Full Court Press:

Detroit Pistons @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pistons, we know that Andre Drummond (C) is the guy to go to here as he is averaging 57 Draftkings points per game this season. If Myles Turner is out again I will have a decent amount of Drummond, he is just on a tear here in a contract year looking to prove himself. Derrick Rose (PG) won’t play again here which will open up minutes for Luke Kennard (SG) and Bruce Brown Jr. (SG), I will have interest in both guys even in a tough matchup. Those are my biggest interests from this team, but guys like Christian Wood (PF), Markieff Morris (PF) and Langston Galloway (SG) are all solid GPP flyers as well. From the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon (SG) continues to dominate and is averaging 46.6 Draftkings points per game this season and gets a great matchup against a Pistons team that plays very little defense. He’s priced up, but he should be, he’s a solid play on this slate. Myles Turner (C) is questionable for this game so keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates. If he’s out again I would expect Domantas Sabonis (PF) to slide over and play the five again and would get a very difficult matchup against Drummond. With Turner off the court, this season Sabonis has just a 22% usage rate but is getting 1.2 fantasy points per minute.  Jeremy Lamb (SG) has already been ruled out which will open up minutes and usage for guys like TJ Warren (SF) and Aaron Holliday (SG).

5-star plays: Malcolm Brogdon (SG), Domantas Sabonis (PF), Andre Drummond (C)

4-star plays: Luke Kennard (SG), Bruce Brown (SG) TJ Warren (SF)

Deeper Value: JaKar Sampson, Aaron Holliday, Langston Galloway

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Christian Wood

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 228.5

Vegas Spread: Was -5.0

Starting with the Cavaliers, Kevin Love (PF) continues to play well this season averaging 46.7 Draftkings points per game on the season and gets a great matchup against a bad Wizards team. Tristan Thompson (C) is a double-double machine and should have no issue bodying up Thomas Bryant. Collin Sexton (PG) is the most consistent guard option on this team while Jordan Clarkson (PG) and Darius Garland (PG) are both GPP plays at best on this slate. From the Wizards, Bradley Beal (SG) hasn’t been great over the past three games but the usage is there and this is a great matchup, I don’t love the price tag but he’s always in play for GPPs. Thomas Bryant (C) draws a tough matchup against Tristan Thompson but is playing well regardless. Isaiah Thomas (PG) is a lot like Derrick Rose in that he completely takes over in the second unit and is not afraid to chase points, I like him as a GPP option as well. Rui Hachimura (PF) has seen his price come down pretty hard but he’s just not playing great right now, I’ll wait for him to get back into things.

5-star play: Kevin Love (PF), Tristan Thompson (C), Bradley Beal (SG)

4-star play: Isaiah Thomas (PG), Thomas Bryant (C)

Deeper Value: Troy Brown (SF), Mo Wagner (C), Darius Garland (PG)

GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton (PG), Jordan Clarkson (PG), Rui Hachimura (PF)

Memphis Grizzlies @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: 208

Vegas Spread: Orl -6.5

The Grizzlies are playing at one of the fastest paces in the league while the Magic are the complete opposite which is cause for the low total in this one. Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant (PG) is playing a to of minutes but has gone for at least 30 Draftkings points in three straight games. That said, I don’t love targeting this game so he, along with most of this game is a GPP play. Jonas Valanciunas (C) continues to see his minutes increase and I would expect him to be up near 30 minutes here, it’s not the greatest matchup but he’s an elite point per minute guy. Dillion Brooks (SF) has at least 33 Draftkings points in each of his last two games while Brandon Clarke (PF) has gotten at least 30 in two of his last four. From the Magic, it’s basically just Nikola Vucevic (C) and Jonathan Isaac (PF) for me, you can make a case for Markelle Fultz (PG) as well considering his price. Aaron Gordon (PF) isn’t a terrible play against this fast Memphis team, but he just feels overpriced.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Ja Morant (PG), Jonas Valanciunas (C), Nikola Vucevic (C), Jonathan Isaac (PF)

