis

GPP Sleeper: Jordan Mclaughlin, Malik Beasley

Sacramento Kings @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Kings, I like De’Aaron Fox scored 56.3 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season and I won’t talk you off him here if you think he can follow that up. Nemanja Bjelica is also a great play here at a very nice price with Bagley and Holmes out again, he’ll likely see some open threes against this Bucks defense. The same can be said for Buddy Hield who is coming off a nice 53.5 fantasy outing last time out, both guys seem underpriced. Lastly, Bogdan Bogdanovic has played good minutes as of late but pretty volatile, he’s more of a GPP flier at best. From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable here as he awaits the arrival of his first child, if he plays he’s an elite play, plain and simple. If he sits, this slate turns on its side and would become chalk city for the Bucks. Anytime Giannis is out we can basically rule Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, and Ersan Ilyasova great plays. If he does play, Ersan isn’t in play and Middleton and Bledsoe would be secondary options. Lastly, Brook Lopez is a nice GPP play no matter the scenario we are looking at against an undersized Kings frontcourt.

***Side note – If this baby does come during the game, I do think Giannis would leave to attend the birth, but something we may be able to monitor as the day goes on, keep your eye on it.***

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Ersan Ilyasova (all three if Giannis is out), De’Aaron Fox

4-star play: Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe (if Giannis plays), Buddy Hield, Nemanja Bjelica

Deeper Value: Harry Giles

GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez

Utah Jazz @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 222

Vegas Spread: Pick ’em

Starting with the Jazz, Rudy Gobert scored 55.8 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season, I have no issue going right back to Gober there. Donovan Mitchell also had a big game in this matchup, going for 46.5 DraftKings points, I don’t necessarily love him here but I won’t talk you off of him. Bojan Bogdanovic continues to play at a high level, I like him in all formats, if he gets hot he has a decent GPP ceiling as well. Mike Conley has played very well over his last four games scoring at least 32 DraftKings points in each of them, he’s too cheap given his production right now. From the Mavericks, Luka Doncic is still out here and at this point, we have a pretty nice sample size on how the rest of the team is performing with him off the court.

  • Kristaps Porzingis – 29.6% usage rate; 1.45 fpm
  • Jalen Brunson – 22.5% usage rate; 1.02 fpm
  • Delon Wright – 17.8% usage rate; 1.06 fpm
  • Tim Hardaway – 24.6% usage rate; 0.84 fpm
  • JJ Barea – 28.1% usage rate; 1.31 fpm – not really an option unless starting due to his minute volatility.

Porzingis has been the guy you want on this team with Doncic out, he has 50+ DraftKings points in three of his last four games and should be able to do what he wants against this Hornets frontcourt. Jalen Brunson is at a price that I don’t love but the opportunity is there for him. Tim Hardaway also has at least 38 DraftKings points in two of his last four games but is more of a GPP option.

5-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Rudy Gobert

4-star play:  Jalen Brunson, Tim Hardaway, Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Delon Wright, Seth Curry, Tim Hardaway

San Antonio Spurs @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total: 221.5

Vegas Spread: Den -7.5

Starting with the Spurs, this isn’t a great spot for DeMar DeRozan as the Nuggets are one of the slowest teams in the league and one of the better defensive teams as well. The same can be said for LaMarcus Aldridge I really don’t like targeting big men against Jokic down low. The only other Spurs player that I have any interest in is Dejounte Murray as he comes off a 48.75 fantasy game, but only GPPs as he has been pretty volatile. Really not a team that I have a ton of interest in. Fron the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic is dominating right now and should be able to do what he likes here against Aldridge and this Spurs frontcourt. He’s playing close to 40 minutes lately and has at least 69 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. Will Barton is out again here and Jamal Murray’s minutes are way back as he played 43 and 35 minutes in his last two games. The Spurs have struggled all season long against guards, I like him quite a bit here. Jerami Grant should continue to play amount 30 minutes per game but may take a production hit with Paul Millsap back and active. Lastly, Jordan McRae was traded to this team and I would expect him to take that Malik Beasley role in this offense, so look out for him, but right now he’s too expensive.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray

4-star play: Dejounte Murray, DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge, Paul Millsap, Jerami Grant

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dejounte Murray, Paul Millsap

Miami Heat @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Heat, Jimmy Butler has been ruled questionable here after missing last night’s game, below is how the rest of the team fares with he and Tyler Herro off the court;

  • Goran Dragic – 26.8% usage rate; 1.21 fpm
  • Duncan Robinson – 13.9% usage rate; 0.75 fpm
  • Bam Adebayo – 25.4% usage rate; 1.57 fpm
  • Kendrick Nunn – 23.1% usage rate; 1.06 fpm

I love me some Adebayo here as he sees a huge boost with Butler out. If Butler winds up playing he makes sense as a solid play as well if he doesn’t have any kind of limitation. Both Goran Dragic and Kendrick Nunn are great plays as well. Lastly, newly acquired Jae Crowder had a massive game last night and is probably too cheap for his new role especially with Leonard still out for this team. From the Warriors, we’ve got a lot to dig into, as they’ve traded Russell, Robinson, and Burks at the deadline. Andrew Wiggins looked pretty good in his first game as a Warrior, I don’t love him here but you can make a case for GPPs on him. Draymond Green should be good to go here, I don’t necessarily love him either but is a triple-double threat anytime he takes the court. Damion Lee isn’t getting the minutes that I thought he would with Burks and Robinson out of town, he’s a GPP flier at best in a tough matchup. We saw Eric Paschall is probably too expensive for me here especially with Looney starting to get more minutes. Speaking of Looney, I like Kevon Looney as a value option for GPPs if you can stomach it, they will want to get this guy back up in the high 20’s when they can after giving him a bigger contract this offseason. Ky Bowman should continue to start at point guard, I like the price on him and makes for a nice value option. Lastly, Marquese Chriss had a massive game last time out, I don’t hate chasing it for GPPs, but not someone that I’ll have a ton of ownership on.

5-star play: Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn (if Butler is out)

4-star play: Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn (if Butler is in), Jimmy Butler, Andrew Wiggins, Ky Bowman, Draymond Green

Deeper Value: Ky Bowman

GPP Sleeper: Marquese Chriss

Phoenix Suns @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: 228.5

Vegas Spread: Lal -12.5

Starting with the Suns, DeAndre Ayton had a massive bounce-back performance against the Nuggets in which he went for 61.75 DraftKings points. He’s currently questionable here but if he plays I like him even in a tougher matchup, he’s proven he can handle it. Devin Booker has been pretty consistent as of late and is averaging 41.1 DraftKings points in two matchups with the Lakers this season. Kelly Oubre, on the other hand, is struggling in those two matchups, I still love the ceiling on him and completely fine with going with him in GPPs. That basically concludes my interest on this team until Ricky Rubio gets back into form. From the Lakers, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both in elite spots here. I tend to just go with the cheaper of the two as they have pretty similar upsides and floors, both are elite plays here.  The only other Laker that I really have any interest in is Kyle Kuzma but he’s more of a GPP flier if anything, not a guy that I’m in love with on a big slate.

5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis

4-star play: Kelly Oubre, DeAndre Ayton, Devin Booker

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kyle Kuzma, Kelly Oubre, Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton
