Week 3 is here and we get a really fun slate to start the week off. Houston and Wazzou should be a really high scoring game that could turn into a shootout. Boston College gets to face a Kansas team that is coming off of a loss to Coastal Carolina and they are expected to crush them. Finally, in the strangest game of the night, we get 2 ACC teams, Wake Forest and North Carolina facing off in a non-ACC matchup. That game is expected to be high scoring and a shootout as well and should be so much fun to watch. Below I have listed some of my top picks on the slate, but not all of them! Jamie Newman (FD $10,000/DK $7,200)
Jamie Newman has thrown 37 times a game for over 350 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first 2 games. This is a team that likes to have tempo and when needed can have a ton of plays. North Carolina has been pretty good against the pass this year giving up just 225 a game but they have not played anyone that has an offense like Wake Forest. I love this game from a stack standpoint as it is expected to be a shootout.
D’Eriq King FD $9,800/DK $8,000)
King is one of the most productive fantasy players in DFS. He has had a slightly down year do far, with lower than average numbers throwing the ball, but he has still had games over 20 fantasy points in both weeks. He comes into a huge shootout with a Wazzou team that will put up some points. He gets it done with his arm and his legs and I look for him to have another big game this week.
Anthony Gordon (FD $10,400/DK $8,600)
Gordon has thrown at least 35 passes for at least 420 yards and at least 4 touchdowns in each of his first 2 games. He has been very accurate at over 80% on the year and he will continue to put up big numbers this week against a very weak Houston pass defense. Gordon is leading the air raid for the team with the highest ITT on the slate, and he is not ridiculously priced. He will be the highest owned player on this slate and rightfully so.

Cade Carney (FD $8,200/DK $5,800)
Carney was a game-time scratch last week against Rice but is on the depth chart this week and is expected to play. Carney had 25 rushes for over 100 yards and a TD in week 1 and gets to go up against a UNC defense that is giving up 4.5 yards a carry. We will have to watch and make sure there are no last-minute changes but in such a big matchup for the Demon Deacons I think Carney plays a big role.
AJ Dillon (FD $10,200/DK $7,800)
Dillon is a beast of a back and gets to face lowly Kansas in their first game against a Power 5 school this year. He is yet to break 100 yards rushing this year (which he did in half of his games last year) but already has 3 receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown which is more yards than he had in 10 games last year and the same amount of TDs. I think this could be Dillon’s breakout game this year against a team that lost to Coastal Carolina last week.
Javonte Williams (FD $8,700/DK $4,900)
Williams is in a timeshare at UNC with Michael Carter but was by far the more productive back through 2 weeks. He is averaging over 4 yards a carry and gets to go up against a Wake Forest team that is giving up almost 5 yards a carry. This game is predicted to be a shootout and I think the UNC will look to get their running game going to help out their freshman QB.

Sage Surratt (FD $9,300/DK $6,800)
Surratt leads the team with a 27% target share on a team that is pass-happy. He has at least 6 catches and a touchdown in each of the 2 games so far and will be heavily targeted again this week. He plays in the slot which is the favorite receiver in this Wake Forest offense and he should be in a good spot again this week.
Dyami Brown (FD $8,500/DK $6,000)
Brown is the target share leader for the Tar Heels with a 26% share. He has turned that into 8 receptions for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns. This week UNC is going to be in a shootout with Wake Forest who has been giving up 335 yards a game through the air. UNC will have to air it out to keep up with the Demon Deacons and I think that bodes well for Brown.
Easop Winston (FD $8,600/DK $7,600)
Winston had a huge game last week going for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns and is one of the big receivers for this Washington State team that likes to air it out. Winston is in a great position this week against a UH team that is prone to give up big yards through the air. This game is going to be very high scoring and might turn into a shootout so I want many pieces of it!
