QB

Quentin Harris (DK $8,100/FD $9,300)

Harris has been great outside of teams named Alabama.  He is averaging over 40 fantasy points in those games.  This will be a little bit of a tougher defense against conference foe Virginia Tech but they are giving up over 25 fantasy points a game to opposing QBs.  Harris can use his legs as well as his arm to tear through this VT defense.  He is the most expensive QB on DK so he is a little harder to fit but he is viable in all formats.

Sean Clifford (DK $7,900/FD $10,000)

Clifford had a really great start to the season before getting stifled against Pitt in week 3.  It was a weird game that was delayed due to weather which seemed to really affect the rhythm of the game.  He is coming off of a bye week and has had plenty of time to prepare for a Maryland team that is giving up over 25 fantasy points a week to opposing FBS QBs.  I think this is a great bounce-back spot for Clifford in the highest total game of the night.

Donald Hammond III (DK $6,900/FD $9,000)

Hammond runs the triple option for Air Force and is a constant threat for big points.  In addition to his rushing which has been over 4.7 yards per carry, he has thrown the ball over 10 times in each of the last 2 games.  He is going up against a defense that has been subpar over the years and should give up plenty of points.  They are also giving up 4.5 yards a rush.  Hammond is higher priced than I like for what he does but he is always capable of getting in the end zone 2 to 3 times in this triple-option offense.

The DS is a powerful tool to have for all sports, especially CFB!  This shows how a powerful tool can help even if you don’t have a ton of time to get in there into the nitty-gritty!

RB

Eno Benjamin (DK $7,600/FD $9,100)

Cal has been pretty good on defense this year but this will be the toughest running back they have faced.  Benjamin has not been as efficient as last year, running for just 3.8 ypc, but Cal is giving up over 4 ypc.  He has at least 20 rushes in all games against FCS opponents and at least 2 receptions in every game.  He is a huge part of this offense and I think he will be used a lot in this slobber knocker type of game.

Journey Brown (DK $5,200/FD $8,200)

Brown is very much a boom or bust type of player.  He has no more than 10 carries in a game but has been trending upward.  This is a slate with 2 main backs, but one of those is McFarland who has to face a very tough Penn State rush defense.  I like Brown because of his lower price and the fact that he has the big play ability.  He will be a GPP only play for me based on the low floor but he has a very high ceiling.

Anthony McFarland (DK $7,700/FD $9,400)

McFarland is one of the two premier backs on this slate but he is going up against a very tough Penn State defense that is giving up just 2.5 yards per carry.  He did have 26 carries against Temple but I do not know if that will be sustainable in a game that should be higher scoring.  I think McFarland will be very high owned so he will be a great cash play but I do not know that the ceiling is all that high for him.

WR

Brandon Aiyuk (DK $6,200/FD $8,900)

Aiyuk continues to be the main target for the freshman QB with at least 6 targets in every game and 13 in week 4.  He has a reception of at least 40 yards in every game so far this year so the deep threat ability is very much in play.  This is slated to be a lower scoring game but Aiyuk even put up over 10 fantasy points in the 10-7 win over Michigan State a few games ago.  I think he is viable in all formats on this slate.

KJ Hamler (DK $6,100/FD $8,600)

Hamler is becoming more and more a part of this offense and was up to 9 targets against Pitt.  He has catches over 35 yards in each of the last 2 games and is always a big-play threat.  Maryland has given up over 500 yards and 50 TDs to WRs over the past 2 games and that could lead to a huge game for Hamler.  I really like him at his price this week.

Jalon Calhoun (DK $5,100/FD $7,600)

Calhoun has become a major part of this Duke offense with 16 targets over the past 2 games.  He took over the starting role when Jake Bobo broke his collar bone but Bobo was back last game and did not see any playing time.  That could change week to week but Calhoun is at a great price for a receiver that is seeing so many targets.
