Full Court Press:

Washington Wizards @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 229

Vegas Spread: Tor -10.0

Starting with the Wizards, Bradley Beal has played just 27 minutes in back to back games since returning from injury. We’ve also seen his price come way down. I think you can make a good case for him in GPPs in case he gets back up near 35 minutes. With Beal back in, I think Jordan McRae is a bit too expensive and I’ll wait for that price to come down a bit. Troy Brown saw his minutes kind of disappear last game and I would expect this to continue as this team begins to get healthy. Ish Smith continues to play well but with Bradley Beal back I would expect his shots and usage to go down, more of a deep GPP option for me. Davis Bertans has seen his minutes increase slowly over his past two games and I would expect him to be around the 30 mark here, I love the price on him even in a tougher matchup. From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has played 30 minutes in each of his two games since returning from injury. This is an elite matchup, I like him quite a bit at a discounted price tag. Kyle Lowry currently leads the league in minutes and scored 45.5 Draftkings in this matchup earlier this season, I like him a good deal as well. Serge Ibaka has 40+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games. With Siakam and Gasol back you might expect his usage to go down, but it’s a nice matchup so I don’t hate going back to him. Lastly, I don’t love the price on Norman Powell but you could make a case for deep GPPs as long as Fred VanVleet doesn’t play, who will likely be on a minute restriction regardless.

5-star play: Bradley Beal, Pascal Siakam

4-star play: Kyle Lowry, Davis Bertans, Serge Ibaka

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Ish Smith, Ish Smith, Jordan McRae

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 229

Vegas Spread: Mem -8.0

Starting with the Cavs, this is a huge pace up spot for them so we should be able to find a few pieces we like. Kevin Love feels far too cheap here as he scored 42 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season. This isn’t a great matchup for Tristan Thompson but you can go there as a secondary play due to his recent form. I love Collin Sexton here, the Grizzlies play fast and loose while struggling with opposing point guards all season long. Lastly, Darius Garland has 30+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games and is in a similar spot as Sexton. From the Grizzlies, Ja Morant looked incredible last game and certainly passed the eye test. He has 40+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games making him viable at an elevated price tag. Jonas Valanciunas scored 43.5 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season, I like him a lot for GPPs. Lastly, Jaren Jackson and Dillion Brooks make sense as secondary plays.

5-star play: Kevin Love, Collin Sexton

4-star play: Ja Morant, Jonas Valanciunas, Darius Garland, Dillion Brooks, Jaren Jackson

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson

Chicago Bulls @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 216.5

Vegas Spread: Phi -7.5

Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine has been playing out of his mind and playing a ton of minutes, I like him here as he saw his price go down after dropping 52.75 Draftkings points last game. Lauri Markkanen has finally seen his price come down a bit, that said he’s just been in bad form and this is a tough matchup. Lastly, Tomas Satoransky, Kris Dunn, and Thaddeus Young make sense as deep GPP options if you want to get more exposure to this game. From the Sixers, Ben Simmons is playing huge minutes and has at least 43 Draftkings points in three straight games, this is a nice matchup for him with Embiid still out. Tobias Harris is coming off one of his better games of the season scoring 56 Draftkings points. He sees a boost with Embiid out, but his price is at a point where I don’t love it. Al Horford has at least 33 Draftkings points in four straight games and is filling in nicely at the five with Embiid out. This is a nice matchup for him with Carter out for the Bulls. Lastly, Josh Richardson is a secondary cash option on a big slate.

5-star play: Zach LaVine, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford

4-star play: Josh Richardson, Tomas Satoransky, Kris Dunn

Deeper Value: Matisse Thybulle

GPP Sleeper: Kris Dunn, Coby White

Miami Heat @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Heat, Bam Adebayo has been kind of volatile as of late, I don’t love the matchup for him, but he’s still a solid GPP play due to his upside. Jimmy Butler is coming off a dud game last time out but is still playing huge minutes, I like him as a secondary play here. Justise Winslow didn’t waste any time getting back on the injury report, he’s going to go see a specialist on his back, but will be out for this one. This means a boost for Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn, and Tyler Herro. Dragic and Nunn are GPP options while I’ll likely fade Herro who is questionable anyway. From the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander followed up his career game nicely going for 45 Draftkings points, I think you can keep riding the hot hand here and go back to him in GPPs in particular. Steven Adams left last game early but isn’t on the injury report here. It’s not a great matchup, however, he makes for a fine GPP option. Chris Paul has scored at least 36 Draftkings points in five of his last six games, it’s not a great matchup for anyone on this team, he’s fine for GPPs. Danilo Gallinari makes sense as a secondary play in all formats while Dennis Schroeder is more of a GPP play as he’s not in the best of form.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler

