Full Court Press:

Detroit Pistons @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 226

Vegas Spread: Was -1.5

This total seems low for this game, and your premier plays are going to be Andre Drummond and Bradley Beal. There should be a ton of points scored in this game and the majority of it will come from those two. I have some serious interest in Derrick Rose as well, especially if Reggie Jackson sits again tonight. Rui Hachimura has been really good for this Wizards team and he will play over 30 minutes again. Kennard also is the leader off the bench for this Pistons team, and I expect him and Rose to have some big games as long as Jackson remains out. IT2 has also been playing really well for this Wizards and I expect him to start getting more run as the season progresses because Ish just hasn’t been getting the job done. One under the radar play that not many people will be on either is Davis Bertans as he is seeing almost 30 minutes off the bench for this Wizards team and have been consistently producing in the 20-30 FP range. We have some nice value on this slate that starts right with this first game.

5-star plays: Andre Drummond, Bradley Beal

4-star plays: Rui Hachimura, Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard

Deeper Value: Tim Frazier, Luke Kennard, Isaiah Thomas

GPP Sleeper: Davis Bertans, Isaiah Thomas, Tim Frazier

New Orleans Pelicans @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 222

Vegas Spread: Bkn -3.5

There should be plenty of points scored in this game as well, and it is one I’ll be targeting pretty heavily tonight, especially if Derrick Favors is out again as Okafor would basically become a free square. Brandon Ingram is going to be my favorite play from this game. Kyrie is going to be another solid play here tonight as his price finally dropped under 10K and he has almost a 40% usage rate with this Nets team. LeVert always makes for a fine GPP play as his price always hovers in this range and he can pop off a 5o burger a few times a year. I have some interest in Jrue here as well, as they’ll likely be going to need him to defend Kyrie. A deep GPP play here is Jaxson Hayes as Okafor can get into foul trouble as we’ve seen and we can get a nice return, especially if Favors is out.

5-star plays: Brandon Ingram, Kyrie Irving

4-star plays: Jrue Holiday, Caris LeVert, Jahlil Okafor (if Favors sits)

Deeper Value: Jahlil Okafor, Jaxson Hayes

GPP Sleeper: Jaxson Hayes

Houston Rockets @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: Hou: -6.5

The Rockets will be without Russell Westbrook tonight, as he’s resting on the 2nd half of a B2B, which means even more usage for James Harden. It’s going to be hard to fade him in this spot, as the Rockets and Grizzlies both play at a very fast pace and we all know what his ceiling is in spots like that. Clint Capela should also see a decent boost on the offensive end without Westbrook, so he makes the short list of plays at Center. Eric Gordon should also see a nice boost here, and I like him more if he comes off the bench as he’ll lead the second unit without having to deal with Harden and Westbrook staggering minutes there. It also opens up value at the PG position, and I’ll have interest in whoever starts between Austin Rivers or Chris Clemons. On the Grizzlies side of the ball, Ja Morant gets up for big games, as we saw against the Lakers, and this is one that I see him going all out for as the Grizzlies will need his scoring. Jaren Jackson Jr. also makes for an interesting play here if he can stay out of foul trouble, as he can put up FPs in a hurry in matchups like this. JoVal is also in play here, although he is still on that minutes limit as he’ll be needed for scoring. Lastly, Brandon Clarke is squarely in play as he has been an absolute beast off the bench for this Grizzlies team and he is still a bit underpriced with JoVal on that minutes limit.