Deeper Value: Markelle Fultz (PG)

GPP Sleeper: Ja Morant (PG), Dillion Brooks (SF), Brandon Clarke (PF)

Sacramento Kings @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 215

Vegas Spread: Sac -1.5

Starting with the Kings, De’Aaron Fox (PG) continues to look good here and should get a pretty good matchup against Trae Young and company. I don’t normally trust Buddy Hield (SG) in cash, but this is a pretty solid spot, I’m still more comfortable in GPPs with him, however. Harrison Barnes (SF) has sneakily been playing close to 40 minutes per game over his last four games while scoring over 30 Draftkings points in each of those games, he makes sense as a very solid cash game play. While Nemanja Bjelica (PF) and Richaun Holmes (C) continue to fill in for Marvin Bagley. From the Hawks, with John Collins (PF) out we thought we would see Trae Young (PG) go bananas in the last game, but he did not. I’m hoping this keeps the ownership down on him here because he still has a 35% usage rate and 1.51 fantasy points per minute with Collins off the court this season. Jabari Parker (PF) has been the fill-in for Collins and has performed well going for at least 30 Draftkings points in each of his last three games. DeAndre’ Bembry, De’Andre Hunter, and Kevin Huerter are all GPP shooting guard options.

5-star play: De’Aaron Fox (PG), Trae Young (PG)

4-star play: Buddy Hield (SG), Harrison Barnes (SF), Richaun Holmes (C), Jabari Parker (PF)

Deeper Value: DeAndre’ Bembry, De’Andre Hunter, and Kevin Huerter

GPP Sleeper: Buddy Hield (SG), Jabari Parker (PF), Alex Len (C)

Golden State Warriors @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

There’s not a total out on this game yet, but I would expect the total on this one to be pretty big. Starting with the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell (SG) is listed as probable for this game and has a 32% usage rate with Curry and Green off the court this season. Russell being back should also hurt guys like Ky Bowman (PG) and Damion Lee (SG), I don’t expect them to fully go away, but they’re priced up. Draymond Green (PF) is still out for this team which means you can fire Eric Paschall (PF) right back up. From the Timberwolves, Karl Anthony-Towns (C) is averaging 56 Draftkings points per game this season and should be able to do whatever he pleases in this matchup, he’s an elite play. Jeff Teague (PG) is currently listed as questionable but my gut thinks he plays here if he’s in he’s a solid pay as well. Andrew Wiggins (SF) continues to prove me wrong and has been very solid, I don’t mind him if you fall in his price range.

5-star play: D’Angelo Russell (SG), Karl-Anthony Towns (C)

4-star play: Eric Paschall (PF), Jeff Teague (PG), Andrew Wiggins (SF)

Deeper Value: Willie Cauley-Stein (C)

GPP Sleeper: Willie Cauley-Stein (C), Andrew Wiggins (SF), Jordan Poole (SG)

Toronto Raptors @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 234

Vegas Spread: Tor -2.0

This game has a massive game total and is one that we will want to look for for some fantasy production. Starting with the Raptors, this is an elite spot for Pascal Siakam (PF) who scored 66 Draftkings points in this matchup in the opener this season. Kyle Lowry (PG) is one of the safer point guard options on the slate and still has some decent upside as well, also getting nearly 40 minutes per game. Fred VanVleet (SG) has averaged more than 30 Draftkings points per game this season, that said I don’t love the price tag but it’s a great matchup, nice GPP play. Serge Ibaka (PF) and Marc Gasol (C) are solid GPP plays while OG Anunoby (SF) is solid for cash games at their respective price tags. From the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram (SF) is loving his time in New Orleans and is averaging 45 Draftkings points per game this season. Jrue Holiday (SG) hasn’t been quite what he was last year and seems a touch overpriced here, I’ll wait for that price tag to come down a touch. Lonzo Ball (PG) feels a bit overpriced as well but will be a solid play if he gets his usual minutes. Finally, Josh Hart (SG) also makes sense as a play if you land on him, but not a guy I’m forcing in.