4-star play: Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Danilo Gallinari

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kendrick Nunn, Tyler Herro, Steven Adams, Dennis Schroeder

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pacers, it looks like everybody is healthy that is supposed to be healthy here which is great for this matchup. Domantas Sabonis scored 58.25 Draftkings points in this matchup on Wednesday. This is a great spot for him as the Wolves play very little defense, he’s also been one of the more consistent players in the league this season. Malcolm Brogdon is finally back and wasted no time getting back to his early-season self, he scored 37 Draftkings points in this matchup last time out. Myles Turner is one of the more volatile pieces of this team, I like him for GPPs as a matchup with KAT (if he plays) really doesn’t scare me. Lastly, both TJ Warren and Jeremy Lamb are GPP plays in a nice matchup. From the Wolves, there is a bit of news here as Jeff Teague was traded on Thursday which will free up minutes for guys like Shabazz Napier and Jarrett Culver, both are nice secondary options here. Karl-Anthony Towns has been questionable for about a month now and has yet to play. At this point, I’m going to operate under the assumption that he’s out until he returns. Even if he returns here I won’t have any interest as I would think he would be on some kind of minute restriction. Andrew Wiggins has been held to under 22 Draftkings points in three straight games, I’ll wait for him to be in better form. On the other hand, Robert Covington has scored 35+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games, he’s a nice secondary option. Gorgui Dieng bounced back nicely last game in this matchup, I love the price on him if KAT is out again.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon

4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Myles Turner, Robert Covington, Jarrett Culver, Shabazz Napier

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Gorgui Dieng, Jarrett Culver, TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb

Atlanta Hawks @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: 230.5

Vegas Spread: Sas -8.5

Starting with the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge has come back down to Earth over his past few games but is still producing some very consistent Draftkings outings lately. That said, he feels way too cheap in an incredible matchup here. DeMar DeRozan followed up his 63 points Draftkings game nicely with a 44 point game and a 49 point game. This is an elite spot for him as well against the Hawks who play very little defense. I love the price on Dejounte Murray who has proven he can be a nice point per minute guy, he’s a nice GPP play. From the Hawks, they just acquired Jeff Teague from the Wolves so we will have to see if he’s active here. If he is, I’ll use this game as a wait and see game. The Spurs have struggled with opposing point guards all season which makes me love Trae Young, he scored 57.5 Draftkings points in this spot earlier this season. John Collins has 40+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games, he makes for a nice GPP option. Kevin Huerter is coming off a career game where he dropped 58 Draftkings points but also saw a massive price increase, GPP only for me as is the rest of this team.

5-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan, Trae Young

4-star play: Dejounte Murray, John Collins, Kevin Huerter

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dejounte Murray, John Collins, Kevin Huerter

Portland Trailblazers @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Blazers, Damian Lillard scored 42.8 Draftkings points in his last game in this matchup. I don’t love him here however, the Mavs are one of the best teams in the league against opposing point guards. Hassan Whiteside has been a little volatile over the past few games, but this Mavs team doesn’t scare me down low, I like him for GPPs. Both CJ McCollum and Carmelo Anthony are in pretty good form and make for decent GPP options in what should be a pretty high scoring game. From the Mavericks, I don’t need to tell you that Luka Doncic is an elite play. But, I will tell you that he has scored less than 47 Draftkings points in three of his last four games and Kristaps Porzingis may be back here. Doncic loses 1.5% usage when Porzingis is on the court, which isn’t a whole lot in the grand scheme of things, but he’s not in great form and at this price tag you really want to be confident in your guy, and I don’t know if I am. All that said, he’s a walking triple-double and coming off of a 70 point Draftkings game, so don’t let me talk you off of him if you like the spot. Other than Doncic I don’t have a whole lot of interest in anyone on this team if Porzingis plays. If he’s out again you can go back to the Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber well.

5-star play: Luka Doncic

4-star play: Damian Lillard, Carmelo Anthony, CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside, Dwight Powell

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Damian Lillard, Carmelo Anthony, Maxi Kleber
