Full Court Press:

Denver Nuggets @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: 205.5

Vegas Spread: DEN -4.5

On the Denver side, Nikola Jokic, has been much better offensively over his past few games, and his shots are beginning to fall again. I don’t love the total on this game, but he’s firmly in play here. Jamal Murray is in play here tonight on a small slate, but I don’t particularly love the matchup here against CoJo who has been really good defensively. Gary Harris (SG) makes for a decent value play here, as he plays a ton of minutes and will need to continue to do so in order to matchup with Buddy Hield. He has those random games where his shot is falling as well and could really pop at low ownership in spots like this. Will Barton (SF) has also been playing pretty well as of late and he’s firmly in play for GPPs, I just don’t love his price. For deeper value, Monte Morris has been playing pretty well over the past few games with the 2nd unit, and if you think Denver handles the Kings easily then he’s a great value play on a small slate.

Starting with the Kings Buddy Hield is going to be your best option, as he has been carrying this offense with De’Aaron Fox out. Cory Joseph is still a bit underpriced, and he gets a solid matchup against Jamal Murray, who’s defense has been non-existant. Richaun Holmes has been playing really well as of late, but I don’t love the matchup here against Denver who is one of the better defensive teams in the league. Bogdan Bogdanovic is also firmly in play here, as he still sees the biggest usage boost with Fox out. I don’t love this matchup for either team as it is going to be a slower paced game.

5-star plays: Nikola Jokic, Buddy Hield

4-star plays: Bogdan Bogdanovic, Jamal Murray, Richaun Holmes

Deeper Value: Cory Joseph, Monte Morris

GPP Sleeper: Cory Joseph

Indiana Pacers @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 207.5

Vegas Spread: PHI -4.0

From the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon are both in play here, as they are the best offensive players for this Pacers team. I don’t love the total on this game either and if I had to lean one way I’d go Sabonis as Brogdon should struggle a little with Simmons’ size. . Similarly, Jeremy Lamb and Myles Turner are priced pretty closely, and Lamb is looking better as of late while Turner isn’t in the best form, the total in this game just really isn’t appealing. Lastly, TJ Warren is a nice GPP play who will be extremely low owned in this spot. T.J. McConnell is also firmly in play here against his old team here, and he’s priced very cheaply and won’t have to go against Simmons.

Starting with the 76ers, the big news here is going to be if Joel Embiid plays on the 2nd half of a B2B. He has 45+ Draftkings points in five of his last six games, and he’s an elite play if he suits up tonight. If Embiid sits, Ben Simmons feels priced about right here and has triple-double upside every time he takes the court, especially if Embiid doesn’t play. Simmons sees the biggest usage boost here if Embiid is out.. Al Horford and Josh Richardson are both GTD’s here which will give the rest of this starting five a bit more usage. With Horford and Richardson off the court this season, Tobias Harris has a 22% usage rate and just under a fantasy point per minute. Furkan Korkmaz getting the start and playing good minutes, but let’s be honest about the talent of this guy. James Ennis will also be firmly in play here, as he sees a nice usage boost with J-Rich off the court, and he’s very underpriced here.

5-star play: Joel Embiid (if he plays), Ben Simmons (if Embiid sits)

4-star play: Tobias Harris (if Embiid plays, 5 star play if Embiid sits), Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis

Deeper Value: Furkan Korkmaz, James Ennis, T.J. McConnell

GPP Sleeper: T.J. McConnell

Atlanta Hawks @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: 236.5

Vegas Spread: HOU -13.5

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young has 45+ Draftkings points in four straight games, although this isn’t a great matchup as the Rockets have actually been pretty good against PGs so far this year. But Young is matchup proof as he showed last night, and if his shot is falling his ceiling is hard to ignore. Jabari Parker went banana’s against his old team last time out, I like going right back to the well here as the Rockets interior hasn’t been great as of late. The rest of this team is a bunch of GPP flyers that we don’t really need on a smaller slate, but if you need to go to someone it’d be Cam Reddish with Huerter still out.

On the Houston side of the ball, your choice is going to come down to whether you want to go with Russell Westbrook or pay up for James Harden. Both of these guys are in solid spots, but Westbrook has the better matchup, and they stagger their minutes to the point where they can both eat in one game, but I wouldn’t pair them together as it takes a huge chunk of your salary. Westbrook is the better salary option in my opinion, but Harden is matchup proof and can go off in any given matchup. The spread here suggests that it’ll be a blowout, but the Hawks have a tendency to hang around, even on the 2nd half of a B2B where they went into OT last night.  Clint Capela as he’s been taking on a more offensive role as well this year behind the two main stud guards, as he’s been rebounding really well and has been more aggressive on offense around the hoop. However, he’s doubtful which will put Tyson Chandler firmly in play for value. This is also the type of game where P.J. Tucker thrives as he gets most of his FPs from peripheral stats. Danuel House is also in play with Eric Gordon still out as the Hawks have been bleeding FPs to opposing SFs.

5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Trae Young

4-star play: Jabari Parker, P.J. Tucker

Deeper Value: Danuel House, Tyson Chandler

GPP Sleeper: Austin Rivers, Danuel House

Charlotte Hornets @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 226

Vegas Spread: MIL -13.0

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham has been playing at an extremely high level as of late, and his minutes are blowout proof , I like him quite a bit here as he won’t have to deal with the tougher defense of the Bucks starters. Terry Rozier has been very consistent as of late, I don’t hate him for GPPs here either and he gets the best matchup at the PG position against Bledsoe. Miles Bridges, Cody Zeller, and PJ Washington are all deep GPP options on this small slate, but I’m not going out of my way to play them. If Cody Zeller sits again, then Bismack Biyombo is firmly in play for value once again on a small slate.

Starting with the Bucks, it is all Giannis Antetokounmpo here as he has a 38.6% usage rate and 1.88 fantasy points per minute, averaging 63.7  Draftkings points per game. If you have the money, play him. Khris Middleton returned from injury last game but came off the bench and played just 20 minutes, I’ll wait until he’s getting his full complement of minutes and there’s really no reason to play him in this matchup, especially if it gets ugly. Eric Bledsoe bounced back nicely after a few duds last game, with Middleton back he may see a dip in production and I don’t like them on the floor together at the same time. Brook Lopez is a GPP as usual in hopes he gets hot from three. Donte DiVincenzo continues to play good basketball, but will likely move back to the bench with Middleton back in the lineup. He’s in play if you think this game gets out of hand. Same goes for George Hill and Pat Connaughton as deep GPPs plays on a smaller slate.

5-star play: Giannis Antetonkounmpo

4-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier, Eric Bledsoe

Deeper Value: Pat Connaughton, Donte DiVinvenzo, Brook Lopez

GPP Sleeper: George Hill, Pat Connaughton