5-star plays: James Harden

4-star plays: Ja Morant, Clint Capela, Jaren Jackson Jr., Jonas Valanciunas

Deeper Value: Brandon Clarke, Eric Gordon, Chris Clemons, Austin Rivers

GPP Sleeper: Eric Gordon, Chris Clemons, Austin Rivers

Milwaukee Bucks @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: Mil: -6.0

The Wolves will be without KAT again tonight, and the biggest beneficiaries of his absence will be Jeff Teague, Andrew Wiggins, and Gorgui Dieng who started in his place last game. All 3 are in play again tonight as they get a tougher game against the Bucks and Giannis. Noah Vonleh was the value darling of everyone in the industry, until Dieng was announced as the starter. Still, everyone will be off of him in this game after he disappointed last game, he makes for a deep GPP sleeper as he should see some solid run off the bench if Dieng starts again. For the Bucks, you have to have some shares of Giannis, as he can break the slate and he scored over 70 FPs in his last game and he always shows up for bigger games like this. Khris Middleton is also in play here, but I don’t really like his price point as he tends to be more scoring dependent. Eric Bledsoe is also in play here, as he’s been playing better after missing the whole preseason, and the Wolves are bleeding fantasy points to PGs. His price is starting to catchup so we need to get in while we still can. George Hill is also in play here, as he sees some serious run off the bench as well.

5-star plays: Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star plays: Jeff Teague, Andrew Wiggins, Gorgui Dieng, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe

Deeper Value: Noah Vonleh, George Hill

GPP Sleeper: Noah Vonleh, George Hill, Gorgui Dieng

Philadelphia 76ers @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: Phi: -1.5

The Sixers will be without Embiid again tonight as he is still suspended, which opens up a ton of usage for the rest of their starters, and they’re all solid cash plays here, specifically Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons, and Al Horford as they all see usage bumps without Embiid. James Ennis saw some decent run off the bench without Embiid there, and Kyle O’Quinn comes into play here as he is a FPPM monster and should see around 20ish minutes in this game. On the other side of the ball, the Suns offense flows through Devin Booker, and he actually has a PG that can get him the ball in good situations with Ricky Rubio, and the Suns have shown that they are legit this year and they can hang with anyone. I’m a big fan of targeting this game as there should be a ton of points scored as both these teams play at a pretty fast pace and it should stay very close. Kelly Oubre is as solid as they come for cash, as he hovers around the 40 FP mark every game and should see 30+ minutes here. Aron Baynes also makes for a solid cash play here, as he’s been very involved in this offense and is getting some solid run with no Ayton in.

5-star plays: Devin Booker, Ben Simmons

4-star plays: Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Kelly Oubre, Aron Baynes

Deeper Value: Kyle O’Quinn, James Ennis, Frank Kaminsky

GPP Sleeper: Kyle O’Quinn

Portland Trailblazers @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: Por: -9.5

The Warriors are in full tank mode right now, and they’re a hard team to predict as they’re without Steph Curry, so the bulk of the scoring is going to fall on D’Angelo Russell this year until Curry comes back. He has a solid matchup here as the Blazers can’t defend guards and he sat out last game so he should be fresh and ready to go tonight. I don’t have as much interest in Draymond Green as he’ll have his minutes limited, but he’s in play as he does all the dirty work for this Warriors team. Eric Paschall has come on as the guy, and he should see some solid run off the bench if he doesn’t start outright after his brilliant game against the Hornets. Glenn Robinson III is also sadly a decent play as he’ll play close to 40 minutes in this game. Ky Bowman is also interesting if he starts again, as the Warriors seem to prefer to have Russell playing at the 2. On the Blazers side of the ball, Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have a premier matchup as the Warriors are allowing a ton of fantasy points to guards and I don’t see them slowing the two of them down at all. I do prefer Dame though as he does it all, and CJ is more scoring dependent. Whiteside is also in play here, as he’s probable and the Warriors are actually giving up the most fantasy points to opposing teams so far this year. This is a nice hammer game if the Warriors can hang around as there should be plenty of points scored in this game.

5-star plays: Damian Lillard, D’Angelo Russell

4-star plays: Draymond Green, CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside, Ky Bowman, Glenn Robinson III

Deeper Value: Eric Paschall, Mario Hezonja, Ky Bowman

GPP Sleeper: Eric Paschall, Mario Hezonja, Ky Bowman