5-star play: Pascal Siakam (PF), Kyle Lowry (PG), Brandon Ingram (SF)

4-star play: Fred VanVleet (SG), OG Anunoby (SF), Lonzo Ball (PG), Josh Hart (SG)

Deeper Value: Jahlil Okafor (C)

GPP Sleeper: Lonzo Ball (PG), Serge Ibaka (PF), Marc Gasol (C)

New York Knicks @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 216.5

Vegas Spread: Dal -11

Starting with the Knicks, Julius Randle (PF) and RJ Barrett (SG) are really the only guys on this team that is getting consistent playing time, both are very solid plays on this slate. Marcus Morris (PF) is playing great basketball right now, but Fizdale loves to get you to trust a guy and then rip your heart out and give him like 7 minutes. That was only half-joking… I like Morris here but only as a GPP play because of the volatility with the rotation. That said, both him and Bobby Portis (PF) should see a boost with Mitchell Robinson (C) being ruled out for this game. Lastly, Frank Ntilikina (PG) should get another start with Payton and DSJ sill out for this team, he makes sense at a fairly cheap price tag. From the Mavericks, Luka Doncic (PG) is eating the NBA alive and has gone for at least 70 Draftkings points in two of his last three games and still feels too cheap here for a matchup with a bad Knicks defensive teams. Kristaps Porzingis (PF) will get a bit of a #RevengeGame here as he gets his first game against the team that drafted him. I like him quite a bit here, I wish he was in better form though. The rest of this team really isn’t in play for me but Delon Wright (PG) and Dwight Powell (C) make sense as secondary cash plays if you fall on them to complete your lineup.

5-star play: Luka Doncic (PG), RJ Barrett (SG), Julius Randle (PF)

4-star play: Kristaps Porzingis (PF), Bobby Portis (PF), Marcus Morris (PF)

Deeper Value: Frank Ntilikina (PG), Dwight Powell (C)

GPP Sleeper: Kristaps Porzingis (PF), Bobby Portis (PF), Marcus Morris (PF)

Milwaukee Bucks @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 218.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -1.5

Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo (SF) is the guy here and is averaging 64 Draftkings points per game on the season. He is an elite play no matter the matchup. Khris Middleton (SG) is a solid cash option, that said I don’t love the matchup. Eric Bledsoe (PG) has been playing great over the past handful of games, he has gone for at least 30 Draftkings points in five of his last six games. Brook Lopez (C) finally had a big game in the last game out against the Clippers, but this is a very tough matchup for him, I’ll wait for a better matchup. Finally, George Hill (PG) and Donte DiVincenzo (SG) are solid value GPP options if you need them. From the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is the man in this offense and makes for a great GPP play, although I don’t know that I get here for cash games. Rudy Gobert is finally starting to prove some consistency, I don’t love the matchup for him which is why he is a GPP play at best for me. Mike Conley will be a GPP play for the near future as he has one of the lowest floors of any starting point guard that will see over 30 minutes every game. Bojan Bogdanovic continues to play very well and is one of my favorite guys in that price tag as the Bucks give up a ton of three-pointers to opposing teams.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo (SF)

4-star play: Donovan Mitchell (SG), Eric Bledsoe (PG), Rudy Gobert (C), Bojan Bogdanovic (SF)

Deeper Value: George Hill (PG), Donte DiVincenzo (SG)

GPP Sleeper: Khris Middleton (SG), Eric Bledsoe (PG), Brook Lopez (C), Donovan Mitchell (SG), Rudy Gobert (C)

