In the list below the MLB Top Stacks, I will also list my Top5 at each position to give you more ideas on how to construct stacks today.

I use this sheet daily to help me identify top stacks on each slate
I’ve included the RAW number to show you the number that is being Ranked. This is the resulting number from my formula each day and should help illustrate exactly how much separation there is from team to team on the list. Some days there are very clear teams ranked in the Top 1 or 2. Other days they are grouped much tighter.
I’ve added a new Leverage Column, which is simply the Projection (minus) the Ownership. In theory, this should help us see who we can target at lower ownership and gain leverage on the field.

Braves
- Alcantara enters tonight’s game with a 5.86 xFIP on the season. Against lefties he has allowed a 338/174 woba/iso, a 39% fly-ball rate, and a 38% hard contact rate while only striking out 14% of lefties. Against right-handers he’s a little better, allowing a 333/157 woba/iso and allowing a little lower 34% fly ball rate and 33% hard contact rate. All of the lefties are in play here for the Braves and the righties like Donaldson and Acuna will likely be lower owned GPP options for me.
Rays
- The Rays will be one of the chalkier teams to stack tonight as they matchup against Asher Wojciechowski. On the year Wojciechowski has been bad, with a 5.39 xFIP, and against lefties he allows a 379/357 woba/iso with a 56% fly ball rate and 38% hard contact rate. Against righties, he has a better woba, only 310 but his iso is still bad 214. He gives up less hard contact, 31% and more fly balls, 59.7%. In cash I have no issues going to the Rays here tonight but in GPPs I will be underweight because I expect them to be so highly owned tonight, and it would not surprise me if they failed in this spot.

Dodgers
- Jacob Waguespack enters tonight’s game with a 4.98 xFIP and a 20% k rate vs lefties, and only a 16.5% k rate against righties this season. Against lefties, he’s been very good, only allowing a 235/051 woba/iso and a 28% hard contact rate. Against righties is where he as truly struggled, giving up a 404/250 woba/iso with a 37% fly-ball rate and a 47% hard contact rate. Waguespack has been good vs lefties and the Dodgers have a ton of lefties in their lineup, so his numbers may lead you to believe he could shut them down here tonight. I’m not going to bet on that however as the Dodgers have been absolutely on fire at home this season against right-handed pitching. They always make for a fun late-night hammer as they can explode at any moment.

Top Leverage Stacks
Rangers
- Currently, my 4th ranked stack, 6th highest projection and 6th highest owned they get a great matchup tonight against Ross Detwiler. On the year Detwiler has allowed a 362/302 woba/iso to lefties 38% hard contact rate. Against righties he’s even worse, allowing a 441/294 woba/iso and a 36% hard contact rate. This is a great spot for the Rangers here tonight in Chicago.
- When we’re looking for leverage we can’t always get teams that will be super low owned. In today’s DFS world there is a lot of information out there and teams in good spots will never go completely overlooking. This is the case with Texas tonight, I’m banking on them not being owned as high as they should be owned, so I will get leverage by being over the field on them.
Batter Rankings 08/22
These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’m going to use the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions.
I will use the 😍 ADORE feature in the MLB Domination Station to increase the projection of each of these players by 15%. Doing this will allow me to get MORE of them throughout all of my lineups.
