Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides, that said, we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Michael aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Full Court Press:
Miami Heat @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Vegas Total: 215
Vegas Spread: Mia -5.0
This is the lone early game on the day, so if you want to play this one you’ll have to play the showdown slate. That said, we will get started with the Miami Heat. Jimmy Butler is getting a consistent 35+ minutes per game and I wouldn’t expect that to change here. He’s been one of the most consistent guys in the league and I love going back to him here. Bam Adebayo has also been very consistent in his first season as a true starter, the Cavs haven’t been good against opposing big men. The backcourt is a mess with Justise Winslow out, Tyler Herro questionable, and Goran Dragic also questionable. If they all miss, Kendrick Nunn becomes an elite play while guys like Duncan Robinson and James Johnson could see big minutes while Dion Waiters is serving a suspension. From the Cavs, Kevin Love is the man here but he’s not in great form having scored less than 40 Draftkings points in four straight games. Tristan Thompson continues to put up double-doubles and is in play again here. While guys like Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland are GPP plays.

Dallas Mavericks @ New York Knicks
Vegas Total: 216.5
Vegas Spread: Dal -7.0
Starting with the Mavs, Luka Doncic continues to set the world on fire and just went for 72.5 Draftkings points against this Knicks team last week, he’s an elite play. Kristaps Porzingis returns to Madison Square Garden here and is a guy that I will look to get to at his price, as he dropped a 50 burger on the Knicks as well last week. The rest of this team is really just GPP plays for me, Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell are fine mid-range plays. From the Knicks, RJ Barrett finally bounced back after two straight duds and is getting consistently high minutes, he’s a solid play here. Julius Randle and Marcus Morris are owning the frontcourt minutes for this team and playing great basketball. Lastly, if Mitchell Robinson is out again I will go back to the Bobby Portis well.

Chicago Bulls @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Spread: Mil -11.5
This game should be a lot of fun and has a pretty high total that we should look to target from a DFS perspective. Starting with the Bulls, I would expect Giannis to guard Lauri Markkanen so I can’t say I’m in love with him while this may funnel some usage to Zach LaVine and giving him a small boost. The Bucks have not been good against opposing centers this year, so I really don’t mind getting Wendell Carter exposure here. Coby White bounced back nicely last game after two straight stinkers, it feels like we will be chasing these types of games from him all season making him more of a GPP play. From the Bucks, the big story is that Khris Middleton will be out for a few weeks which should open up minutes and usage in the backcourt. With Middleton off the court, this season Giannis Antetokounmpo has a 35% usage rate and an insane 2.16 fantasy points per minute, he’s an elite play. Eric Bledsoe also sees a nice bump with a 26% usage rate and 1.46 fantasy points per minute. George Hill may see some extra minutes, but guys like Donte DiVincenzo and Pat Connaughton should get extended minutes and make sense as value plays.

Los Angeles Clippers @ New Orleans Pelicans

Starting with the Clippers, this is the back end of a back to back so we will need to keep an eye on the status of Kawhi Leonard but I’ll operate under the assumption that he plays and is an elite play at his current price in this matchup. We will also need to keep an eye on Paul George who may make his return here if so I don’t expect that he gets much more than 20 minutes. As always, Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams are great GPP plays. From the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram is a game-time decision while Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart are out. I’ll operate under the assumption that Ingram is in and has a 30% usage rate with Hart and Lonzo off the court. Jrue Holiday continues to be very consistent and should get all the minutes he can handle with Ball and Hart out. I would think that Kenrich Williams and JJ Redick continue to start here and are elite plays considering their current prices.

Atlanta Hawks @ Phoenix Suns

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young is the man here and is far too cheap. Young has a 36% usage rate and 1.5 fantasy points per minute with Collins off the court this season. He’s coming off a 68 point Draftkings game and is in a very fast-paced game here, I love him here. Jabari Parker continues to play well in fill-in for John Collins, at this point he’s hard to ignore. The rest of this team is really only GPP plays for me, but guys like DeAndre Bembry and DeAndre Hunter should see extended minutes with Kevin Huerter and Vince Carter out. From the Suns, Devin Booker draws a great matchup here as the Hawks are 28th in the league against opposing shooting guards. Ricky Rubio continues to play well and has gone over 40 Draftkings points in three of his last four games. Aron Baynes continues to crush as well as he’s gone for at least 30 Draftkings points in six straight games. Kelly Oubre and Dario Saric are fine GPP options.

Brooklyn Nets @ Denver Nuggets

Starting with the Nets, this offense runs through Kyrie Irving. He has a 33.5% usage rate on the season, although this is a difficult matchup, he’s more of an elite GPP play and a secondary cash option for me. Make sure to keep an eye on him here as he is currently listed as questionable. DeAndre Jordan is coming off a massive game last time out and has now scored at least 37 Draftkings in three of his last four games and they’ll need his size to help contain Jokic. Caris LeVert is going to be out for a while which will give Spencer Dinwiddie a big boost in usage bringing him to 33.6% on the season with LeVert off the court. This should also open up minutes for Taurean Prince and Joe Harris. From the Nuggets, I’ve been streaming centers against the Nets all season and I won’t stop here, Nikola Jokic is an elite play and a very reasonable price tag. Jamal Murray and Will Barton have been almost identical as of late and are producing very well, both are great plays here against the Nets. Paul Millsap has three straight 30 point Draftkings games and will play some five here which means I will have interest.