Philadelphia 76ers @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Sixers, Ben Simmons (PG) will be out for the next handful of games which will open up the usage and minutes on this offense. With Simmons off the court, this season Joel Embiid (C) has a 34.5% usage rate and 1.9 fantasy points per minute and is an elite play on this slate even in a difficult matchup. Al Horford (PF) and Tobias Harris (PF) are both at a 25% usage rate with Simmons off the court and make for fine secondary cash plays. Josh Richardson’s (SG) price skyrocketed overnight but should get more ball-handling opportunities with Simmons out and makes for a solid play as well. Keep an eye on the starting lineup but Raul Neto (PG) is a candidate to take a bulk of Simmons’ minutes. From the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic (C) has struggled to open the season and in a tough matchup against Embiid, I think I’ll spend my money elsewhere for cash games. Really the only other guy I trust in this offense is Jamal Murray (PG) who makes sense as a secondary play in this matchup. Will Barton (SG) has scored at least 30 Draftkings points in each of his last three games as well but is more of a GPP play for me because of the volatility that he brings.

5-star play: Joel Embiid (C)

4-star play: Al Horford (PF), Tobias Harris (PF), Josh Richardson (SG), Jamal Murray (PG), Nikola Jokic (C), Will Barton (SG)

Deeper Value: Raul Neto (PG)

GPP Sleeper: Nikola Jokic (C), Will Barton (SG)

Brooklyn Nets @ Portland Trail Blazers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Nets, I love this point guard matchup between Kyrie Irving (PG) and Damian Lillard (PG), I don’t hate a stack of these two guys if you can make it work. The Blazers rank 27th in defense against point guards in the league. Caris LeVert (SG) has played well as of late and in a game that I expect to be fairly high scoring, I like him. Taurean Prince’s (SF) price is starting to get to a place that I feel is a bit high, but is still playing very well, he’s more of a GPP play for me. DeAndre Jordan (C) is questionable here if he ends up being out I like Jarrett Allen (C) who should see a good chunk of extra minutes. From the Blazers, I mentioned that I like Lillard he’s gone for at least 50 Draftkings points in all but one game this season and is simply too cheap right now. Streaming centers against the Nets have proven to be profitable this season which makes me like Hassan Whiteside (C). I’m never really super high on CJ McCollum (SG), but he’s a fine play here if you fall on him. Rodney Hood (SG) and Mario Hezonja (SF) are playing a good amount of minutes and make sense as value options.

5-star play: Kyrie Irving (PG), Damian Lillard (PG)

4-star play: Caris LeVert (SG), Hassan Whiteside (C)

Deeper Value: Rodney Hood (SG), Mario Hezonja (SF), Kent Bazemore (SG)

GPP Sleeper: Jarrett Allen (C) – gets a bump if Jordan is out, CJ McCollum (SG), Taurean Prince (SF)

Miami Heat @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Heat, the guy on this team is Jimmy Butler (SG) and usually is a guy that gets up for games against opposing superstars like LeBron James (SF). He still feels too cheap and is a guy I like quite a bit here. The Heat will need the size of Bam Adebayo (C) here and has been super consistent this season. Speaking of big men, Kelly Olynyk (PF) and Meyers Leonard (PF) will be needed to help guard Anthony Davis here and make sense as value plays. Tyler Herro (SG) Kendrick Nunn (SG), and Goran Dragic (PG) are all fine GPP plays but I like the two coming off the bench more if Justise Winslow (PG)  is to miss again as he is in the concussion protocol. From the Lakers, it’s really just LeBron James (SF) and Anthony Davis (PF) both of who have usage rates of over 30% and have 90 Draftking point upside, picking between the two can be tough but the Jimmy Butler matchup for LeBron is enough for me to prefer Anthony Davis on this slate.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler (SG), Bam Adebayo (C), Anthony Davis (PF), LeBron James (SF)

4-star play: Tyler Herro (SG) Kendrick Nunn (SG), and Goran Dragic (PG)

Deeper Value: Kelly Olynyk (PF), Meyers Leonard (PF)

GPP Sleeper: Tyler Herro (SG) Kendrick Nunn (SG), and Goran Dragic (PG)
