The Sway Bar: NASCAR Draftkings Plays, Fades and Values for Michigan

It’s Sway Bar time – airport addition! I am about to hop on a cross country flight so this will be a bit condensed, by the research is as good as ever. As always, the research is just getting started, so think about getting signed up and get exclusive access to our projection model, the domination station lineup optimizer, and most importantly, direct chat room access to some of the sharpest NASCAR minds in the industry. I will be on there all weekend updating everyone on my research.

 Top Plays

Kyle Busch – This is a layup. He starts 15th and pretty clearly has the best car. Look for KB to dominate this races second half.

Chase Elliott – Michigan is a great track for Chase, and he seemed to find some real speed towards the end of practice two. He starts 17th, so he is a real low risk play. Love it.

Martin Truex Jr. – MTJ rolls off 16th, and has similar speed to Kyle Busch. My only concern is his track record, which leaves a little to be desired. Regardless, I think he competes for a win on Sunday.

Kyle Larson – It wasn’t long ago that Larson owned Michigan, winning 3 times in a row. He qualified 22nd, and didnt show much speed in practice, but his Michigan prowess is enough to put him in.

Fades

My fades have been near useless this year, so I am going to refrain from giving them out for a while. Everyone is in play.

Values

Chris Buescher – Buescher is too damn good not to play if he is starting 31st. Layup.

Alex Bowman – This is borderline a top play. Bowman has top five speed and was getting faster and faster as time went on in practice. Great play.

Ryan Newman – Newman has great short run speed and should make up a lot of spots on restarts. Then he will make it impossible for anyone to get around him. Thats just the Newman way. I think a Newman top ten is realistic if the cautions fall right.

Corey Lajoie – Punt of the week. I wouldnt look at anyone priced lower than Lajoie.

So there it is folks. We will be talking more strategy on the DFS Army Slack Room right up until lock. Get signed up and get exclusive access to our projection model, the domination station lineup optimizer, and most importantly, direct chat room access to some of the sharpest NASCAR minds in the industry. As always, use my research as a launching point for yours. Trust your process, good luck this week, and let’s make some cash.
